Arthouse pornography is bad.

Poorly done arthouse pornography is the worst.

Requesting source of full gallery.

If you think art porn is bad, you've clearly never seen Night Dreams. It's AMAZING

I don't need surrealism to get off. I need a director who understands that's he's selling sex, who knows how to stitch together hours of takes into a single smooth scene, who understands how to use a mixer and doesn't screw up the sound design, who can create a narrative and not a 'loosely connected dreamscape,' and never ever says something like, "My equation is this: You have ten minutes or less to do what you want, and then you have to let the raincoat crowd have what they paid (or stole) for."

If what you want to do is not porn, don't try and make not-porn and staple it onto porn.

user, a woman literally sucks off a box of cream of wheat. There's a goat leg strap on. It isn't "not-porn stapled onto porn," it's just really weird porn. Maybe it's not the most erotic porno in existence, but it isn't totally unfappable either, and the sheer weirdness of it makes it worth watching.
Also you shouldn't get all high-and-mighty over how people should "JUST MAKE PORN, DAMMIT" and then demand a quality narrative

That quote was from the director of that Larkin Love scene, where he out-and-out said he didn't want to make porn for people to masturbate to, but for his own artistic vision.

Nightdreams is weird. Congrats, so is 90% of porn out there. It's not worthy of congratulations to make something strange that has tits in it. A dude in a costume getting sucked off is not worth watching in and of itself.

And I don't need Shakespeare. I just need something that makes sense, where the director understands the principles of how to make a movie. The Larkin scene makes zero sense because he keeps fucking with the continuity and the sound design is really off-putting. It's not good pornography, or good art. It's shit any way you slice it.

>Congrats, so is 90% of porn out there
Bullshit. Most of it isn't even weird in the "this fetish is strange when you think about it." It's just people fucking. Night Dreams, whether or not you enjoy it, is bizarre enough to be noteworthy

Good job, OP.

This thread is now about Porn in the Sixth World.

Which do you think is more popular with the voyeurism crowd - simsense as a third party or trid?

Simsense gives you emotional feedback, which could help heighten the experience.

Sex in Shadowrun is a great subject in general. How common do you think bioware genitalia is? What's the essence loss for 8"x7" super cock that's as sensitive as a clit?

>8"x7"
Why would you want a nearly square dong?

That's circumference you dolt

The 7" is probably circumference, making the cock's thickness probably more like 2 1/4".

>How common do you think bioware genitalia is?
Doesn't SR4 have genital mods in the core book

I am pretty sure Yamatetsu/EVO got to megacorp status solely on furries' money.

Also in our group it is canon that Bad Dragon is a subsidiary of Saeder-Krupp.

Before you ask, yes.

Is that Larkin Love?

Damn you, youve activated my dick. Posting pornstars a OP image should be a bannable offense

Do you think there are modular cyberdicks? One for every occasion?

Hey, Lofwyr won't say no to easy money.

No it's density.

DENSE DONG IS LONG.

But his dignity is very important to him. He's started more than one fight with another Great who he thought slighted him.

Maybe dragons don't have the same sexual hang ups we do. He could take it as a compliment, even reverence that human women (and men) see his genitals as desirable.

I generally run them Okay, I WOULD run them if my players ever showed interest as being adaptable
They can change in size by up to 30% and the surface can be changed through DNI (smooth, bumpy, ridged, etc.)

I mean... cyber genitals, a literal chrome cock or pussy will run you .25 essence.
Getting your dick and balls replaced via bioware will run you .1 essence. I can't image if you were getting this done to you, you wouldn't request some custom modification (usually enlargement, but hey, shrinking even, if you were an elf trap twink type)
Sorry ladies, replacing your bits costs .3 essence, I suppose due to it all being internal.

that's all from chrome flesh, by the way, and before you ask... I didn't pay a dime for those pdfs.

>Simsense porn is 50 bucks
Why am I supposed to Shadowrun again?

Sup /srg/, classic blunder I see. Have a masterrace vehicle

yo chummers, any eta of the new book to the available storage?

Even though you can ready Agility/2 throwing knives/shuriken per Ready Weapon action, you only actually get to throw 1 of them per Simple Action, right?

Multiple attacks, my man, my dude.

Also, there was some adept power that basically turns a bunch of pens in your hand into a shotgun blast.

Missile mastery. Put it on a maxed out troll and it's actually more powerful than a shotgun

not gallery, movie, "Tits in Trouble" with larkin love and derick peirce

How much of a nigger would I be if I brought back the State of the Art rules from the 3e Shadowrun Companion (I don't remember if there's a later version)?

You would be a trog-tier nigger.

>GM for two hours before suffering intense anxiety and have to call the session early
What the fuck is wrong with me recently

A trogger?

How viable is a Human with 8 Edge and a broad range of low rank skills?

Now I want to see some Shadowrunners making a tasteful porno.

If I'm not mistaken, you'll want to combo that with "power throw" which lets you use your strength for damage vs the 1dv for a pen.

You use lots of pens at once.

1dv per pen
Vast pen
Pen spray everywhere

I think he means you landed on the secret multiplier square for racial injustice.

Vast pen?

You'll rarely have to roll edge 8 times before you get an opportunity to replenish it, so you should be fairly safe. If you are sure you want low skills/attributes, have some way of boosting them when needed. Drugs can be a cheap choice.
Or maybe go Face and Direct all the things.
I'm working on a dude with 9 Edge at the moment. Still finding best optimisation.

>use powder coated lead round balls
>police suspect many sue elf musket sniper as the only logical suspect
>getting away with murder.mp7

What do you guys think about removing trodes from the game? So if you wanted wireless bonuses you need a hole in your head. Your mundane, rigger, decker, probably has a jack anyway so this is mainly affecting awakened. There's already an extra bonus for jacks, but I feel like there should be a bigger difference between those with and without a jack instead of just getting trodes. There's a few other reasons, but it condenses down to making wireless unique to cyberware in order to incentivize trading off magic for wireless/ware and vice versa.

Trodes were a mistake. Not only does it give Awakened ANOTHER bonus, it fucks with the setting.
If two-way mind reading/writing is possible, and can be transmitted at a distance, brain hacking should be a constant threat.
Fuck trodes.

How do you get 9 Edge?

my next session is going to be lots of car rules and combat with no rigger or really a dedicated driver

what are some vehicle combat rules I need to make sure I get right

>Failure Edition

>What's your favorite one?
The glow city one. We were retrieving spent material for power cores. Six hours of gaming later we've caused a second meltdown that's technically impossible thanks to 8 critical glitches in a row and are trying to figure out how many ghouls we can stickytape to ourselves as a temporary rad-shield.

If you were so inclined, how would you put an equivalent of Stands into shadowrun? Some sort of strange specialized/limited spirit summoning with special rules? A kind of weird mystic adept astral projection?

Ally Spirit with Posession, Materialization and a really weird form of Invisibility

After Samsung releases it

Optimally, you'd need to work out something with the GM to let you design the spirit and what powers it has yourself, and getting to control it directly, in exchange for being able to be attacked (and presumably, have spells and some other stuff affect you) through it? That seems like it could be a big pretty big vulnerability, though, the way things work in SR.

Are there any 5e books for modern era'ish firearms?

You could try Gun Heaven.

Channeling.
Pre-errata Nocturna + Lucky, probably.

I want to poke her tummy.

Thank you.

i need help coming up with a metaplot as of right now im going to just rip off roll4it

Well, what kind of thing are you hoping for?

just something to keep them going and interested we've done a few random runs and i feel like im losing them

Use something from their character background. Something their character would be invested in.

only one of them has an actual background written down so ill give that a go

What class is the most useless in Shadowrun?

>class

Just because you faggots call them Archetypes doesn't make them any less like classes.

See, it's stuff like this that makes it so I can never take the arguments against classes seriously. Even pure point buy games reward specialization is a field, so you still end up with "big close combat guy", "Sneaky shooty guy", "magic guy", "Charismatic talky guy" and so on.

Yes it does. Classes are static. If you choose a class, you get exactly those tools. Archetypes are dynamic in that each one and it's implementation are left up to interpretation. Furthermore, some archetypes are based on skillset, while others are based on roles. This inconsistency is part of why no one is quite in agreement over what the standard archetypes are.

But to answer the question you were trying to ask, I'd say probably street sam is the most replaceable, since several other archetypes can fill the combat role.

Classes are linear in their progress. In SR you can build just about anything you want. It just so happens that what people commonly want is the holy trinity of classic RPGs and MMOs: A tanky brickhouse, a glasscannon, and the one who has no sense of right or wrong (and can also do magic).

Your question doesn't make sense because each class/archetype is defined by what role they would play in a run, and it can be assumed that their skills will be applicable to the job they're being hired for. Otherwise they wouldn't have been hired to do it. Or be a shadowrunner.

If a useless character is built in Shadowrun, it's not because of their archetype. It's because the player either failed to make a character of any archetype at all, or the character is on a job they have no business being on.

Mildly clever, somewhat underrated.

Burnout mage and mundane unaugmented detective were pretty useless.

Well if we're talking about the pre-built characters from the books, they were all useless, illegal, or illegal and useless.

Here's something to consider: To what extent are SINless protected under the law?

If a crime is being committed against a SINless by a SINer is it still a crime? If they call 911 will the police be not allowed to respond? Do SINless have any rights at all?

Starting a Knight Errant campaign and I realized this might be a good opportunity for moral dilemmas.

If the law is being enforced by a for-profit corporation, they probably won't care about SINless' problems. It's not like they can sue or complain to the government.

If it's happening in a public space and disturbing the peace, though, then they'll swoop in and make arrests and all that (with the SINless probably getting screwed over in favor of the SINner), but they probably wouldn't care too much about some random SINless hobo in the barrens screaming for the police to save him.

To expand on , private security is just that, private. KE will have contracts with businesses (probably property management companies) as well as private individuals or businesses. They will respond to calls for service based on how high priority the site/ client is and what else is going on.

At best, the client wants to maintain a good reputation and leaves instructions for security to be gentle with small time offenders (shop lifters and SINless) but generally I would expect them to treat SINless a lot like security treats transients.

That about lines up with what I've been hearing thus far. But what about SINer on SINless crime? If it doesn't disrupt the peace can you still get in trouble for it?

I would say yeah. A SINner can't murder or assault a SINless in broad daylight without consequence. The act itself remains illegal. If a SINless made accusations about it after the fact, though, it would most likely fall on deaf ears and the SINless would just end up getting arrested, deported, or whatever for his trouble. If a dead SINless is found, they'll probably get logged at most but there won't be a pressing need to investigate it. If a SINner robs a SINless's store, then the SINless will be more worried about getting the book thrown at them for operating a business without a license and all that.

As a rule, SINless will try to avoid cops anyway because the cops are well within their charter to just arrest them and hold them indefinitely, slap them with a criminal SIN, and so on.

How about this: What is the most useless role? My money is on sniper. They almost never come in handy unless you are just trying to do that one specific thing.

Technomancer. Hands fucking down. Mostly because they barely function as-is.

That's more of an archetype. Fulling the role of hacker, support or rigger (poorly).

they aren't like classes though since class based progression is linear... and progression in this game is non-linear and exists on multiple axes. So, I guess what I'm saying is summed up best by the image.

Dude your session was awesome, don't even sweat it. You're like super creative and stuff, sorry if my character kinda botched shit with those crazy bad rolls.

I'm pretty sure I'm not your GM, the thing in question happened friday night

Hrm. Would you guys say the expanded tradition elements from Forbidden Arcana are matched directly to the tradition? IE are all practitioners of the Elder God tradition Elder God Mages?

Trying to plot out whether I need to expand traditions to have bonuses for them, or whether they should be added as qualities that require the bonus or whatever.

Human + Lucky + Magician + Ally Spirit + Stalwart Ally.
Technically you only have 8 Edge, but you can get an extra 1 Edge from your Ally Spirit that lasts for a day. And then you renew it.

Yes, matched directly.

Maybe give it a 'traits' window? You know, assorted bonuses to dice pools, as well as restrictions?

Can anyone point at an official ruling on wether or not shielding dice work like counterspelling dice? As in, if they're always there and don't need a turn to 'regenerate' the way counterspelling dice do?

No official ruling, but it triggers whenever you declare spell defence. Fun RAW, you can just keep spending Free Actions every initiative pass to add more dice to your counterspelling pool.

Awful RAW, you have to spend a free action at least every Combat Turn to get the dice.
I'm not sup[er concerned or interested in the UI method, I was more looking for an excuse not to have to spam the improvement manager whenever someone changes their tradition. Oh well, next mini project I guess.

sauce?

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't let it stand as RAW, but there you go. Cheers.

>you can just keep spending free actions
does it work with perfect time?

Dun...dun...dun *Pencilman*

If you aren't doing it while using direct neural interface through your lover's datajack to directly experience every thought and feeling they have, then you aren't really doing it

If you were my player, I'd be inclined to tell you to go fuck yourself unless you were doing some sort of constant performance, sort of like a spell defence centering, to go with the quality.

But RAW, yeah, sure.

There's a great quote in Wolf and Raven:
>Schools wouldn't take them, hospitals wouldn't treat them, help centers ignored them.
>There was no way the system was going to investigate the death of someone [without a SIN]. Had he been an orc or an elf or an Amerind, his own folk might have taken an interest in him. Lone Star, however, was a private corporation hired to keep the peace in Seattle, not to clean up after some murderer who got careless when dropping his trash.

SINless on SINless crime and death are not even statistics. That's the whole point of being SINless, you exist entirely outside the system. No need to track what doesn't exist.

The plot of that story is that a group of rich hunters decides to go after the most dangerous game. It resolves when they are confronted and threatened, but not with the law - as the hunters point out, it's not a crime to damage things that don't exist so long as they are not caught in the act of disturbing the peace, SINless have zero value. Wolf and Raven instead threaten to spread the identity of the hunters among the SINless community - because their lives have little value, those people would happily take a Saturday night special and go take a crack at the rich fraggers who are hunting them for sport, and eventually one of them would get through.

Wolf and Raven get turned onto the murder specifically because the cop responsible for clearing away the body knows that there will be no autopsy, investigation, or even official record of the death, but the callousness of the system irks him enough to bring in the protagonists to look at it.

...

Maybe a zero-cost quality that adds the expanded elements? Or a checkbox on the magic tab about whether you're using the FA variant.

They are not, it would make no sense if that were the case.

Because some traditions have multiple, mutually exclusive, subdivisions. And further because the text makes it clear that these are the benefits and bans of *traditional* practitioners of the... well, tradition.

I felt The Sprawl captured the archetypes pretty nicely.

Of course, it lacks magic so it doesn't cover everything, but it covers enough.
