What was the Emprah's biggest flaw?

What was the Emprah's biggest flaw?

Microdick

But how did he have children then?

His humanity.

parenting skill

Too perfect

Being a commie

Trying to contend with things beyond his control (i.e. the Chaos Gods)

he was a turkroach

This tbqh

the ruinous powers had to give him his babbies

Is Erdogan the Emperor?

he may also be a sensei

His inability to communicate with his children.

thought that religion fed chaos gods, and not emotion

Quite honestly that he's written by Games Workshop employees. I'd like to see a company gain control of 40k and actually use the assets and details of the setting.

He should have been more explicit about not being a god and enforced mandatory atheism to prevent the Empire from devolving into a theocracy.

>mandatory atheism

...

Doing nothing till the Age of Strife- being moses, being Diogenes, and not socializing more, even with given constraints in place due to his monumental position.

Additionally- Not just coming clean at least with dear wing-boy about Daemons, or basically his sons when they ranked up the correct kills, and adopting the holier than Thout attitude, and shitting up culture by injecting various cultures he lived through back into the world, creating a bizzaro fantasy setting- lastly, going for matters of extreme overpopulation and overspending- could you imagine how much dosh the Imperium could save if at least they didn't try to turn everything into a fucking cathedral/Cistene chapel/over the top art project? It all blends into one, becoming bland, let some room to space out that shit for fucks sake- I'd expect at least the Reasonable marines to make worlds with that sort of thing going for it.

Instead, fucker covers his planet in skulls- which is asking for a necromancer incursion at some unlucky point in time.

Ego. He spread himself to thin while assuming he could deal with any problem that initially escapes his notice. In the end it took things going in literally the worst possible direction for him to fall, but it still happened.

Bullshit he was a Hitite actually if you believe in the emperor of mankind explanation his biological father was Abel

I thought he was supposed to be a generic representation of an Indo-European.

Having an extremely set view of what humanity should be and purging everything that didn't fit into it. His actions probably lead to more direct deaths of humans than any other force in the history of mankind.

Unironically autism

Spending too much time on the Throne instead of properly raising his bastard get.

he was a great conquer, a great inventor, and a psychic god. But he was a god awful leader, both as an emperor and as a father.

Ultimately it was his lack of transparency. Things would've gone different if he actually told his Primarchs the dangers of the warp and chaos. Not necessarily better but different. Explaining his reasons behind the Golden Throne, Imperial Webway and Imperial Truth most certainly have caused division among his superhuman generals but at least the Emperor would know to keep an eye on the ones that object rather than have it unexpectedly blow up in his face.

He's really frigging hard to potty re-train which is why he's been stuck on his golden throne for so long.

He didn't fuck Isha when he had the chance.

He was too busy fucking Malcador. Can you blame him?

He had no plan whatsoever to fight against chaos corruption. He should have warned the primarchs of the threat and have inquisitors.

Biggest?
Uh...

Bad writers, as points out.

He did tell them some of the dangers of the Warp. He told them there were some dangerous xenos species that they should avoid. They proceeded to ignore his warning. Could he have told them absolutely everything? Yes. Would they still probably have been idiots? Also yes.

What he really should have done was be less sentimental with Lorgar and terminate him after Monarchia.

>emperor of mankind explanation his biological father was Abel
No it wasnt, I thought the same my first read of MoM aswell, but what it is describing is Dracnyens creation then his father being killed by his uncle is a seperate incident

not hearing out Mangus

mental retardation
also this

Wait, the Emperor was fucking Diogones?

I love him even more.

Didn't he literally do that though? Also that's stupid, because him destroying established religions is what lead to emperor worship being viable, and he destroyed them because he thought they fueled Chaos, which they didn't.

Humans

this

Mandatory atheism is pretty sensible when the known gods are on par with Lovecraftian horrors, and eat belief. Starving the fuckers makes sense strategically.

Pride. His pride in the end blinded him to his own imperfections and the imperfections of his sons.

Quite possibly the worst dad in history

>Mandatory atheism in a universe where the existence of god(s) is verified

>all this Heresy
edags, my sophisticated hearts!

Poor writing. Like said, all he did lore wise was divide humanity, then wait until it could be no more divided. Setting the Emperor's Birth a little before the unification wars would make so much more sense and justify a lot of his faults and hypocrisies.

I mean, he literally did that with Lorgar, and that turned out so fucking well that it led directly to the Horus Heresy and his permanent internment in the Golden Throne, so I'm gonna say you don't know what you're babbling about.

All that genetic science/magic but he couldn't make real life big anime tiddies.

When did he have a chance to fuck Isha?

Except that they feed on emotion.

i think his biggest flaw was that he ended up stuck in a chair for thousands of years

i like emperors that aren't stuck in a chair for thousands of years

He was fucked from the moment the Primarchs got snatched away and got corrupted by chaos. 8e lore confirms that had the primarch Lori next actually finished correctly, it would have set off a chain of events that leads to the downfall of the chaos gods. Instead, fully half of them were corrupted deeply enough to turn against him. He should have just killed the most tainted ones and worked with what he had left. Blamming Angron, Morty, Lorgar, Kurze and Magnus the moment he found them could have prevented the heresy

Threesomes exist, Emps

Arrogance.

I’d rather have that over Emperor that quit and sunder the nation like Sigmar

Honestly, this. He thought he had everything under control right up until the moment he died.

Probably still does.

Sigmar was being granted godhood. According to new fluff his intention was to unite the non-chaos gods to be able to stand up to chaos. Tzeentch saw how fucked the chaos gods would have been if this happened so he tricked Sigmar and trapped him in the vortex. Sigmar is a way better god than the emperor, and if he were given the emperors power and knowledge and placed in charge of the fledging Imperium, he would have been far more successful than the emperor.

A personality that seems like it's been transplanted from CWC

Lost 4ccc

Big Idiot

Oh, I hope it's CGL. They always do such great work.

selling his soul to chaos for magical powers.

It all started when he didn't immediately replace mankind with a species of psychic automata.

Bad at Moderation.

e.g. he goes straight from,
> "the world must not know I exist"
to
> "everyone must swear loyalty to me and I must be explicitly in charge of everything and anyone who won't go along with it must die."

did he ever think to try being like
>"hay I'm to oldest and most knowledgeable human/ish being in existence. keep that in mind when I give you advice. "

>"oh and let's try to be a bit more logical guys.
' not gonna say why. But I the most knowledgeable of all of us am saying religion is really a good idea."

I'll second this

he dead

>if at least they didn't try to turn everything into a fucking cathedral/Cistene chapel/over the top art project?

What would even be the point then?

Lack of empathy

>I don't have the slightest clue what communism is

No female space marines

Try to define communism without describing the society the emperor wanted. Take a look at the lore and you'll see he was a total Marxist-Leninist who was betrayed by his own comrades. First during the Horus Heresy by the traitor legions and then afterwards by the loyalist who twisted his utopian vision into a catholic space nazi dystopian hell hole

good, girls are gross

lack of patiance, didn't understood humans, too secretive, terrible sence of priorities

He was male.

>Faith could be directed
>Faith could create beings in the warp
>Gods feeds on emotions
>Humans produce great amount of faith and emotions by themselves
What is correct answer? Direct faith of entire species to one single entity that is benevolent to founder species and cuts emotional share of alien horrors?
Fuck no.

We don't direct this power source and let it feed enemy while he corrupts half of your high command with it's army. gg no re

>he orchestrated his fall so he could ascend to godhood
I would be pleasantly surprised

His love of his children.

Pride. The Emperor considered himself so perfect that he didn't believe he needed to ever explain himself. He had a plan, and it was ultimately a good plan, but his refusal to tell anyone about the plan or even the elements of the plan related to them meant he had a lot of people confused, pissed off, and otherwise doubting him and his path.

There's dozens and dozens of examples of times when if the Emperor had simply sat down and explained why he was doing something and what that something would result in, the people around him would have both agreed with him and willingly did things he often forced them to do otherwise simply because he couldn't take the time.

The Emperor was fucked from the get go. The one thing that powers the Chaos Gods more than anything is a Cycle of Death

Wrath and Rage and War? Death and Revenge
Plotting, Secrets, and Betrayals? Rebellions, Assassinations, Crumbling Nations, Death
Plagues, Diseases, Parasites? Spreading Infections, Fighting Over Resources, Death
The Prince's particular flavor of gluttony and desire? Caused by delving so deep into addiction and adrenaline that you have to eat and torture living creatures, cycling a taste of death that can never be sated

The very first notable thing the Emperor ever did in his life was watch his Father get murdered and then killed his Uncle in revenge, it was over from there, an act of murder as a young child, a child who already had the greatest power and tool that humanity would ever have, that thousands of talents, leaders, and gurus committed loving and sacrificial suicide to create to save humanity... killed someone in revenge before doing anything more with his life, maybe he did it without malice, but in a sense his justice was just a cycle of bloodshed. He was the greatest man and even the greatest we had to offer settled on killing someone before they reached puberty.

We've been fucked since then, the trick in the beginning was ending the cycle of hate and sin and death, and if the emperor as a fucking child couldn't do it, then nobody could, humanity was fucked from the start.

He didn't want to establish a socialist economy wherein the people own the means of production, and belived in classes and such. He would have had a very different approach were he a ML.

>implying rationalism doesn't inevitably lead to a socialist society run by the people

A lack of empathy for others.

He couldn't really understand the hearts of other humans.

Before he fell to slaanesh, maybe

Couldn't even afford hair transplant for half his children.
