The best way to make money in magic is to leverage your cash. Wait for people who are down on their luck and use those sweet greenbacks to part them with their cards for much cheaper than they’re worth. Then, take your time and sell them off as singles.

But it's not played in anything except Highlander and the only reason for the original printings price was due to the very short print run it had. Unless you mean it won't go down because it's a Mythic and because the rest of the set is garbage so it'll have to stay at 60-70 just so the market opening the boosters can get their money back due to Bulk 25 being a thing.

Speculators keep prices lower than average. They allocate limited resources best on who needs them and that makes sure there aren't gigantic price swings. Things like Jace, the Mind Sculptor would go from $20 to $500 instead of $75 to $150 if it wasn't for investors willing to jump in and assuade the prices.
Investors are the healthiest thing for MTG. They're even better for MTG than Commander is.
