I actually wanted -10°C (14°F) I have spent one year in Hokkaido and -10°C is my favorite temperature.

Never been to colder temperatures so I don't know if I would like -20°C or it would be too cold but -10°C was just right.

Ideal temperatures for me is around 12-15°C when its just cool enough to walk around in t-shirt and shorts.

Fuck wearing a coat all the damn time and fuck shoveling snow.

Shoveling snow sucks but I love when it is below freezing point and you never get wet (rain/puddles) or sweaty.

In the cold you don't sweat as much as in a tropical country. in the cold you just open the coat, get some nice dry and cold wind and sweat dries in seconds.

The water on your skin doesn't dry off when its below freezing temperatures, the water just cools down as the wind facilitates faster heat transfer from your body with the environment making you feel colder, but not dryer.

This effect does increase proportionally to wind speed.

Moisture can condense on any surface if humidity is high enough, in cold and hold temperatures.

To condensate it needs to give heat to the body. this is why water tends to condensate in a cold glass. If your body is much hotter than the ambient so it will tend to get drier while moisture will gather in the colder surfaces around.
