No, the apostrophe in T’au is a nice way to tie the race name together. Everything else of theirs has apostrophes.

You can make a named character for a unit that doesn't already have one. Who are they? What's their fluff and what do they do different from the base unit? I'm dying to know.

A new Codex for my army. One that brings back 100 point minimum platoons for troops slots so that people stop using us as fucking CP reserves, and stop people from calling us OP in general.

There are a couple of really good threads on Bolter and Chainsword, you can go there for a more in depth look but my advices are:

Rhino rush is pretty good for an assault army, deep striking units turn 1 is also very useful for us so get some of those to aid your rhinos to get into position as well as to nullify some shooting coming your way.

Dont put too many things on your crusader squads, power swords are the better choice but the difference is not that much. Dont rely on Crusaders too much, they are a troop choice and while better than Tacticals they wont be doing too much in terms of damage, their role is to bully other troop choices off the objectives or tie up stuff.

Ways to run a Crusader squad: 5man with a heavy weapon, 10man with a couple of power weapons, 20man with some upgrades. Tide in general wont reach combat but if its what you want then take Grimaldus and the servitors.

An Eldar Warlock character. Make him decently killy in melee and with some good way of doing psychic damage. Something like an Autarch-ish statline with an AP-2 Dd3 witchblade, 3+/4++ and a Smite modifier dealing 2d3 MWs in 6" or something of the sort. Oh and cast/deny 2.

That's within the usual 8th ed constraints, anyway. If you wanna get a little more creative then also give him a unique psychic power that, say, allows him and nearby psykers to deal d3 MWs on 6s to wound and conveniently leave it open so it works on hemlocks kek

this was my first attempt at a Tzaangor. I have a mini painting competition tomorrow and have 6 hours to paint a mini... It usually takes me a week or two to paint a rubric for example so felt pretty rushed. This was my practise attempt, took me 4 and half hoursish. Any tips to either speed it up or improve the look? I'll be basing it later and if I have time tomorrow will do a quick snowy base for my shaman in the competition.

I'm having some major issues picking a faction as there's a lot that I think look cool but I just can't decide. Generally speaking I like glass canons. Fast and strong but low defense. If it helps at all I love malifaux and my favorite master is 10 thunders Misaki. What faction would be close to that description?
