First post (hopefully):
I want to be Jumpchain's waifu.

What can your guns do?

I only have one special one, and it's a laser that turns things into girls for some reason? The rest are just normal rifles. They were made onboard a biodome space station, but they're normal rifles.

>it's a laser that turns things into girls for some reason?

How does that happen?

Kids Next Door logic, I dunno.

Not much. They mostly just accelerate things down the barrel. Sometimes that's used to hit things with very fast projectiles. Sometimes it's just used to give a speed boost to payloads I need to get to a target very quickly. Honestly, I go with a pretty simple and straightforward conceptual design for my guns.

Hey jumpers, what’d you do in Bloodborne? Take any of the quests/scenarios?

Additional question, did you waifu the Plain Doll or do you have shit taste?

I will never waifu any sort of doll, plain or extravagant. Dolls are scary, and should not be waifued by any sane being.

Isn't there a sherlock movie jump?

Don't be like that, user. They're not going to hurt you.

Yeah, sure, and the children's museum doesn't have a wendigo room. I saw what happened to the last guy who believed your lies, I'm not going to fall for them.

What race or alt form did you choose in Forgotten Realms?
(Since that's about the only thing that jump seems to be good for.)

Each other, mostly. That, and piles of components, and ammunition.

I'm not actually sure how the gun-lifeforms you can apparently make with the gun magic in Enter the Gungeon reproduce, so just to be on the safe side I threw some sorcery and elementalism at the ranch I raise them on. Give it a couple weeks and-hey presto! Those hybrid portal-gravity beam emitter-Mega Man boss-like creatures are ready to unleash on an unsuspecting Cthulhu cult.

I ran away from a lot of flirty Great Ones while simultaneously trying to run a seminar on Comprehending Humans 101 for Great Ones. In hindsight, it MIGHT have been sort of counterproductive.

The Doll is not a waifu. The Doll is a very nice maid, eldritch semi-thoughtform and a naturally talented teaching assistant. It's hard to tell, but I THINK my other dolls like her? The Ravenloft one communicates solely in the entrails of my enemies when I sleep, but I'm pretty sure "cartoon heart drawn with the real heart of a Byrgenwerth scholar around the new doll before being added to the pile" is a compliment.

I was a time dragon, but time dragons look really dorky so I fanwanked my Dovakiin nature subsumed the the time dragon-ness and I had to relearn bits and pieces of being-a-time-dragon in the Thu'uum. Like an otherkin, but actually validated by reality.

...I thought the other dragons would be freaked by that at first, but it turns out there's so many half-dragon things running around they just assumed I was a really freaky sorceror or something.

I seem to recall at least one old jumper being just fine with them. Are you sure you're not a little paranoid? I assure you, nothing is wrong.

>spoiler
>waifuing the Doll
The Doll is too pure for waifuing! TOO PURE!

if only there was somebody who looks like the Doll, but was not made pure

How can i steal/absorb all the Bijuus without killing the Jinjuuriki?

Doll needs lovein too

>cartoon heart drawn with the real heart of a Byrgenwerth scholar around the new doll before being added to the pile
>Ravenloft Doll's face as it sets that up

Surgery and tranquilsers?

The Sherlock Holmes jump

Need dbs jump preview. I can't handle being cold turkey.

>Need dbs jump preview. I can't handle being cold turkey.

Want a warm hug user?

Need dbs jump preview. I can't handle being cold turkey. Je besoin d'aide

>Need dbs jump preview
SPOILER! dbs is complete shit

This picture makes me far more angry than it honestly should.

In context it would be an argument over whether guns and wizards are better, not an argument for gun control.

Reminder that Jiren is an orphan Beyonder from Marvel that somehow ended up in the Dragon Ball setting.

guns or wands*

Has The Mummy jump been removed from the drive or is it hidden in a folder somewhere?

It could be but somehow I doubt it. I have seen lefty gun control wackos saying worse

Should be Mummy Trilogy in Complete with images.

...huh
i like that fanfiction

Are you Worm_user?

>Infernals got updated
Oh that's cool, let's see what's changed...
>E6+ custom charm ban is still there
But why

They even look really similar to him, before manifesting as robots when they get serious. And the red energy blasts they use in this form are really, really similar to Jiren when he gets serious.

>1.Make a E5 charm like what you want.
>2.Use upgrade from isekai on it to make it into an E6.
>3.???
>4.Profit.

Pfft still using isekai when arifureta has a similar power that you can get for free simply by taking the scenario
Irs like you cant into minmaxing

>guns or wands*
Staves my dude

I think if you have enough mana juice to do that then you don't really need the charm in the first place. You could just magick your problems away.

For fuck's sake, it doesn't actually hamper you in any way. We've been over this a million times, practically no Infernal charms are high-Essence, and the few that are you've been given a pass on developing your own. Okay? All your charms upgrade when your Essence raises anyway, the only high-Essence charm you might need to make is a Greater Shintai, and you're allowed to do that. Everything else? Make an Essence 2 charm, it upgrades when you reach Essence 6, it's functionally identical to making an Essence 6 charm only BETTER because you can learn low-Essence charms faster and more easily. THE LIMITATION WORKS IN YOUR FAVOR!

Jumpers and jumpmakers, how do you deal with caster supremacy? How do you help martials catch up?

I dont know, the first upgrade of a thing should cost far less tham subsequent uses of the upgrade ability. Probably still a lot though yeah.

Honestly I dont understand why people are hung up on e6 charms myself. What is so special that you couldnt replace them with any number of magic systems or spells?

Martials catch up in Xianxia and then often blow casters out of the water.

>Thinking that limits are good

>Jumpers and jumpmakers, how do you deal with caster supremacy?
By killing casters?

>How do you help martials catch up?
With really big swords and muscles

Counterpoint: Shadow Slave Extraction upgrades Black Mirror Shintai by a far, far greater margin than any canon E5 upgrade. There's "you can become a copy of someone with an inverted motivation" and then there's "everyone you can see's shadow becomes a doppleganger with an inverted motivation who is loyal to you"

>Canadas'
Triggered.

Among the usual beam/bullet stuff, stripper beam people. Even when they fire bullets.

I grew too many eyes in my brain, Kos'd (or as some say, Kosm'd) it up in the Lumenwood Kin covenant scenario.
Looked for buried treasure and fought a sea monster in the Cursed Island scenario. Fought Cainhurst assassins in the Misty Eastern Lands; hunted down the local version of Mothra. Did an ungodly escort mission with a Great One.
Took the doll so I could keep spending bloodpoints to upgrade my stats after the Hunter's Dream ends.

>implying that caster supremacy isn't the god-created natural order of things and rightly so.

Accept that martials should kneel to their betters, and stay in the barracks/designated martial streets/slave pits/bedroom/kitchens where they belong.

I give them magic. Caster/martial is not a dichotomy based on whether they use magic or not, it's based on whether they're in the thick of fighting or standing back slinging spells. So I make martial arts styles with magic worked into them, lots of self-enhancement and short-range effects so that the martial can fight in their preferred style but at a higher level of power. In other words, lots of weeaboo fightan magic.

Glows a little. Never runs out of bullets. It's bullets behave like silver for the purposes of vulnerabilities and can permanently kill the undead. It also turns into a useless piece of wood if anyone else tries to use it.

>Implying those aren't just muscle wizards

>I dont know, the first upgrade of a thing should cost far less tham subsequent uses of the upgrade ability. Probably still a lot though yeah.

I view it as based on the difficulty of upgrading it and not whether you have used it before.

E.g If you have a person it is relatively easy to upgrade their muscles to the limit of human ability but it slows down a lot when what you are doing is effectively casting permanent magical strength buffs.

>Guns can't make things levitate
Yes they fucking can, you just need enough Dakka to force your bloated hambeast carcass off of the ground

Fair enough, I had forgotten about that charm. But no jumper is ever going to take it, so it's a meaningless point.

I skin them to death on my Khorne anvil for magic weapons.

Thanks for the beta test :^)

>"everyone you can see's shadow becomes a doppleganger with an inverted motivation who is loyal to you"
Pretty sure you can get that in Pact if you are a demon with enough power.

Fug them to submission

You can get it in Exalted, too. It's just making new Essence 6+ charms that's forbidden, not learning canon ones.

How powerful are angelroid weapons?

I have some questions about The Legendary Hero Valeria.

1) Will the permanent effects of legendary hero be reverse when you leave a jump?

2) If you have extra lives, will the effects of Legendary Hero reverse everytime you die?

Well, I used Primordial Psychologist to designate my own variant which comes at an increased cost (including Willpower expenditure) and also they're all made of holy fire since it is a sufficiently canon Charm. I believe Ebs' writeup also lists an upgrade to SWLIHN's healing Charm, but since to my memory it only makes the healies work faster it would fit the >=E5 upgrade model.

Barbatorem, a moderate demon of the 3rd strongest Choir's attack shtick is stabbing things and partitioning them into two deformed, deranged dopplegangers which aren't directly under his control. And having all your opponents' strengths to a T absolutely blows what Ur, a lesser demon of the strongest Choir, can dish out.

In general having that power in Pact would let you stomp virtually anything because of how important compatibility is in a supernatural fight. So no, it's not common at all-I don't even think a Noble would have that power when as written BMS works on anything, even things normally anathema to a demon's basic nature, so long as it isn't more powerful than you.

*overall more powerful

From what I've seen? They seem to hover comfortably around Symphogear levels (laying waste to city blocks, high speed aerial combat etc) although not quite having the friendship powerup to push the moon back in place.

>Well, I used Primordial Psychologist to designate my own variant which comes at an increased cost (including Willpower expenditure) and also they're all made of holy fire since it is a sufficiently canon Charm.
Sure you did. You invested in a charm tree descending from Witness to Darkness instead of bitching and moaning about how it's a trap option that's permanently crippled you. Alright. Well, you're literally the only person in /jc/ to ever do that, so congratulations on being unique.

>permanently crippled you

See, it's only the "permanently" I don't see as a major issue. There's a thing called Heresy Charms Infernals can learn later, which marry the themes of the Yozis and let you get the best of both worlds, which represents the Infernal's supernal transcendence of their patrons' inherent weaknesses. And there are many, many upgrade Charms which work by changing the function of previous Charms. So you don't like Ebs' enforced sun sensitivity? Take Witness to Darkness and Insignificant Embers Intuition, combine them to create Malfeasance Primacy Vigilance and fanwank something. Turn that allergy to direct sunlight into a +1 bonus, in exchange for weeping tears of hellfire! Negate that penalty to Charisma based social attacks so long as you can frame them as being justifiable by the Ebon Dragon's First Excellency!

And nothing stops you from learning further upgrade Charms to THAT Charm, and letting those Charms have their own Essence rating upgrades, and so on and so forth until your evolution towards transcendence turns those weaknesses into strengths. There is literally nothing stopping you in the Infernals manual from overcoming that Charm by simply evolving past it, and in fact The Broken Winged Crane encourages this sort of creative lateral thinking by prophesising the Yozis will be surpassed by their successors.

>See, it's only the "permanently" I don't see as a major issue. Yeah, I know about Heretical charms. I've got the books, obviously, that's how I know the charm trees. I'm just surprised that someone actually put any thought into ways to get around Witness to Darkness instead of just complaining about it.

Oh.

...is it really that uncommon here? I thought the jump made it pretty explicit that arguably moreso than for the other Exalted, for Yozis and Devil-Tigers Charms are a natural extention of your very being rather than coding from a divine superweapon that will leave you should you ever die (assuming no other jumps). Unless like, you're a First Ager and a Neverborn bails your ghostly ass out.

You're right.
The Doll wants a babby, not a husbando.
Be her squid-babby.
Actually, is that possible in the jump? The weird squid-baby transformation that happens to the MC after defeating the Moon Presence, that is.

>Actually, is that possible in the jump?
NuBee ruled that it counts as choosing to stay in the Jump if you ascend.

Speaking of which, what makes the Great Ones what they are? Why are they seen as gods?

>Speaking of which, what makes the Great Ones what they are? Why are they seen as gods?
I think it is telepathy like in Dead Space

>what

It really, really isn't clear. The right kind of blood helps people attune to their level of existence, but the Church isn't 100% sure about it because a Great One chose a destitute Vileblood noble over one of their nuns. To become one you take 3 umbilical cords and then slaughter the Moon Presence, who may or may not be a Great One too. And Rom was apparently formerly human, so it seems Great Ones can make other Great Ones.

>why

This is a lot easier: Because they interact with reality on a level humans struggle with. One attempt at communicating with them resulted in an eldritch invetebrate that shoots miniature exploding stars as an ACCIDENT, and another in wandering abhuman creatures that can generate what looks like a Reality Marble full of shooting stars and space and crap.

They incubate their young in nightmares. There's a formless one that can impregnate people through their blood. And blood from the Great Ones has what looks like miniature planets in it. And it's implied by the narration after the Orphan of Kos bossfight and by the fact Ebrietas was trying to resurrect Rom, that what we think of as death is just another phase of their life cycle for them.

Quite simply put, they're seen as gods because they can do things humans can't in utterly incomprehensible ways.

>Triggered.
KANEDAAAAAAA

TETSUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Show me your starships please.

!!!!

>That picture
There are more guns and munitions (more than 300 million) in the hands of U.S. civilians than if you took all the guns and munitions from literally every military in the world. It is literally impossible to try and retrieve them without the wholesale destruction of the United States. It's not a matter of views, it's not a matter of model, and it is not debatable. The damage is done, and it cannot be fixed.

It's held together by duct tape at this point, but it works.

Forgot the image.

...

You're not wrong, but to be fair neither is that pic.

Will Stellaris being seeing an update at some point? What with the latest expansion and the 2.0 Patch

Unlikely given the maker is an SB native with a pronounced distain for /jc/ who doesn't seem to have been active recently, but not impossible since he did post the jump here after all. Also what's new in the expansions?

Hoe fast are birdy ships?

Have a perusal:

Yeah, yeah. It's just so autistic. It's so devoid of logic. Guns personally scare the hell out of me, but that doesn't mean they're somehow magically peacefully going to go away. You could ban the selling of guns entirely and it really wouldn't make a difference. It's clear what it's preluding. There being so many guns has it's drawbacks and advantages. Mostly drawbacks. The primary advantage being nobody is going to take the United States, ever. Though that could be a drawback if you consider "no surrender" = "death".

May want to message them on sb and ask if they mind a update/dlc jump being made then make it.

So how did you first encounter Jumpchan?

I don't have an SB account or any accounts for that matter

Quite fast. They don't give exact figures but it is implied that they can transverse huge tracks of land almost instantaneously (probably at least the half the diameter of the galaxy? It's hard to say)
I held the door open for her, so she held a Door open for me.

Statically, the chances that I was either sleeping or masturbating makes the most sense. In either case, I'm in bed far too often for me to not have AT LEAST been naked in bed. So, there you go.

Looking for some good sensor arrays. Anyone able to point me to some?

>good sensor arrays
As in radars or communications? Mass Effect has Quantum Entanglement Communication which is point to point with literally no lag. I'd say Mass Effect probably also has better sensors than something like humans in Halo.

I waa thinking more for locating and finding stuff like detecting ships, searching space, finding elements from a distance, scanning, stuff like that

Stargate Atlantis and Star Trek have good sensor tech.

Thanks

Reapers are at least local cluster level of relatively reliable sensor technology (they can find the Normandy just flying about or if they scan things while sitting still). Though if we're going higher levels, Forerunners probably beat them out by miles, and I'm sure there is some anime bullshit somewhere that blows that out by much more.

Aura or psionics?

Aura, get that fightan spirit

Never underestimate the power of punching a motherfucker in the brain with your mind, but Aura/soul stuff is harder to come by in the chain. I'd go with Aura. More useful in the long run, but Psionics if you need the boost now.
