Infinity General: Exrahminated Edition

Infinity is a 28mm scale futuristic skirmish game by Corvus Belli where we know that the saying "time heals all wounds" is a pleasant white lie, but it is true that every day it does get a little easier.

Is the Shooting Star too much to ask for a May or June model release?

Bugs will have some good company soon.

You can't make me miss Vector Operators though. I won't be tricked.

Yes

I wouldn't get your hopes up my comrade. I have a feeling JSA is going to eat up 1/5 of the new releases for the next couple months, I've resigned myself to not seeing new YJ stuff for a while.

>I've resigned myself to not seeing new YJ stuff for a while.
If Japs can't be used in YJ they should go clog up NA2 release queue. Otherwise it'd be a major dick move. I mean, even compared to the recent ones.

pls more salt

Oh dang, I don't need new releases anyways. THEY WERE HOLDING ME BACK!

Besides Tanko (Dossiered), Neko (Prominent in Artwork), a Keisotsu SWC Box, and maybe but unlikely Karakuri (no new Dossier and they look great otherwise), that's three releases, what else could they possibly want for JSA?

It's not like Tanko are any high priority with that near year wait for the Shikami, and the (nice looking but dwarfed) Haramaki already filling in for the job.

I would also agree that NA2 should be considered a Faction, Japan secedes therefore they should SECEDE from Yu Jing's release schedule.

Plus, we really need that CG SWC box, or at least the KSCD.

I hope NA2 get their own release queue but who knows what Corvus thinks there. Brawlers should come out soon, but JSA doesn't need that much more stuff to come out to be complete, so they could just blitz a few boxes and blisters out over the next couple months and be done with it.

As for YJ, although we've gotten a major shit sandwich here, 2016-17 were very good for us. I think we got new models almost ever month, so I think we will see a little slow down for stuff until Invincible Army is on the horizon, and whether that is 2018 or 2019 is up in the air. Considering Bostria said to expect new ISS stuff, I'm expecting a month where we don't get anything, and then the Celestial Guard SWC box, and then another break month. Also keep in mind that there are three more major releases this year, which will probably be their sole releases for those months.

Is talking about possible releases salt?

I think Tankos would be a higher priority with a Keisotsu box (which is more than likely coming out after the JSA box), but even then Haramaki can proxy them for the time being. Along with that, Bostria did hint at Aragotos being reworked in the future.

Those might be the three releases that are likely to come out. Though I'd want stuff for my PanO as priority (hey, I want my Hexa hacker damn it, or at least another updated Croc Man/Locust with a different loadout).

Neko and Karakuri probably aren't anytime soon. Bostria said they are 'up to N3 standard' in the expanding on the JSA box video and encouraged people to buy them. I think the new things that JSA will get will be a Keisotsu box, Tanko box, Aragoto box (Bostria mentioned this too for a 2018 release), a Kempeitai blister or two, and maybe an alternate sculpt for the Red Veil Ninja if Corvus ever feels like getting around to that.

Im from Acontecimento and i say kill em all!

Im trying to make a mobile brigada fireteam work (pretty unsuccessfully) please tell me how trash the list is and what you would do to make it better.

> tfw no bugs to kill
The hungries resculpt was a mistake, do it again Corvus, AND DO IT RIGHT THIS TIME

Im down with Acon exploding if this
happens.

>BUGS MR RAO, ZILLIONS OF THEM
>IMMA BURNING EM DOWN!

Drop Rudy. It may be difficult, but it's necessary for a good Brigada list. They just don't mix. You need those points for your specialists.

> ANGUS, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO
> Y-YES SIR
> DO IT ANGUS

I really liked the bug like designs of the old CA remotes

>Bostria ... encouraged people to buy them.

Always ignore them when they say shit like this. After the whole "we have no plans to reprint Human Sphere" thing at the beginning of N3, it is clear that they rarely know what they'll be doing in advance (or at least they're never willing to tell fans).

The above could mean a resculpt in less than a year, it could mean a resculpt in five, or it could mean they're just going to quietly drop them from the list and eventually replace them with something else.

They sold the Shikami to Yu Jing players right before announcing they would be losing it. They're either shit at advanced planning or trying to milk as much money out of you as possible (or both).

Unless you like the current Karakuri sculpts and don't have 'em, I'd find a proxy that you like that fits the scale and move on.

One of the very rare cases were a CB model was better before its resculpt

That just seems so sub optimal, like i do want the main focus to be the fire team but the intruder is just so good especially when paired with jaguars smoke and just being able to meme on people with the MSV2

Also the list already has 3 of the 10 models being specialists so im not really sure where the desperate need for them comes from.

It's not sub optimal to drop the Intruder if you're going to do Mobile Brigada shenanigens. Your Mobile Brigadas will want to do all the shooting, and will be eating all your orders up. You don't need the Intruder to shoot guys up if you're bringing a HI team, they're especially there to shoot guys up really hard. It means no MSV2 in your list, but the HI are just plain good at shooting things so an effective BS16 5 burst HMG can hopefully just crush things despite modifiers. If you go up vs. Steel Phalanx or camo spam Ariadna is might not be a good list against those, but against more conventional things your Mobile Brigada list should have your Mobile Brigadas doing the heavy lifting. Drop the Intruder for some more orders and flexibility.

I mean real classy Corregidor specialists who are both very efficient with objectives and have fantastic utility. Tomcat is a good start, but you at least need a Moran as well and preferably a Bandit KHD. Maybe Stempler too for anti camo. That versatile, efficient and cheap support is what keeps Brigada pain trains viable even though the HI itself is expensive and mediocre.

Ladies and Gentlemen. I am newbie from last thread.

I think I'd go for Red Veil set for a beginning, both Space muslims and YJ look very fine for me in terms of aesthetics.

I figured that, if I like the game as it is in RV, I could expand cheaply by buying RV:Beyond and the other Starter for YJ, IS. Is that viable approach?

No, I don't know shit about the game itself, yet, except for basic stuff I learned from RV vidyas.

Yes that's quite viable. Beyond Red Veil is pretty good: the loadouts for Yu Jing are eh but nobody will care if Dao Fei is Spitfire and Guliang is Combi and the Haqq side is great without proxying. ISS + Red Veil + Beyond Red Veil give you a lot of options in YJ. Just stay away from any of the Japanese models for YJ, they're splitting off and won't be available anymore except in their own JSA faction.

Is there a specific faction you want to focus on or you like both enough to keep playing both?

Still it is quite viable, and both Haqq and YJ get good options.

It's not a bad start.

RV/BRV Yu Jing plus the IS starter gets you a fieldable Imperial Service Haris (Hsien plus Zhanying), an ok Celestial Guard Link team core, or a foot in the door for CG+Kuang shi, and a decent chain of command option for the ISS.

The Haqqislam side of it gets you a very viable active Lt, the Permanently on proxy duty Khawarij Rifle+LSG guy, great suppression fire from the Zhayedan and Al Fasid, everyone's favorite unit from Haqqislam (the impersonating Fiday), decent midfield and backline skirmishers, and Ghulam which are the Backbone of Haqqislam.

If you want to go that route I also suggest getting the Dire Foes box with Xi Zhuang and Leila Sharif. There you get the useful Mad Traps, slightly under costed Specialists, and cheerfully performing named characters and an HVT for game objectives.

If you really want to commit to both factions you can do it, but there are other ways to start so don't feel so obliged to get into Red Veil just because it's a convenient package.

After that, usual purchases are remotes boxes and support packs.

I wouldnt suggest a support pack for someone going ISS just yet.

Oh right, yeah, Addendum: Get the Aleph Spec-Ops for a Sophotect Proxy if you want to commit more into ISS.

Yeah, Chandra Spec-Ops or Dactyl engineer make fine Sophotect proxies. The netrods are just a waste unless someone plans to get into ALEPH anytime soon.

Obligatory "what are you working on?" post. I did end up converting the Dakini a couple days ago, and I'm base coating a Warcor.

I've been being a lazy shit but eventually I need to construct 6 models I've got laying around.

New sculpts have way finer detail and better proportions, but it often comes at the cost of originality and Identifiability.
You can file half the new releases under "Crysis tacticool".
Examples : Mobile Briganza, Szalamandra,... I liked the Shirow aesthetics.

I feel the same way about the new Avatar. It's undeniably an amazingly gorgeous model, but I feel it's gone a long way towards making the overall design more generic. The old one is incredibly unique looking, while the new one looks more like a standard TAG took too many steroids. Notably, I dislike how it looks more machine like and less semi-organic, and the change from the spooky mask to a more standard evil grinning monster face.

The CA was hit hard by the redesigns.
The morats went from reasonably alien faces to red humans.

Hey y'all. Got a tournament coming up at the end of March, decided to roll YJ to prove to a buddy that they still got some game to them.

Missions are: Acquisition, Firefight, Transmission Matrix.

I got this locked in as a first list likely to use in Firefight and maybeTransmission Matrix.

Speaking of this, does anyone remember when new stuff generally hits Army?

Given that the new JSA pack drops in April, I'm crossing my fingers that sleepy spaniards don't pull an update yet. I probably should check with my TO. One last ride?

Is it a Limited Insertion Event?

The second list is a bit bad for Firefight, a few too many easily killed specialists, and EO plus CoC can mean that it's possible for your opponent to score killing Lt twice in the same turn, if they realize the TO Camo is probably an EO Hac Tao and that they should go for the surprisingly fragile Pheasant Rank with an AD troop.

Make the Su-Jian the Datatracker in the first one, or maybe Xi Zhuang. I like the first list better overall, a bit of extra defence against AD with the Mad Traps and minelayers, and that extra command token in a 10 order list is useful. I overall like the first list more, although I'm not a fan of Sun Tze. Be careful, he's also a candidate to be temp unavailable.

Usually the week it's starting to ship out. So probably Mid to Early April.

If you have to ask, and it's possible, check with your TO.

Usually within a workday or two of the stats being normally available; if the Japbox hits a con before them you're out of luck.

>check with your TO
I failed Discover and can't find it :(

Well. Shit. Talked to my TO (Warcor) and he said it's likely that we'll have stuff yoinked out.

It's not a Limited Insertion tournament, but I like to run a single combat group, especially with the boost from Season 9 ITS. Said buddy I wanna show off to also thinks YJ can only really be played with 2 Combat Groups chock full of Kuang Shi and Shaolins.

Back to the drawing board.

Reworked the SuJian list:
EwBgjAPgzCIYxfGFj8wZuGFKfABAbQCoHsCuATgHYCGAtgKbEAu6AMgJYDOdAxMAHRgC6EoAUjAAWKAICs4AQEIwYIVGEDhAdgAcMuQqXC1IGeOACVANhMDgKlfNlGwUcRbXDH08Y+cqBUGGNmP7DWEATiVpKGChEyNxEz8oO3cJcTCTeVCvBxgBAAE8oA==

Struggling to think of a good secondary list. Playing around with the idea of double Yan Huos as they'd be tough to kill, but it leaves me with far less infiltrate than I'm used to playing with. Damn. Guess Japanese were good for something after all :(

Daofei tends to fill the gap left by Shinobu decently. They start further back but the Spitfire doesn't care that much. It will require some fidgeting in the list though, since they cost more SWC.

>Yu-jing players think IA will come out this year to fill out their missing sectorial slot.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

They dont give a fuck about you. They want your fucking money.

Japs helped a lot, there wasn't a lot that actually sucked in vanilla. I find that most players seem to have only a couple of JSA units they used much, but the thing is that those units were always different. One person got a lot of use out of Oniwaban and Aragoto, someone else will miss Raiden and Shikami, maybe another used Keisotsu a lot, and most people who have used Karakuri love Karakuri. On an individual level it seems like only a few Japs see play in vanilla, but really it's a whole lot of them.

>want my money
>don't release a sectorial I'd empty my wallet for
>???
>profit

Behold, the true goals of Corvus Belli.

At least you got quite a few last year. Vedic didn't really get anything ...

Don't worry my man, I'm sure another round of Phalanx resculpts and profiles are inbound soon.

Just bought both Shikami sculpts too :/

That kind of sucks man, but I guess you can use it as a Hac Tao or Daofei proxy. I was tempted by the Shikami too but resisted, and now I'm glad for that.

I don't dislike the new Gakis. They're cool but not bug or alien enough for me. The older ones look cooler even though they have a penis head

Yup, same boat here, love the sculpts, wanted them for my Yu Jing, but luckily heard JSA uprising was happening so held off just in case.

since I am hopelessly stupid can someone put together a MAF list that doesn't include daturazi and I'll just buy whatever models the list needs?

>even though
I think you mean 'because'

Why the fuck wouldn't you want Daturazi? They are amazing.

>starter
>hungries
>probably anyat and/or a rasyat
>add beatstick haris, kornak+sogarat is very good and you have a soggy already
>add support like zerats, doc worm, yaogat sniper, etc

>Implying they dont want you to fill out the slots taken up by former japanese troops in your vanilla army
>Or yujing shit in your jap one

Thank you people, for advice. As for what I plan to do with these factions, I do not know really, especially that I have not played the game at all. It all depends on my reception of the game. For the very beginning I'd try more of YJ, then, if I like it, try to probably either expand both at the same time, or focus on YJ, probably awaiting occassion to get on board with Ariadna, or Aleph (tooha has few nice looking units too) in a long term. As said before, depends on how much will I like it, how much resources I am going to have, and how will I be about other games I want to get into dearly.

Well I threw this together in 15 minutes while eating dinner, it's playable maybe and I kept a mind on keeping purchases down. To run it you'll need
> Morat Starter
> Morat Vanguard Infantry Box
> Zerat Double Blister
> Combined Army Support Pack
> Combined Army Drone Remotes Box

I'm sure people that play more Combined and/or Morats can shit all over it, but it's playable with just a few purchases.

Well just take it one step at a time then. Picking up Red Veil gives you a perfectly playable little game out of the box. Just run through the missions with a friend, and you can even play a couple full 7 models on each side games after that and probably still have lots of fun. After that you can decide what you want, though the immediate expansion plan of Beyond Red Veil and the ISS starter are solid. You could even pair the new ISS starter with the new Hassassins starter if you wanted to keep expanding both Haqq and YJ.

I was so sad with the new direction they took. I love the idea of CA being a wholly alien experience

I found new Morats to look alien enough for me. The Remotes are a tragedy tho

Fuckin siesta

Lucky bastards

HAssasin starter is good expansion for Haqq too, in combo with RV/B?

They're brand new sculpts so they will fit in along with everyone else. I'm no Haqq player but I'd say it's decent if you want to keep doing the mirror thing between the two. The Ayyar is a very crazy but powerful HI with Holoprojectors. Muyibs are good generalists that shine in a fireteam, but they have fine uses in a vanilla list as well. Farzans are nice camo infiltrators that are also Haqqislam's only Chain of Command unit. Daylami are super cheap annoying irregular dudes who you use to annoy your opponent with. I would say it's a decent expansion, and the other Haqqislam starter (Qapu Khalqi) is a little dated.

How playable do you want it? What's your budget? What gets your genitals engorged? You don't like Daturazi. What do you like? You want to smash? Sneak? Sneaky smash?

dirty tricks like smoke, msv, hacking, super jump, etc, combined with aggresive shooting over aggressive cc. I stupidly bought the yaogat squad box and then found out the only good yaogat isn't the one in the squad box. As far as aesthetics I like most of the range but prefer big guns over melee

currently working on this bad boy.

>Holoprojectors

This. Plus specialist operative & free agent

Ayyar is a perfectly balanced barrel of fun

I hear yah on the Quapu. It bugs me that they give you 3 Hafza and expect you to pull off shenanigans.

Fuckin beautiful

been working on keeping to a certain theme

Holy shit that's godlike. I love the contrast of Reaper. Does his Haris act as a between with him and his Avatar

Looking p good.

You're playing Morats though.

Heeeeere's something to try if you want SUPERJUMP AGGRO.

GwBgTAPgzCIRBGApAVigDiQgnGKSBCBAdlRQBYttjtD8KQqpkD7zGcp9XV2mw6vDtigCeDfoTACUKWjnTBCKXgJzkVBMEuzBMUFOmQABBCtlrqpLclmYFlG2XvZ0jnGSUKBx40A=

>Daylami are super cheap annoying irregular dudes who you use to annoy your opponent with

You don't need to tell me that. Last time I decided to debut my Jotum. I faced 3 or 4 Panzerfaust Daylami...

D-did he make it?

>Ayyar is a perfectly balanced
REEEEEE

>dirty tricks like smoke, msv
That is kind of the Daturazis bread and butter

>hacking
Wrong faction kido hacking is Morats is not good. Aside from Bit & Kiss. The repeater network is bad, They don't have any WIP 14 hackers, and they have not marker states to keep the hackers safe.

>Super jump
They have that but it is not super slow (4-2) dudes. Aside from the Krakot that can get it from Meta Chem.

>I stupidly bought the yaogat squad box and then found out the only good yaogat isn't the one in the squad box
That is were you are wrong kiddo. First off you can just use any of those Yaogats at a sniper proxy. Also a Yaogat Haris is pretty good for quite a few things. Because of shooting with 2 dice with the sniper in ARO or 3 in the active turn. Or even shooting double Panzerfaust at something. All with MSV 2. You did fine.

So now what do you get with this faction. Some super heavy hitters that don't care about LoL or being isolated. Cheep as hell orders like you can make a Hungries link team to feed you 5 orders for 37 points. Also you have 3 8-9 remotes to also feed you orders. This is on top of having some really good Haris options. In fact most of my issue with my Morats is I want to make so many link teams I don't have the slots for them. Best part is you get some super good characters to go in those links.

It is a pretty good faction in the way you can build 5 list and have them be almost nothing alike.

I can't really build you a list with out knowing what you are willing to spend and if there are any other models you don't like. Also if you even own anything else.

Using what this user said to buy you can also make this list. By just saying one one the Zerats is Anyat and using the raktorak as a normal morat.

I am not going to say it is great but it is a good place to start and grow.

Also this video might help
youtube.com/watch?v=0DuKXxPceAI

Recently got an airbrush so I'm priming some stuff.

You might want to consider zenithal highlight.

ok stupid question, but while WIP checks are typically a lot easier to pass than PH-3 checks, wouldn't the range on medikits make paramedics still pretty useful?

depends on if the guy getting up would be "nice to have" or critical to your plan

MAF can get some isolated hacking action going, it's just not a major feature. Zerat is an infiltrating specialist and the carbonite+d charge combo can be nice, though them not having stealth is some horseshit. Rodok AHD is solid in a link. Vannie hacker is cheap enough supportware for a Q Drone or Sogarat, so it's not too bad either.
The lack of repeater network can work to your advantage since that means enemy KHDs have to specifically hunt down your dudes.

Not really. Anything worth fixing is generally not something you want to flip a coin over (at best, most troops are 45%). It comes up more in MAF than some other factions with the generally decent PH, but Suryats have theirs uncharacteristically low and Sogarats can do it better by themselves. Maybe if you're near an unconscious Dat or Rasyat?

>Ghazi throws smoke over Jotum
>Daylami position themselves to have him in LoF after smoke clears
FUCKING GHAZI

Most of the time a Doc with a helper bot does the job better.

The other downside is if you want to use that medkit you have to hit with it first. So it is 2 points of failure vs 1 with a reroll on a doctor. The odds are stacked so against the Paramedic that it is just not worth it.

Not trying to shit post, but I also to claim to be an oracle on CB lore. Isn't morat lack of stealth explained by their super aggresion, that they yell and shout all the time, shot in the air if they don't have targets etc A bit like AoS oruks.

Can they take the red fury krakot renegade? He is very good super jump humanoid missle.

the yaogat haris link sounds pretty need, but is it something where you would use both a core and haris link in the same list (like say core vanguards and haris yaogats) or is it one or the other?

>Isn't morat lack of stealth explained by their super aggresion
That's the lack of camo and other marker states. The stealth skill itself is already on the far less stealthy Daturazi, and Zerats are specifically stated to be sneakier than most Morats.

>He is very good super jump humanoid missle.
Only if he lucks out. I've been burned by 1 ARM + bioimmunity too many times to trust those fuckers, they're kind of wildcards depending on what metachem skills they get.

That's fair I never really thouhgt of the isolated stuff because 9 out of 10 times is it just easier to kill it then leave it up to ARO you or still maybe be useful to the other player.

But you still have to get them there which is a bit of an ask. Since Rodoks are 4-2 and more then likely want to be shooting. The no Marker or stealth on the Zerat is a huge killer for me. I lost track of the amount of times I needed her to not die to only have the other player just KHD her off the board where she was safe from shooting.

Supportware is fine and all. But I never find my self taking the Q-drone or taking a Sogarat over Suryat with a tin bot.

For links you can only have

1 Core
Any number of Duos
1 Haris
Any number of Enomotarchos or Triads (Only used in Alpha and Tohaa)

Active on the table at once. Now there is nothing stopping you from bringing 2 core links worth of dudes and when one brakes just making a new one with other group.

But with Morats most of the time you are going to be using both your 1 Core and your 1 Haris both on the table at the same time. Since it is part of what makes the faction good.

The other point I was trying to make is you have like 3-4 viable core links and 2-3 viable Haris links. So some times you wish you could you could run 2 cores at the same time or a core and 2 Haris at the same time but the rules just don't allow it.

Yes that can take up 3 of them in fact.

It is a 25% to get some boosted type of movement. Even the Climbing plus is pretty good with 6-4 and Forward Deployment.

Oh, by isolated hacker I meant a solo hacker who doesn't use repeaters. Though oblivion can be a very good ARO, it completely fucks the enemy plan if you manage it against a valuable active turn unit.

The proliferation of KHDs depends a lot on faction. I'd definitely think twice about bringing Zerat AHD against ISS since Ninjas and Kanren are so good at fucking her face, but other armies like Haqq, CA and especially PanO are less able to deal with her.
I tend to go with 1 FO and 1 AHD anyway, but if it's just the one it's usually FO.

>I never find my self taking the Q-drone
You should desu, those things are some fucked up shit. Soggy is great too when you can squeeze 3-4 wounds out of him with the automedikit, I have the opposite problem where I very rarely use Suryats.

>I'd definitely think twice about bringing Zerat AHD against ISS since Ninjas and Kanren are so good at fucking her face,
Who should I speak to about seeing graphic evidence of this?

ok very last shitty list I'm going to shit up the thread with ever again I hope. I'll probably just buy the similar list suggested above that had the HMG HI instead since if there is one thing I've learned out of all of this, it is that anything I think might be OK is actually wrong. I don't know how I could be wrong at literally every turn, but that's how its been so far with this game.

It's totally functional. Oznats are still thoroughly mediocre and I wouldn't normally put so much stuff in a Vanguard link, but it's not a list likely to lose you many games. Honestly I wouldn't say it's even much worse than the list the other user gave you. Your second group in particular is a lot better, those Ikadrons and their orders give Worm and Oznat a lot more room to do their jobs.

"If you" that is my issue with the unit. Because AHD in my game have been pretty not great do to a pretty limited target pool of only REM's and HIs since she will lose most fights to a real hacker. There is also nothing to protect her moving up the field to do this so she is a sitting duck.

I do use the Q-drone just in Onyx. In Morats is a good throw away fast attack unit. But I tend to find there is some way more fucked up shit you can do with other stuff in the faction.

As for the Soggy for he he just kind of is too pricey and does not fit in a link as nice as Suryat with a Raktorak for pushing buttons and having a fire shotgun and Kornak well for being Kornak. All of which don't need a hacker to keep them safe with fairy dust from any good hacker since they are BTS 3 and don't come with a tinbot for 1 point. Sure the Sogarat is good when he can have 3-4 wounds but you are making you list less efficient to do that which all on a chance.

Ya there is nothing wrong with this at all. I think you could trim some points on having 3 different hackers and you could maybe fit something else in. But that is just my opinion on it. Based on how I like to play. The Onzat is not the best point for point with what you are trying to get it to do but it is fine.

Your groups are a lot better they serve defined rolls and have a clear idea of what you want them to do with also having the orders to do it. The links have the tools they need to do things they need to do and you have back ups if something goes bad.

But this is way better. Like I said last thread you can only learn from asking. But you got a lot good advice from a few simple questions. Don't beat yourself up. Game is hard and weird.

Nice work tho.

Offensive hackers are always completely at the mercy of the enemy list, that's just how they are. Not just her, every KHD or AHD in every faction deals with the same issue. But if you've got a Swiss Guard in suppressive fire in a really inconvenient location, then having access to an assault hacker can completely change the game. Putting people at -9 with your own supp fire is pretty good too, that is one thing I miss with the FO's shotgun.

Q drone is still a TR bot, it's there for more than just fast attack. Area denial, yo. There's value in a good unlinked defensive unit, stops long ranged templates from having too much fun.

Suryat haris vs Sogarat haris is pretty much whether you want a relatively cheap specialist in your link or a very hard to kill firebase. I find Raktorak dies too easy for his price and lack of utility, and where I want my guns doesn't always line up with where I want my specialists. Both have their merits though.

Why not switch Zerat with the R Drone?
