Heard that in the most recent codexes that the main reason the chapters without knowledge of their primarch could use Primaris was because the Ordo Malleus moved some connections (and the whole 'Cawl wants to use traitor geneseed to made even more Primaris' issue)

For more unknown chapters and other chapters way out on the edge, they received the methods to make small amounts of primaris geneseed from scratch to get the ball rolling. They did not receive immediate reinforcements from the Unnumbered Sons. This was the explanation given by Robbie MacNiven over how chapters like the Carcharodons could suddenly seem to have Primaris.

Cawl doesn't remember giving the Blood Ravens any Primaris, and it's not recorded anywhere when, where or how the giving happened.

Geneseed is a roundabout way for not mentioning jizz in a kids toy line. I guess when 40k started, most people don't know too much about DNA. You can get DNA from hair strands, cheek swabs and blood too.

The geneseed is NOT the marine's DNA, though. It's the DNA of the implanted organs.

Something that I wonder about the Custodes. Because of their closeness to the Emperor, their awareness of Imperial Truth, and various other aspects of life that 99.9% of the rest of the Imperium is clueless about, do the Custodes have the same "reverence" for mechanical stuff that the rest of the Imperium does? Do they believe in machine spirits, etc.?
