Dorn was the sentry of Terra

Dorn was the sentry of Terra
Magnus was the Golden Throne-warmer
Rowboat the governor
Russ the executioner
Angron the mad dog
Corax the special forces guy

What were the other Primarchs designed for?

horus was the diplomat

Perturabo was the architect

Sanguinius was the qt trap.

Sanguinius the Mascot (that is meant to inpsire the citizens of the Imperium, and also win over her enemies)
Horus the Military Commander
Lion the Backup Emprah
Alpharius/Omegon the Secret Policeman
Lorgar the Histographer and Public Orator
Mortarion the Other Mascot (the one you saw if you are an enemy who didn't get inspired by Angel Boy)
Fulgrim the Artisan
Perturabo the Builder of Paradise
Knorad Kurze the Lawmaker
Ferrus Manus the Fabricator General
Vulkan the Humanitarian

Lion was the general.
Khan was the trailblazer.

What about Lion makes him a better backup Emrah than Rowboat or Horus?

Nobody was as autistic as the Emperor except Lion.

>Angron the mad dog
He was the mad dog because he got some shitty implants shoved in his head. Are you saying the Emperor foresaw this?

I mean pyskers do have that kind of ability, yes?

War hounds were already one of most violent legions along with SW and BA, so even without the implants Angron would still be a mad dog.

So the Primarch of the Legion the Emperor created to be his berserkers, happened to be sent to a planet where they stuck rage inducing implants in his skull?

Sounds a bit convenient. And if Angron had landed on Ultramar instead of Guilliman, he still would've burned the place to the ground?

Morty and Pert both were off the scale when it comes to autism.

I mean, the Primarch of the legion the emperor created to be his night-time terror soldiers wound up on a planet that was perpetually experiencing night and became a super-edgy batman that ruled a planet through terror and ultraviolence.

>Russ the executioner

Basically the 20 Primarchs were like Les Enfants Terribles — 10 got the good shit and 10 got the crap. The Emperor kept the recessive faggots around because they did have some uses, and he fully expected them to rebel. Unfortunately he did not expect """"""learned""""""" Magnus to be such a gullible retard that he would ruin the webway project before the Emps was able to complete it.

>sounds a bit convenient
I guess the chaos gods sent him there on purpose when the primary pods were scattered

Primarch* pods

Makes sense. Angron was a reject Sanguinius, Lorgar was reject Girlyman, Horus was reject Lion, etc.

>And if Angron had landed on Ultramar instead of Guilliman, he still would've burned the place to the ground?

Probably not but would have turned Ultramar into a warrior society and/or started to wage wars of conquest, he would have been an aggressive prick but still able to be rational.

>Horus was reject Lion
>become Warmaster

More specifically, Vulkan was the one trusted with the killswitch if everything about the Imperium was ruined beyond saving (in Vulkan’s opinion, critically, not that of the Emperor).

>That gobbo

You can't fool me, user.

That's because Lion is so shit that his reject is actually great.

The Lion was the tactical genius.
Sanguinius was the backup Emperor.
Fulgrim was intended for likely public relations.
Perturabo was for building and garrison duty.
Russ was for the executioner (allegedly).
Angron we will never really know.

He grew up with the Emperor, whereas Lion grew up feral in a forest with Chaos daemons trying to tempt him. Had they both been given an equal upbringing Lion would utterly wreck Horus in every possible criterion.

>Angron we will never really know
Made to deal with the Tyranids. A Primarch and Legion that will never stop killing as long as there's enemies? Sounds perfect.

Horus was better at strategy, Lion better at tactics. But Lion was also better at most other things when it came down to it. He was just so fucking awful in public he looked like a complete retard.

Time is not a straight arrow
It’s like how slannesh sends daemons to hell its own birth
Or the miracles of the Emperor even though he hasn’t ascended yet

>the citizens of the Imperium, and also win over her enemies
>gendering the Imperium as female
Heresy.

I really like this theory.

What if Angron is made based on the proto-Ork?

This makes sense. The Lion was the better field commander, while Horus was better at organizing and executing an overall campaign.

So was russ only intended to execute primarchs or whatever the E wanted dead?

The Lion and Emprah have a certain take on autism in that they can make normal people do autistic things.
