Little tip for anyone who wants to play an army that involves gold in their colorscheme:
Don't.

First for best dread.

Re-posting

Hoping for a little assistance with my list, right now I have:

Alpha Legion Battalion
-Sorcerer w/Jump Pack - Prescience, Delightful Agonies
-Lord w/Jump Pack
-40x Cultists
-10x Cultists (2 units)

Nurgle Demon Battalion
-Winged Prince - 2x Malefic Talons, Shriveling Pox
-Sloppity Bilepiper
-Spoilpox Scrivener
-29x Plaguebearers - Icon, Instrument
-3x Nurglings (3 Units)

Thousand Sons Supreme Command (maybe)
-Winged Tzeentch Prince - 2x Talons, Diabolic Strength, Death Hex
-Winged Tzeentch Prince - 2x Talons, Boon of Change, Gaze of Fate
-Ahriman on Disc - Warptime, Temporal Manipulation, Weaver of Fates

That puts me at 1654 of 2k so I've got 346 points left to spend. I'm considering maybe making the TSons a battalion with some Tzaangors and cultists, Obliterators are obviously a choice as well. Ultimately the goal is not to have too many units clamoring for prescience and veterans so I'm not sure how another big horde would work. I could drop 1 Prince and turn the TSons into a Spearhead and go for a big unit of Enlightened with Greatbows as well.

And people say the inquisition is bad.

xth for 2002 points in 2000 point games.

>Sloppity Bilepiper
>Spoilpox Scrivener
Alright, I'm done

Just for clarification, when I have a 3+ armor rating, get shot with an AP -4 weapon but get +1 to my armor rolls by some ability, I get a regular 6+ armor save, right?

Which would y'all rather nut in a Tzeengor or a Wulfen

Nice try, heretic

boxnaught best naught

Yes, modifiers stack.

What can your army do to kill a Custodes? Bonus points for not needing four times their cost per kill.

Tzaangor. Birds are hot.

Yeah, that's how it do

They honestly shoukd have never tried. Like I honestly can't believe how many times they fucked up trying to redo this dude.

It's so perfect.

I'd rather be shot

>70+ model 2k melee Marine armies will never be good
*REEEEEEEEEEs in Crusading*

That's what they're called. I didn't pick the names.

You know who has hands? The devil..and he uses them for holding

Female wulfen?

That maybe. Don't want feathers on my dick, and you could pet her a lot more.

Never looked at their stats but on a whim I'd say Protector Protocol Kastelans with Elimination Volley active and a 6-Kataphron squad with overcharged Plasma should be able to dent them a bit at least.

How about no

You know who else has hands? Jesus, and he uses them to heal.

HAND HOLDING FOR LIFE!

Demon prince with Death Hex, cultist bomb.

In yer mum.
So a Wulfen because she's a bitch.

>still not warm enough to prime

This tbqh, Cloaca for days.

Plasma devastators probably. Haven't fought the Emperor's banana hands yet, but I assume they die to massed plasma volleys just the same

As a SW player I kindly invite you to fuck off

My mother was a Tzeengor, you just fell to chaos

Smite and more smite. Then an ability that smites after smiting.

Also a shit ton of anti terminator weapons and invuln save modifiers.

>"They're just running around down their nutting in beastmen, better just lay the exterminatus down just in case."

Id slingshot my blob of dudes across the table and probably kill 3 of them for 90 points

Poison and disintgrators. Maybe not the best way but, mass poison should do it.

Posted this last thread, but it's dying, so I'll ask again:

Bangles conversion user from earlier. Since I'm already planning on building off of the marines army already in my position, and as such any additions are going to not be standard bangles colors, I want to do something a little different for the Sang Guard. I'm pretty sure people have already tried or asked this, but are stormcast bits compatable with marines? I want to try using prosecutor wings for the extra fanciness

>tfw waiting since fucking October to prime my boys
>refuse to bring gray models to the table
>it'll still take me months to actually paint them
kill me

Fellas, I just got my first right and proper superheavy today. Jesus Christ, Falchions are huge. Any tips for someone who has never assembled a superheavy before?

Dis one

Skitarii Alpha Primus HQ fucking when?

Prime indoors - turn on your vent fan in the bathroom.

Massed lasgun fire. 80 shots from FRFSRF kill an average of almost 2 a turn, at almost equal points (110 for the Guard and Commander vs. ~50 per Custodes, invulns don't matter)

what the fuck, that wasnt the picture I wanted

>that one day it was 60 in December and I had like 100 things to prime but I couldn't because I needed to do something

FUCK

Googly eye is working really fast

I want pictures! Pictures of your WIPs!
Doing the initial drafts of freehands and traces. The Kabal sigil is traced over a transparent transfer sheet, the rest is free-hand with LOTS of corrections.

What should i equip an exalted khorne champ for world eaters babysitting berserkers? Just combi bolters?

cant, I live in an apartment with horrible neighbors who complain about everything then proceed to make curry and fuck up the whole building for weeks at a time

I can't into shit not flipping but here's my longtime Archmagus WIP

If you aren't blasting Latin and Gregorian war chants and burning incense when you build it, you're doomed for failure.

But realistically, go at it like a big-ass Lego set. Build it in sub assemblies, use a large, clear table, etc. Read the directions all the way through, look up tutorials for help, all that. Built my baneblade like that, and someday I'll muster the courage to paint it. Good luck user

To eliminate flipping, crop the photo on your phone by the slightest amount. I don't know why, but it works.

Pretty cool looking legs user

>use a large, clear table, etc.
Huh that sounds useful.

*moves and fires without penalty*

Legos man, Legos. It's a habit learned from childhood that has saved many a small bit from being lost to the gods/dogs

I’m just starting out in this hobby. I was wondering if I was collecting space marines, I can buy battle for vedros as a way to bolster my army with troops at a low price point? Or are the molds so outdated they wouldn’t work? Also, is it possible to mix imperial guard and space marines in the same army, or is it not allowed?

Lemme try that again then.

Thanks. They're Ironstrider legs armored with various Skitarii vehicle plating, using Killa Kan feet and attached toba Kastelan hip.

>guy with older armor has more purity seals
That's kind of neet touch

I really love your green/teal lines, I always have trouble with those kinds of highlights so I tend to avoid them

Battle at Vedros would be a great way for getting started. Anyone who gives you shit for using the marines from the box is an autist who should never be listened to.

And yes, you can bring guard and marines in the same list, but if they're in the same detachment, neither get their unique chapter/regiment tactic.

If you want a great deal and are fine using the newest hottedt Space Marine models/units over the bog-standard ones, the current Dark Imperium box is a great pack. Comed with the core rules and good units to start a Death Guard or Primaris Space Marine army with foe a super cheap price. Buying it and selling the Death Guard on ebay basically gives you most of the rest, if not all of it, for free.

this

>battle for vedros

Yeah man, they're great for expanding a force on the cheap. Only downside for them is they're snap fit, so you don't get to chose which weapons go on them, it's whatvers modelled on it. Plus, you can't pose them either, so there won't be much variation to them.

As for guard and marines, you can have them in the same army, but if you put them in the same detachment, you'll lose out on army specific bonuses. But you can, say, have guard in a patrol detachment and marines in a battalion, and be perfectly fine

Looks like a Bionicle.

Gun drones, CIB Commanders

Cuckstodes suck my dude.

In my experience the stormcast bits are little large however with some conversions can fit especially on the backpacks for like the wings and such

>tfw no female space marines with oiled abs

15 man death company with a chaplain in a land raider crusader party bus, good or bad idea?

How hard would it be to convert those set of 5 blood warriors into berserkers?

Those little hand shield seem hard to change into something.

I know user, truly a bliss

punch them to death with wraithlords

Wraithlords are still the coolest models in the game

too bad scale creep made them tiny and forgotten like carnifexes and broadsides

Is mortarion even worth fielding? Im in love with the model, but he just seems like a big 470 point fire magnet

Set of 5? Do you mean the "easy to build" set of 3?
If you are okay with buying the 10 man regular box, that kit comes with 10 left and 10 right axes so you it would be very easy to concert them to hold 40k weapons like chainswords or pistols.

he is decent.

lots of people used him at the las vegas tourney.

I'm have yet to meet someone who can outsmart BOOLET (Plasma rounds from my Hellblasters)

They're easy build sets of 5 I think, they're on eBay for like 12 bucks. I could just do the 50 but the 5 sets are a pretty good deal and I like going cheap for conversions.

finished my two 2k armies and haven't played either one yet. which do you think would win?

Bad idea, give them jump packs so you can use the stratagems to move them around.

Just finished the 4 sword and board today. That makes 10/24 bananas done.
Takes for fucking ever because the gold is made by dry brushing 3 metals, but I prefer it to getting the golden spray

to the user with the halberd problem:
just fluff my guy. Make your inquisichick a psyker and equip her with a force axe, which has literally the exact same stats as a nemesis force halberd. nobody will care. It's still kind of WYSIWYG, at least stat wise.

>running 3 squads of ten with 3 plasma cals each.
>would have to buy 9 fucking boxes of rangers/vanguard.
>just say "fuck it" and buy 3rd party plasma guns

DG walker on right?

Blue stuff and epoxy.

Darn. I guess I'll stick with the old terminator blender then for it then

Left because right doesn't look usuable.

Really? I figured magnus to be shitter, maybe cause he's in a shitter codex

Left, because ive had bad experiences with plague drones

Space Marine players, it is said that the chapter you play as/cares for is a reflection of your personality.

State it now, your chapter. And where it reflects on you.

For me?
Dark Angels
I too have a regret, one that I try to pursue and erase. Yet it keeps going. That terrible secret, this never-ending quests, is collecting these damn Dark Angels.

Not to mention the fact your a closeted homosexual, yea?

Wait, misread that, thought you were asking which I'd rather fight. Regardless, left, because I think it's be easier to get enough plasma cannon and heavy bolter shots onto them to drop them

Thats the reason dark angels reflects on you? For all this time I thought it was that you were also a gigantic faggot
