Blandius 3rd thread

over the last few days we rolled up a forge world called blandius II
it's average run of the mill forge world
the problem is it's so unassuming as to be suspicious
at least one inquisitor is convinced that blandius II is hiding something
this inquisitor attracted other curios party's which in turn attracted another inquisitor who ALSO became convinced that blandius was to normal to be normal
especially since the forge world destroyed a tzeentch worshipping heretek forge world
now several party's are convinced that blandius is hiding something mostly because of all the other party's convinced that blandius is hiding something

it's not
the nine is because of all the nines we rolled up in the original thread (but that couldn't have meant something could it?)

in the second thread we were rolling up the remains of the heretek forge world that the loyal forge world helped destroy as well as their fallen titan legion
but they also had some chaos space marine allies so today we're rolling them up

I assume since the Heretek's are Tzeentch-aligned the Warband shall also be? Or perhaps this is simply salt agglutination, where salt combines with salt to hide out on their super-secret Moon Base and plot the downfall of Blandius.

also last thread we decided that the hereteks warbands and titan legio remenents were hiding in the bombed out ruins of their old forge world

So, Heretek + Titans are hiding out on their Ghost Forge World.
Whilst the Warbands are hiding out on some Moon?

this is for the original legion that the warband split of from so maybe they were world eaters that started worshipping tzeentch? as well as some black legion that prefer tzeentch
i think the warband is in hiding on the forge world as well but maybe they have a forward base on a tiny moon close to blandius

I prefer to see it as the World Eaters being offered a plan to tear down the Empire by a Chaos God and accepting their roles in said plan.

Whilst the Black Legion has adopted Social Darwinism.

9 Honour Amongst Thieves. Despite being evil and cruel individuals, these Marines have a strong sense of brotherhood. Many would never even consider betraying their fellow warriors an option, and would even sacrifice themselves to save a friend's life.
7 Extra Heresy. A surprisingly large amount of the warband is willing to work alongside aliens, so long as they also worship Chaos (also this isn’t always the case. May also just include mutual hatred for the same enemy.). The battle-brothers in this force are more tolerant than most others.

seeing as the tzeentch worshipping world eaters the honer amongst thieves that probably means that they distrust tzeentch worshipping black legion
and the tzeentch legion marine are half mad maybe they sometimes forget they are in a bombed out ruin

they're led by a lord of change that's possessed a titan but they had they're own figures of legend

i really like the idea of the entire tzeench legion suffering from a collective psychotic break (perhaps because of the bombing) and going around thinking their underground ruins are a bunker fortress

51-70 The hero corrupted nearly an entire sector of planets, causing the populations of them to fall to Chaos. If your warband loathes Chaos, he instead managed to get entire sectors to violently rebel against Imperium rule, throwing them into total anarchy.
01-25 The figure is remembered as a scourge of the Imperium, having ravaged many planets and slaughtering servants of the Emperor aplenty.
maybe we just go with the first one and it was him who concerted both the warbands to tzeentch

3 Armoured Fist - The warband takes cues from the Imperial Guard. Every combat action they participate in is fought with a regiment's worth of armor and mechanized infantry, utterly crushing the opposition under their iron treads.
since the tzeentch legion are slightly schizophrenic maybe they don't quite understand that the forge world was pretty much destroyed
and world eaters ripping and tearing makes sense

2-4 The Warband is strong, but it's forces are spread thin, deployed in a Black Crusade, skirmishing, following their own agendas, etc.
1 The Warband lost a considerable portion of their forces in the Warp or due to mechanical errors (Critical reactor failure, sabotaged drop ships, etc.
the former world eaters defiantly outnumber the former black legion lets say that the devolved xenos companions are a tzeentch legion thing and that the special armour is spread out amongst bot warbands
we know why the're understrengh
and we know who they're allies with
and we know who their enemys are
