Global 3 is used for general shitposting. OP in this thread is not a troll, is not racism, flaming, or off-topic. It's not using any obnoxious memes (cathphrases or something like those FANNYFLUSTERED images), it's not furry or guro, it's not a get, it's not loli.

Global 6 is never applied as a ban, it's always a warn. The "quality" rule is only ever used on posts that are, for example, one-word responses like "lol XD."

Global 10 is used when a deleted post has been re-posted or when someone is spamming a catchphrase across multiple threads or boards. OP is neither. Even if the thread was similar to something else, it's not exactly the same, and there's no indication that it's done maliciously (that is, to spam).

OP is also not off-topic because it is a situation that could potentially arise in a roleplaying game, and it's a topic of discussion that could be turned towards using skills or stealthy escapes or something similar when one's character has no abilities or gear to use. I'm not sure how you get how OP is someone besides Anonymous because this site does not have names or other features that could identify a given user. Thousands of people post here, and ten times that number lurk here.

Just because you don't like the threads doesn't mean they should be deleted. There's no way to tell if the same person is making these threads or not. As I've said, many people post here. This shouldn't be surprising, but I can understand how you think this may not be the case because there are no public statistics.

Consider alternatively:
* Making threads that you would like to see instead. There are about 150 threads posted on a given Wednesday on Veeky Forums. You too can post threads! Nothing is stopping you!
* Post in threads you like rather than threads you don't like. Bump the good threads! Encourage the people who make good threads! Ignore the shit threads and don't give them attention. Don't even post in them with a sage! If nobody posted in the gun or adventure guild threads, they would not be so frequent. There is NOTHING more demoralizing to the type of shitposter you describe than nobody posting in their threads.
* Report threads or posts that break rules. A thread like would not be tolerated on a porn board either, because those boards have well-understood conventions about posting at least 6 images when you start a thread. Otherwise it's just an /r/ or /wsr/ thread.

This is Veeky Forums. It's a board dedicated to the discussion of traditional games, a topic that isn't mainstream and only has modest popularity, which is why our board is slower than that of larger boards like /v/ or /b/. So, when a group decides "Hey, let's push out traditional games discussion!", we're left looking at a force that's not easily dislodged without moderator interference.

It's like when /pol/ decides to invade us, and regardless of how many "good" threads we make, they can make double or triple the shitty threads, and keep them bumped by arguing between themselves, while we walk away for a few hours to find all the good threads from a few hours ago with only a handful of posts, but the shitposting troll threads practically on fire. Even the shittier troll threads will just keep getting bumped every few hours, waiting for their chance to catch fire because the trolls really don't care about how shameless their thread necromancing is.

As wonderful as it would be to be as naive as you are and to hope Veeky Forums would improve just by making good threads and doing our best to keep them bumped, it's an uphill battle against the obsessive neuroticism that afflicts and controls the shitposters who plague us. The only thing that discourages shitposters is them getting banned and their threads deleted.

Basically, those threads were primarily offtopic chatter intermixed with extreme autism flaming and trolling, none of which helps anyone and only persists because it's very easy to say something stupid and just keep saying it regardless of what people say to you.

If it's not a repeatable heuristic, then it's arbitrary, and if it's arbitrary, then it's literally "threads I don't like" which is fine when the moderation agrees with you, but as soon as threads you like get deleted, you'll be upset. If deletion and bans are arbitrary, then we are at the mercy of those with the power, and our only recourse is to pray we agree.
