what are your character's hobbies? aside from murderhoboing

Getting rich(er). Alternatively having no rest because there's a world to save and cry because the party are dumbskulls who won't take equipment into consideration despite your character being 100% geared towards making equipment and sick artifacts.

he doesn't have one after someone pointed out "booze" isn't a hobby but an addiction

drinking until he black out or starts a fight

hes not a very functional man

Ecoterrorism and substance abuse.

Knitting and throat singing

Counting his credits
Comparing his number of credits against the rest of the crew, together
Being a tsundere Noble
Showing the most prestigious person in the system how much better he is.

He is a kind man but not a nice one.
Also space nobles are best nobles.

Convincing people to become Christians. He tried this with a god once he didn't die so good

She’s a seamstress. Comes in handy when most NPCs are zombies in need of new body parts. She also loves to dance, but that’s technically her battle class so it doesn’t really count.

Hiking and hunting.

Steal thing from one character, plant it on someone else. Wait for the fireworks. Alt just swap things around and see how long it takes for someone to notice.

The more straightforward one likes to survey / draw maps. Also blacksmithing in general / work on new armor / weapon designs. Most of the weapons don't work.

murderhoboing

Making golems as life like as possible, yes it's exactly what you're thinking.

He plays Dungeons and Dragons with the party. He's a pretty good GM.

Didn't only one get changed while every other kid essentially got turned into chaos spawn?

...

Drinking, whoring, running establishments that do one or both of those, raising orphans to work at one of those two places, the usual.

As much as I hate to admit it a stupid conversation about classes and Volo's bullshit guide to everything made my character a weeb who watched Anime for an entire week so I guess that's his life now.

Smoking opium.
Mahjong.
Horticulture.
Playing at running a plantation with his family's money, mostly to indulge in the above.

Reading, People-watching, games of chance and skill, and secretly painting.

Making War plans for future Invasions.

Excessive smoking, dream research, writing tiefling smut...

Creating new enchantments. At least it was before the sorcerors council blacklisted him for political reasons. Kind of hard to get the materials for that when no reputable magic user will look you in the eye.

Why tiefling smut? Is it exclusively tiefling smut?

Exclusively. Dwarves, gnomes, and halfings don't appeal to him, and elves and half-humans hit too close to home.

Oh man, I haven't seen that image in like 8 years.

Is ritual scarring for every person you killed counts as a hobby?

He was a tailor before the campaign started. He likes to make high-quality shirts and pants and enter them into the town's weekly auction. The proceeds go into a fund to ensure that fresh flowers are placed on his wife's grave each month even while he is out adventuring.

According to the GM, if current prices and expenditures hold steady, the fund will last for at least the next two centuries.

Dowman a best

He likes to bodybuilding, but also has a small sketchbook and will stop to sketch anything he finds interesting.

Being a loving father and engaging in ethical family bonding.

He chronicles his adventures and the lives of his friends. In excessive detail. The DM is getting annoyed.

Woodworking. Mostly chairs because he can strap it to his backpack and carry it with him and work on it whenever we camp and when it's done he doesn't have to sit on the dirty ground until he sells it.

Is this you?

Chess, reading, martial arts, clergy work.

Normal responsibilities are being a death cleric. Funerals, quarantining ghosts, communing with servitors/ghosts, etc. Running the blacksmithing guild, teaching about 50 apprentices right now, super excited about it, also make the super high end stuff for the local nobility/rich tourists.

For downtime, he's been spending a lot of time with his wife, they just got married and they're trying to have kids. He's one of the older guys in the city (dwarf in a mixed town) so he gets asked for guidance by some of the nobles. The governess of a neighboring town has frequent social events for upper-crust, his favorite is board game tourneys.

Regarding shady shit, he's working with a friend and early religious mentor who makes giant murder-golems to fight off larger threats. The smith has some interesting ideas on incorporating the church's typical magic items into them, along with some ancient dwarven blood ritual.

He's also working with his former employer, a summoner who has the city's nobility by the balls. Their backroom dealings led to massive war profiteering, expanding borders, strong-arming smaller towns into paying tribute, outright extermination of undesirable factions, and high-level experimental magic that would make even the bravest men shudder.

Current two are:
>Art collecting, at least to furnish the mansion.
>Reading historical volumes, particularly autobiographies of adventurers.
>Hitting on human women in that Shakespearean "I'm literally old enough to be your grandfather" kinda way.

>Trying out new types of coffee, or it's equivalent
>Making sure the aesthetics of her gear are up to par, getting dirt out of the invisibility cloak, repainting the runes on her revolver to be vibrant and warning, hounding the knight to take off his damn gear and let her look at it already because it needs repairs
>Tinkering with new ideas for machines
>monologuing to the m̶i̶n̶i̶o̶n̶s other party members

Collecting troubadour boxes, fashion, eating and sex.

Carving stories of the party's adventures onto dragon bones.
Trying (and failing to learn to cook).
Reading all night (he doesn't require sleep and can see in the dark). He also obtained a cursed set of books that he can't destroy, give away, sell, or otherwise get rid of so he's re-read them dozens of times now.

Empire-building.

Her duties keep her very busy, and what little free time she has is spent training to stay sharp.
When no ones looking she may practice her dancing a bit, but only in the UTMOST privacy. No one must ever know.

Making unholy fusions of man, magic and machine.

Measuring shit, telling people not to lie, looking for illusion magic to dispel, and trying to deepen his understanding of universal laws (as far as an INT 9 townie with no education can figure them out). Also board games

Unironically getting as high as elfishly possible on natural entheogenic drugs.

Seeking out cute girls so she can hold hands with them.

In a more serious note, she writes poetry, paints and plays piano.

My character has many hobbies and he's maniaco-depressive, which means he alternates phases of hyperactivity with phases of depression where he broods about dark stuff. His main hobby is probably self-improvement. Apart of that, he reads a lot (philosophy, literature, history...), practices dark arts, kidnaps people to perform magical experiments on them, drinking and gambling with his gang of cut-throats, seducing interesting women, etc.

Studying this "technology" stuff from a crashed starship and designing security systems and non-lethal traps.

well she used to play VRMMOs, but now she's in the VRMMO(?) and that's not really an option.

Negative good sir

What theme is it? Sci-fi? Make a VRMMO -in- the VRMMO! Fantasy? Do the same, but with magic!

Yeah, but now she's living an adventure, no time for escapism, there's stuff to build to adventure better.
