The helmet ok.
But the scythe. Really? Jesus.

Weeb references in weeb faction of weeb game.

It's Kisaragi in disguise, I recognize that ass.

Infinity noob here. I heard about some JSA minis (older sculpts I guess) being smaller than others. What JSA ones are safe to buy to spare me a headache of having different sized minis? Thanks!

The worst offenders are being resculpted in the new army box. Just avoid old Keisotsu.

My friend, you're in luck. The entire JSA range is getting resculpted right now.

Just wait for this to be released later this month.

>every season from now on will have an armswap TAG in an expensive event box
>Overdron with the good weapon options will be one of them
There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate.

>I wonder if Haramaki really will be straight up removed from the game, JSA and all.
More likely they're gonna get resculpted within 2-3 releases so they don't want to piss people off when they buy the old ones and immediately see the new.

>>I wonder if Haramaki really will be straight up removed from the game, JSA and all.
>More likely they're gonna get resculpted within 2-3 releases so they don't want to piss people off when they buy the old ones and immediately see the new.

Probably, and it appears Raiden are being replaced by Ryuken.

To add to it: basically everything that's still in the official Corvus Belli store under Yu Jing is not getting a resculpt any time soon. So Domaru Butai (who are already new), O-Yoroi pilot (also new), Support Pack, Karakuri and O-Yoroi itself.

>not getting excited for superior Nippon dice
>not getting excited for new terrain with design sharp as katana

Baka gaijin desu

Thanks for answers! Can you maybe say, Based on other similar boxes, what is the Army Pack worth in points? In other words can a beginner have a nice play without buying more stuff before learning the rules properly?

It will probably be somewhere between 180-250 points. You can play 150 points pretty fine at that level, and maybe 200 point games decently depending on the exact point break downs. If you have a Warcor or general Infinity veterans in our area, ask them to run you through a modified Red Veil/Ice Storm with JSA units.

It will not be enough for regular 300pts games, but more then enough to learn the rules. No matter the points size, Infinity should be played with at least 10 models which is exactly how many you get in the box.

Considering a few of the units in it are brand new, we don't know. But right away I can tell you the Support Pack is a good expansion, upcoming Keisotsu SWC box will be one too, as well as a Shikami or two. Karakuri are also good, as they can form a Haris and are all Forward Observers.

Things are going to be further previewed on Beasts of War; a lot of stuff about new JSA leaked earlier, but not statblocks.

You got to bare in mind that the difference is like at most 3mm comparing a hunched over model to a standing straight model.

Keisotsu are little lovable gremlin. The most complained about, currently being replaced, but I love them anyways. Kempeitei are in a similar state, but with the hoods it's not as noticeable.

There's an old male Ninja blister which can be found sometimes.

Haramaki are like 1, maybe 2 mm shorter than modern HI, but unfortunately Domaru were mistakenly oversized in their molds so the male Domaru tower over all the Haramaki, but the female ones look ok next to most the Haramaki. It's the starkest difference, and people are speculating they're due for a resculpt. Otherwise, they're among the newer looking of the older HI of Yu Jing, with a lot of their details (wiring, the back of their calves) more closely matching the newer HI that I genuinely believe they're not problematic, and are among the better looking Yu Jing HI.

Oh, and avoid "Neko" Oyama, he's closer in age to the Haramaki, and is still a pretty great sculpt with my favorite instance of a holstered chain rifle, but he's been spotted in some new artwork so he's likely due for a resculpt too.

The Oniwabans (Kitsune and the old blister) are kind of old, but they hold up really well. I like how they're holding the sword better than the new one (or Nakadai from the Outrage box).

Depends on the point costs of the new units, the similar USAriadna pack hovers around 170-ish points

Presuming the rider is around 30-ish points, unit 9 being 20-30 points, and the Daiyoki around 40-55 points the pack likely gets you in the range of 200-250, close to a full 300 point army, but several models shy.

It'll probably around 200-225pts or so. The other Army Pack is closer to 150, but it comes with less stuff and is also a generally less expensive faction.

>can a beginner have a nice play without buying more stuff before learning the rules properly?
Absolutely. In fact I'd recommend maybe not even starting with the whole box and learning the game with fewer units.

If JSA aren't using Raiden, can vanilla keep them?

The Uprising of Japan and its splitting of Yu Jing causes the appearance of the Non-Aligned Armies (NA2), a new faction that brings together the new JSA, as well as the new StarCo Mercenary Companies, the Ikari Company and the Druze Bayram Security. In addition, Infinity Uprising includes all Dire Foes, with new material that reveals how their stories relate to and lead to the Japanese Uprising. After Infinity Uprising, the Infinity universe will never be the same!

From the description of the Uprising book.

Many thanks! JSA here I come!

>StarCo

#triggered

So do these count for the five new Sectorials we're supposedly getting?

>If JSA aren't using Raiden, can vanilla keep them?

Currently unknown but I'm leaning towards "no".
At least the models can be kept as proxies...

Oh man, I hope not. That leaves only one of the long awaited sectorials for this year which will be Invincible Army.

>You got to bare in mind that the difference is like at most 3mm comparing a hunched over model to a standing straight model.
Also chunky weapons with old designs and fugly faces

The forum subsections of NA2 have already been reformatted to include DBS, JSA, StarCo, and Ikari

Both of which are easier to paint than the modern equivalents.

>In addition, Infinity Uprising includes all Dire Foes, with new material
Dire Foes update FINALLY?

>Bipandra costs 1 SWC now

> Bipandra SWC increased from .5 to .75

>Bipandra now costs 1 full SWC and has BS13 and a contender for 5 additional points

...

Yeah, what a benefit. That's why I only play with lumps of metal the size of silhouette templates with unit names written on them. Don't worry, the metal is melted down from 100% Corvus Belli models.

So what am I supposed to expect with the Ikari company? I see Chinese? writing, what is supposed to be in it? New Chinese Mercs? Yuan Yuan?

Is StarCo supposed to be with Kaplans?

You glorious sons of bitches owe me new sides.

Surprised there is no PanO or Nomad PMC.

Some units from vanilla Yu Jing seceding to form another NA2 sectorial.

...

You forgot Bioimmunity and 0 BTS

...

Stop shilling PanO drones you fucks, maybe if you updated the sculpts people would buy them

>Free Company of the Star: More commonly known as Star Company, this motley group of primarily ex-Corregidor soldiers is the premiere Nomad private military company (PMC) and one of the primary competitors of the Foreign Company. Star Company is often featured in advertisements across Nomad ships as a way for anyone to travel the galaxy and reinvent themselves. Their rigid training methods are designed to turn anyone into soldiers, and, thanks to the broad backgrounds of those who join Star Company, the mercenaries have access to almost any skills they might need.

So mostly Nomads.

>Ikari Company: Run by the pragmatic Colonel Ikari, a former intelligence officer serving in the JSA and the StateEmpire Army of Yu Jing, the Ikari Company is based out of an asteroid in the far reaches of Human Edge and engages primarily in corporate security, but has also been frequently accused of piracy (including the CS Aygir freighter incident). Their greatest infamy, however, was achieved during the Helicon Miners’ Revolt. Considered as brilliant as he is ruthless, Colonel Ikari will work for any employer if the price is right and his forces have been involved in some of the most brutal suppressions of worker strikes across the galaxy. Ikari Company has even been used by Yu Jing against ethnic Japanese civilians. Ikari simply doesn’t care, as long he’s getting paid.

So direct enemies to the JSA it would seem. Another type of "war criminals for hire", like the Druze. Definitely not Kaplans.

>Uhahu
>Emily

Fucking called it, kick the Yu Jing a bit more will ya

>Yaoxie Rui Shi (JSA version)
>(JSA version)
what
it's the basic chassis with no MSV2, isn't it

Aaaand here we have the only basic drones worse looking than the PanO dronbots.

Not impressed with the lists. The Bayham was lean, themey and efficient (even PanO drones could be excused because muh Outrage manga), these look like shit thrown together so people buy their stuff. OTOH, we can proxy everything now so whatever.

I'm also curious what Rui Shi JSA version means. I hope it's a downgrade, since Rui Shi is one of YJ's secret best units. If they get a better Rui Shi I'll feel even worse about all this. Though a MSV1/No MSV version of Rui Shi is going to be like... 15 points for a buffable Spitfire, that will still be pretty nice.

Link to the new video?

Corregidor is basically Nomad PMC when they are not defending the nations interests.

Military Orders are practically a PMC already, but only work for PanO.

JSA is one of the "five" new armies this year, the other NA2 armies don't count.

StarCo is Nomad PMC. It was described in the RPG.

So basically Corregidor with a couple units replaced. I guess we will have to wait for the full profiles.

3x mobile brigada link + deadpool + daktari sounds fun, if you can shove in a brawler as well.

>CSU links
>FUCKING ANACONDA LINKS

>Ikari Company
Hmm...

GET IN THE TAG, SCARFACE!

>If we were marketing evil people we would have teased it for weeks and made a trailer
>Carlos in relation to the Druze appearing out of nowhere a few months ago

Can't say if intentional but I love that guy.

So what do you guys think of these news non-aligned armies?
I was expecting some new merc units desu, a bit disappointed.
Also fucking Mexicans resculpt those dronbots

Cordelia's a bitch!

> Resculpting REMs
Oh I'm laffin

young fagots never played Ikari Warriors this company is based on

Maybe it's the normal Rui Shi, but with a useless Monofilament Katana hiking up its points.

So, in the end Emily is starting her own merc business eh. Interesting....

>Duo Anacondas
>Not Duo Geckos
>In ex-Corregidor merc company

God fucking damnit, CARLOOS!

They mostly just seem fluffy and fun to me so far. I'll play around with StarCo since I have most of the models anyway. They aren't counting as the 5 new sectorals this year, we will get a lot of new units as those drop.

Star Company was a thing before Outrage. Emily Probably just works with them. Same with Scarface with the Druze

Rui Shi with MSV1 and a Comb rifle for cheap.

>Anacondas can now be fucking worthless in teams instead of alone
Cool.

Is Tanko replacing Haramaki?

> tfw vanilla YJ player

Well now they can have a specialist tag along with them so they are not completely useless, just mostly.

>Duo Anaconda

For what purpose?

>not having Asuka Kisaragi in the army list

Bostria said they can duo with Brigada. I'm not sure if it's of any use but it can be done.

Stop asking questions and buy more shit.

>Buy shit
>Not just proxy it with Geckos instead

Pleb

Tinbot deflector

>Proxy a S7 model with a S6 model
What did he mean by this?

Look at the fucking list and tell me *anything* in there makes any sense.

Duo with Brigada hacker is kinda cool.

Guess that i'll stick to the HMG one for extra punchy on range and suppresive fire.

What does the Special mean? Can Massacre haris with Riot Grrls?

Do you guys have any ideas about converting a Dakini HMG into a sniper and have it not look silly?

I got one to place some work in Imperial Service (to basically get a rare source of Enhanced Reaction with mimetism on a Multi-Sniper).

My plan was to simply use my Jeweler's saw to trim off the ammo belt, and use some Ad-Mech bits to fill in the gaps or cover the cut, and maybe replace the barrel of the gun arm with a singular one. Another maybe: find some bit that could appropriately work to look like a visor for the Dakini. Do you guys have any other ideas?

Is converting too much effort, should I not bother as the model's hard enough to assembly anyways?

Anaconda are almost as big as Geckos

We don't know yet but an example given in video is Brigada link with Massacre and a Doctor.

Proxy for now. They're going to get resculpted at some point just like Garudas

Anything other than random Hardcase and Duo fucking Anaconda is still make sense.

I can see 'hammer and anvil' scenario with Brawler, Aguaciles, Riot Grrlz and MB.
Senor maybe has somekind of ol'combined link with Jags. Great smoke dispenser.
And praise the lord we got the best Nomad Bots instead of PanO shit.
The only thing that lacks is a proper anti camo capabilities, but at least we still have sensor drones, unlike Ariadna....

Can't have everything, sadly enough.

...

Not where it counts.

Hello, Russia!

>You all meet in a space tavern...

There is a Hungries Den just over there on that asteroid. We will pay you handsomely if you destroy it.

>JSA is one of the "five" new armies this year,
You best be joking.

Bring me 11 livers of Sr. Massacre. Don't worry, he regenerates, but you gotta harvest them quickly before they get too damaged by the absurd concentration of alcohol in his system.

>wants new sculpts for some of the oldest models in the range
>must be Russia
What did he mean by this?

JSA is counted as one. There are 4 still to come was stated. Also stated as "new armies with new minis" whether than means it was mis-stated on "armies" instead of sectorials, who knows

>And praise the lord we got the best Nomad Bots instead of PanO shit.
I wouldn't scoff at a Bulleteer...
And there's no Meteor, which makes me sad.

I've waited them for years. I mean, I know Haqq chickens could probably need one sooner, but still.

>Senor maybe has somekind of ol'combined link with Jags. Great smoke dispenser.
It gets better: he can link with Brigada.

youtu.be/5PVE2xVxYBs?t=19m37s

Click that and judge for yourself.

Shit. Yep.

Haqq chickenbots are awesome, if only the legs stopped breaking.

>Another maybe: find some bit that could appropriately work to look like a visor for the Dakini. Do you guys have any other ideas?
Don't make a visor. It's a robot, so it should be wired into the gun scope instead. IIRC the viral sniper rifle (seldom used so owners of Haqq Spec-Ops might have a spare) has a nice-looking scope.
