How does your heavily armored, lacking in "teleport/create arms or armor on yourself" PC feel when stripped of weapons and armor?
If they're a girl, how do they then feel about being put in a pretty, frilly dress and shoved out into a ballroom?

somewhat miffed, hes rather fond of his gear- would much rather have it on him
but hes fairly sure he could take most people bare-handed
He's upset because bullets are expensive and hard to come by, and when dressed up in a frilly dress and shoved into a ballroom, he'd blush furiously and try to fend off suitors by insisting they wouldn't be interested in him, though because of the situation he of course can't actually reveal he's a boy. And with his long hair, soft features, and 5'3 height, the only way people are going to find out is if they take untoward liberties...

>There are no dangerous weapons, only dangerous men.
Getting your nice toys taken away can really suck but if you're good with them you should also be good without them. That's what is supposed to separate martials and casters.
As in casters are still as powerful without armor and weapons
Nah the point I was making is you take away the caster's spells, he's probably pretty useless.
Take away the fighter's sword, he's still pretty dangerous.
But that's incorrect, and does not actually follow from what you said
Speaking of, everyone should get the Called ability on their armor, so you can do a henshin sequence when battle begins.
Why can't he reveal that he's a boy?
Well obviously if he's gussied up in a gown and corset and stockings and panties, most likely against his will, there must be a reason he's being passed off as a girl. Can you imagine how humiliating and perverse it must feel to walk around, all those leering eyes focused on your soft skin and gleaming hair, watching your pert little ass bounce as you walk in uncomfortable and imoractical high heels, your poor little fellow rubbing against your soft panties with every step? And then some pervert leans over and groped your ass when you aren't looking, and it feels so wrong, so wrong to submit to such a feral violation in this otherwise formal context.
And without any guns to use to defend yourself, too. Though it would be the perfect excuse if someone's probing fingers snuck up your dress and felt something far too hard and thick between your thighs. "N-no," you might have to reply, "Th-that's my holster. I mean, my pistol! A g-girl needs to defend herself, you know."
Can you imagine that, Veeky Forums?

You know what?
This isn't a gun thread or frogpost or Critical Role thread, so I'm gonna contribute.
>Elf rogue, HackMaster 5e
Completely fine, all he needs is his silver tongue and sharp wit to get out of most situations - and a pretty face doesn't hurt either.
>Elf cleric of the Huntress, also HackMaster 5e
She's really fond of that bow, but otherwise generally confident in her abilities, plus spells.
As for the frilly dress, she'd be unused to it and a little awkward at first, but end up quite liking getting to feel pretty and admired.
>Human Lore Bard D&D 5e
Honestly, she doesn't really use weapons at all to start with, and armor is a necessity of adventuring, but otherwise more of a hindrance.
Plus, she gets to keep her instruments, and that's what makes her dangerous.
Of course she'd be super comfortable in a pretty dress and told to go socialize, that is literally her strongest suit.
>Dwarven Champion, Warhammer Fantasy RP 2nd
Being a weapons-and-armor-autist, he'd be real fucking uncomfortable not having either, although that said he's beastly strong and has talents within unarmed combat and grappling - he once wrestled an ogre mercenary to the ground in a fair fight, making the thing cry uncle.
So he'd probably give out liberal applications of arm-twisting and headbutts until he got his toys back.
How can someone watch a butt bounce in a frilly dress?
god damn stop doing this to me
That would depend on the cut of the dress.
She's a born royal so she fine with it, but she'd rather be adventuring.
In the former, generally relieved because one removes their heavy armour at the end of the day. What, you think she sleeps in that? Not only uncomfortable, but also gross.
Being caught in a combat situation without armour is more of an issue, but given that she's focused on punching people with heavy shit on her hands, even without the heavy shit, she's still good at punching people.
For the latter, she's gonna make a scene and probably upset the upper class, and will probably get asked to leave in under half an hour. Half an hour in which, I would add, she would have raided the buffet and stolen all the silverware.
She's a swordsage, so actually she's pretty good on the dance floor.
>swordsage
You mean a Cha dump class?

"Thats beautiful."
"BUT ALSO IN HIS HANDS AS WELL."
Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart.
A fighter's toys are his swords
A caster's toys are make-believe and wooden phallusae
The fighter can still beat the shit out of your pasty ass with his bare hands.

With enough dexterity and magic, you don't need charisma.
>remove armour
no biggie, can always order another reinforced leather tux
>remove weapons
he's going to find the closest sharp thing and use it to slit yout neck, then get his knives back, all 56 of them
"Careful you don't handle it too rough, it might go off."
>If they're a girl
>Not if they're a boy
I think you'll find we're already considering the possibilities...
A little upset, because a lot of his stuff has sentimental value, but really not that bothered. He's something of a combat improvisationalist anyways.
My character was also handcuffed and she was still able to beat half the inmates in the cell.
Incorrect. A fighter's toys are his muscles.
What about the other half?
Backed off.
DM made a half-joke about jail rape but my group is mostly made of bros.
This is why I play a paladin. Will a roomfull of noble fops have the mental fortitude to save VS Fear? I think not and so the answer as always is Conquering Presence and Thunderous Smite
>Probably pissed, due to the amount of time and effort that went into assembling his equipment. Not to mention the quest into hell that he undertook to reclaim his family's sword
My dwarf has to rely on the reputation of being a mad, unforgiving slayer of friend and foe alike. They say where he goes chaos follows.
He misses his armor, its perfect, his second skin, Death favors smiths. However, being an exiled Duke, he knows the value of formal events and knows that weapons make others uncomfortable and armor makes dancing even more difficult.
Should things go sour, he has powerful people to rely on, other members of the clergy, his 200 apprentices, his loyal dragon wife, along with his own fighting/casting abilities. He has survived all manners of things.
Truth be told, the people he know walks amongst, that he used to rule over, fear his death more than his own wrath, as his allies will be out for blood.
That's called making an attack.
walking around in armor is actually pretty tiresome and not something people generally ever did in history unless they were going into battle or in a position where they might expect to have to fight. Imagine if today you decided to go to the store while wearing full combat armor with ballistic plates, helmet, kevlar, etc. Not only would you get a lot of strange looks but it would weigh a lot and you'd get tired quickly.
>This is bullshit
>Why do I have to wear all of these Kimonos
>I'd do anything to get out of here
>I'll fucking punch that smarmy Crane in his fucking face if he doesn't stop looking at me like that
>I need a drink
>my feet hurt
>I wish I was on the Wall
>this is a waste of time
>I swear I'll throw those half-people who put these things on me off the Wall
Pretty chill. It means he's probably not on the job so his odds of being shot are down considerably.
If it wasn't by his choice, he takes solace in the fact that he has brawn 4 and was the only one who bothered to put points in melee, so he can still choke a bitch if he needs to.
