over the last few days we rolled up a forge world called blandius II it's average run of the mill forge world the problem is it's so unassuming as to be suspicious at least one inquisitor is convinced that blandius II is hiding something this inquisitor attracted other curios party's which in turn attracted another inquisitor who ALSO became convinced that blandius was to normal to be normal especially since the forge world destroyed a tzeentch worshipping heretek forge world now several party's are convinced that blandius is hiding something mostly because of all the other party's convinced that blandius is hiding something
it's not the nine is because of all the nines we rolled up in the original thread (but that couldn't have meant something could it?)
in the second thread we were rolling up the remains of the heretek forge world that the loyal forge world helped destroy as well as their fallen titan legion but they also had some chaos space marine allies so today we're rolling them up d10
Anthony Morales
Rolled 10 (1d10)
I assume since the Heretek's are Tzeentch-aligned the Warband shall also be? Or perhaps this is simply salt agglutination, where salt combines with salt to hide out on their super-secret Moon Base and plot the downfall of Blandius.
Jace Anderson
10 Legion Warband, roll again for secondary element such as allied groups and units (this can stack) d10 again then
Nolan Morales
Rolled 8 (1d10)
Mason Brown
6-8 Legion Warband (a warband of one of the nine original Chaos Space Marine Legions) so two warbands laying low together but wich two warbands 2d100 to decide also last thread we decided that the hereteks warbands and titan legio remenents were hiding in the bombed out ruins of their old forge world that's 2 d100
Brody Powell
Rolled 21, 3 = 24 (2d100)
So, Heretek + Titans are hiding out on their Ghost Forge World. Whilst the Warbands are hiding out on some Moon?
Justin Lee
16-30 World Eaters 1-15 Black Legion this is for the original legion that the warband split of from so maybe they were world eaters that started worshipping tzeentch? as well as some black legion that prefer tzeentch i think the warband is in hiding on the forge world as well but maybe they have a forward base on a tiny moon close to blandius
Noah Cook
oh and d10 for how devoted they are
Jonathan Martinez
Rolled 10 (1d10)
Liam Baker
8-10 Fanatic. The marines of the warband are highly devoted to their God(s), willingly submitting themselves to the Ruinous Powers and viewing possession as favourable. they like their tzeentch obviously we know who they worship but how 2d100
Sebastian Bennett
Rolled 42, 60 = 102 (2d100)
First Roll for the World Eaters fallen from Khorneflakes favour and into Tzeentch's, Second roll for the Black Legionaries.
Jonathan Butler
36-50 Death to the False Emperor - The Marines despise the carrion lord and his false empire. They hate every aspect of the Imperium and fight to bring it apart. 51-60 Suffer Not the Weak - Those who lack strength deserve no mercy, even fellow marines. Survival of the fittest. the... tzeentchnates hate big E and the tzeentch loving blacklegion hate the weak kind of ironic seeing as the're hiding in a bombed out ruin next up demeanour 2d10
Colton Young
Rolled 9, 7 = 16 (2d10)
I prefer to see it as the World Eaters being offered a plan to tear down the Empire by a Chaos God and accepting their roles in said plan.
Whilst the Black Legion has adopted Social Darwinism.
John Rodriguez
9 Honour Amongst Thieves. Despite being evil and cruel individuals, these Marines have a strong sense of brotherhood. Many would never even consider betraying their fellow warriors an option, and would even sacrifice themselves to save a friend's life. 7 Extra Heresy. A surprisingly large amount of the warband is willing to work alongside aliens, so long as they also worship Chaos (also this isn’t always the case. May also just include mutual hatred for the same enemy.). The battle-brothers in this force are more tolerant than most others. the former world eater are best buds and the legionnaires may work with aliens next up 2d10 for common mutations
Christian Clark
Rolled 4, 10 = 14 (2d10)
mutation+
Adrian Richardson
gotta leave now but i'll be back in half an hour 4 Freakish Skin 10 Multiple (make 2 rolls, re-rolling duplicates or 10's) so the tzeentchnates have wierd skin and the tzeentch legion need another d10
Connor Perry
Rolled 10, 10 = 20 (2d10)
What do you expect from a Warband that rolled EXTRA HERESY
Robert Sanchez
so 4d10 for a total of four mutations? not OP here so im not calling for a roll.
Matthew Cruz
Rolled 8, 5, 9, 8 = 30 (4d10)
Nah. I think we just keep rolling d10 until no more dubs or 10's come up. But just to test something.
Parker Gray
I'M BACK 2D10
Gabriel Ramirez
6-8 Body Horror 9 Breath Weapon 5 Voice of Evil defiantly going with the breath weapon because nine we rolled body horror twice but the evil voice fits with the breath weapon lets roll 2d10 for mental flaws and decide then
Xavier Peterson
Rolled 6, 1 = 7 (2d10)
here goes
Kevin Taylor
5-6 Surrounded by Traitors - Marines are paranoid that those who surround them are schemers and liars who may backstab them at any moment. 1-2 Horus, is that you? - Marines have trouble remembering certain things and occasionally hallucinate. seeing as the tzeentch worshipping world eaters the honer amongst thieves that probably means that they distrust tzeentch worshipping black legion and the tzeentch legion marine are half mad maybe they sometimes forget they are in a bombed out ruin also i'm gonna go with voice of evil so thats paranoid tzeentch worshipping world eaters with freaky skin and mildly schizophrenic tzeentch worshipping black legion with a freaky voice and a breath weapon they're led by a lord of change that's possessed a titan but they had they're own figures of legend 2d100
Wyatt Davis
Rolled 57, 13 = 70 (2d100)
i really like the idea of the entire tzeench legion suffering from a collective psychotic break (perhaps because of the bombing) and going around thinking their underground ruins are a bunker fortress
Jackson Miller
51-70 The hero corrupted nearly an entire sector of planets, causing the populations of them to fall to Chaos. If your warband loathes Chaos, he instead managed to get entire sectors to violently rebel against Imperium rule, throwing them into total anarchy. 01-25 The figure is remembered as a scourge of the Imperium, having ravaged many planets and slaughtering servants of the Emperor aplenty. maybe we just go with the first one and it was him who concerted both the warbands to tzeentch we already know what the home-world is so 2d10 for combat doctrine
Dylan Torres
Rolled 70, 36 = 106 (2d100)
Wyatt Cooper
Rolled 3, 1 = 4 (2d10)
Justin Collins
it was a d10 1 Rip and Tear - The marines revel in the glorious act of ripping and tearing the enemies' guts out in close combat. Woe betide any large enemy, as the marines love to disembowel enemies with huge guts. If a large enemy has no huge guts for the marines to tear out; it only serves to anger them further and seek more enemies with guts to rip and tear out. If your warband's progenitor is the World Eaters and/or your patron god is Khorne, this may be taken automatically. makes sense 3 Armoured Fist - The warband takes cues from the Imperial Guard. Every combat action they participate in is fought with a regiment's worth of armor and mechanized infantry, utterly crushing the opposition under their iron treads. since the tzeentch legion are slightly schizophrenic maybe they don't quite understand that the forge world was pretty much destroyed and world eaters ripping and tearing makes sense 2d100 for special equipment
Benjamin Campbell
Rolled 83, 31 = 114 (2d100)
Gabriel Howard
81-90 Special Armour. makes sense with their dark mechanus allies 26-35 Bestial Companion. what could that be? seeing as they got their shit pushed in by the imperium roll 2 d4 for their status numbers wise
Ian Gray
Rolled 3, 1 = 4 (2d4)
>Bestial Companion Probably those Xenos they were in cahoots with. Survival of the fittest after all.
Jason Rodriguez
i like that idea 2-4 The Warband is strong, but it's forces are spread thin, deployed in a Black Crusade, skirmishing, following their own agendas, etc. 1 The Warband lost a considerable portion of their forces in the Warp or due to mechanical errors (Critical reactor failure, sabotaged drop ships, etc. the former world eaters defiantly outnumber the former black legion lets say that the devolved xenos companions are a tzeentch legion thing and that the special armour is spread out amongst bot warbands we know why the're understrengh and we know who they're allies with and we know who their enemys are so let's recap >loyal forge world made bionics >became obsessed with miniaturising said bionics >decided to edit the human genome to make the body grow said bionics >this turned into tzeentch worship once a lord of change possesses a Nemesis pattern titan and tells them how to grow flesh bionics >rebel against the imperium >get help from two warbands of chaos space marines > former world eaters who worship tzeentch and are total bros with each-other > former black legion who worship tzeentch, brought along some worshipping xenos, have a survival of the fittest mentality, have a mutated breath weapon and take advantage of the forge worlds production capabilities to become accustomed to mechanised warfare > the imperium retaliates > the imperium wins
Joshua Green
cont >the forge world is bombed to shit > however thanks to the lord of change some survive > not many though > some hereteks who now take advantage of their knowledge of mutation >the possesed Nemesis titan > a handful of warmonger titans >some special(heretical) suits of power armour the forge world made for the marines >about half of the former world eaters(531ish) >about a quarter of the former black legion(243ish) >the tzeentch worshipping xenos >all of the fallen forge world skitari's praetorian elites and only the praetorian elites >tzeentch isn't happy about this >the former world eaters skin becomes freakish and malformed >the war-band becomes extremely paranoid about anyone who isn't in the warband >the tzeentch worshipping xenos devolve into beasts and are now kept as war-beasts by the former black legion >the former black legions voices become warped and horrifying and they become slightly schizophrenic and also they can't quite seem to except that the forge world is bombed to shit and still try to employ mechanised warfare >the special suits of armour are dolled out among the remaining space marines >all are now hiding in the ruins of the forge world and are bribing a nearby governor into not scouring the planet for survivors > are now dedicated to getting revenge on the loyal forge world that dedicated the most to the destruction of theirs BLANDIUS II > set up a forward base on a tiny unmarked moon orbiting the gas giant BLANDIUS VI to act like a listening post for planning their convoluted revenge > notice all the inquisitorial buzz around the planet > they also think that it's irregularly regular > they are now convinced that the forge world is hiding something and are now dedicated to finding out the secrets of BLANDIUS II so that they may plan their convoluted revenge around whatever it turns out to be
> there are no secrets of BLANDIUS II however it really is just a lasgun factory
Elijah Edwards
the warbands need a name and so does the forge world but we'll figure that out in the 4th thread it'll have this picture
