I'm very aware of these bottlenecks mate, just read Section 3 of the whitepaper. Not saying I'm an expert, but as a software eng what they are saying makes a lot of sense. It's about redefining the protocols that run the web at the end of the day, and there is proof in Tor and IPFS that looking at the web from a lens of modern protocols if definitely possible; someone just needs to take on the challenge
