Friends have dragged me into this game, and i'm trying to come up with an army (Chaos, khorne in particular) and I'd like to hear what you think

The army is as follows :
World Eaters
HQ : Daemon Prince with wings
Troops : 5x CSM (1 with Lascannon), 7 Berzerkers
Elites : Helbrute (Fist and Lascannon)
Khorne Daemons :
HQ : Skulltaker, Bloodmaster (Warlord, Crimson Crown)
Troops : 27x Bloodletters, Bloodreaper (Daemonic Icon and Instrument)
Heavy Support : Skull Cannon

My friends usually play at 1000 points

Apologies if this has been asked before, but does anyone have any information regarding the release date of the March FAQ? I'm hoping for some GK/GSC improvements (which is, admittedly, a stretch).

Skull cannon is turbotrash, drop it and shuffle some points around so you can make a battalion and get some CP. That Bloodletter blob all but requires you to pay 2CP right off the bat to deep strike it.

Oh and don't run your Helbrute as fist/las, at that point he's too expensive for his durability. Either go las+missile or double fists.

I have played her but harlies are my main army and have stared down hesprax.
She's over costed. Underpowered and doesn't even come close to a solitaire in erms of scary and damage output.

what is waiting until enemy deploys superheavy or runs out of space trying to avoid putting it down first

If our can get a terminus with line of sight and in range you can get devs and a captain to do the same.
Sit em in some ruins and it's still the same threat range

Fuck FW for putting meltas on it. Lascannons would have made it so much better.

What is being shot at, being moved, unless you are paying those points for 2 full devastator squads to have them sit around to attack a single target, on top of having a captain babysit them.

A terminus is not worth it.
If your opponents brought a super heavy a terminus won't help.
Its no survivable, it's expensive, it's firepower is not. It has odds to kill itself. It is much easier to buff devs.
These are truths not theory's.

which ordo is the least trash if building a fluffy list? So GK with Malleus, Deathwatch with Xenos and SoB with Hereticus. Want to start up a small inquisition force as a secondary army, was gonna go 1 detachment inquisition and 1 detachment their chamber militant.

SoB by far. They're a tier 1 army right now. Chaos soup, Ynnari and Blood Angels are the others.

Take a daemon detatchment with epidemius and then fill dg army with dg daemon princes and spitter pbcs.
