I captured the feel perfectly fine by home brewing Savage Worlds.

That said, let's get some things out of the way:
>Sokka is objectively the best character
>Toph is fine but her fans are annoying
>The Azula Internet Defense Force needs to go and stay go
>Korra sucks but people get way too emotional when saying so
>Pic related is best girl

I mean, Legends of the Wulin would work well for it, it's just a matter of putting the work in to actually make LotW work properly, since the system really needed another editing pass and some more testing. Once you get past that, it's great, but it's a bit of a bugger to get to that point.

There's nothing wrong with Azula

Korra is a victim of bad writers. Leave her alone. She's got a lot of potential. Also she's hot. Also she's my waifu.

Leave Korra alone!

>Pic related
Good taste

>Azula
Bad taste

>Korra
Bad taste

>Korra is a victim of bad writers
>She's got a lot of potential.

These are both unironically true

>Also she's hot
So is this

Toph is best girl. Iroh was a better character than Sokka.

Stop making this thread

I agree

Make me, faget

>He doesn't know that emotionally damaged girls are the best kind of girls

Yeah nah. You can fap to your savior fantasies all you like, but I'll take a normal girl who dies over a psychopath who's liable to burn me with her hair straightener any day.

I dated a 'damaged girl' for five years, would not recommend

This guy gets it

Hero system could do it.

Nobody said anything about dating.

Look if you want to keep posting this thread I’m gonna keep dumping Legend of the Elements. Whenever I wake up anyway.

I'ma break down the waifus for y'all now

>Katara
+Sweet and pretty
+Unquestionably heroic
-Absolutely will nag you over everything

Verdict: Go for it, but only if you're not the type to take things personally

>Azula
+Black hair and amber eyes
+Career-driven
-Murderous psychopath

Verdict: Avoid

>Suki
+Athletic
+Courageous
+Canonically puts out
-Difficult to impress

Verdict: Could do worse

>Korra
+Stone cold fox
+Perfect rack
+The Avatar
+Blue eyes
-Argumentetive; will show up at your job and trash you desk if you argued the night before
-The kind of girl the Offspring's "Self Esteem" is about

Verdict: Avoid at all costs

>Asami
+Pretty green eyes
+Intelligent
+Rich
-Daddy issues
-Basic; her favorite movie is probably the Notebook or something
-Closet gay

Verdict: safe but boring

>Yue
+Pretty
+Distinct looks
+Actual princess
+Thinks goofy sarcastic humor is funny
+Likes authentic guys
-Dead

Verdict: that's rough, buddy.

So by all this logic, Suki is best girl?

Well yeah. I'd rate Yue higher but she's kill.

t. Sokka

That sucks buddy

I think that importing these trite characters into FATAL is what will finally make me happy.

Use Fate, & the "Elemental Storm" magic system that they have on the website. Now fuck off

Use Exalted already.

What sort of homebrew stuff did you utilize, anything overly specific or more just working within the standard ruleset?

Fate's been out for years, and Fate of the Flying Temple is already halfway this.

>Inb4 >implying that's a good system

Basically, each Bending form was its own Background Edge with thematically appropriate requirements (higher Spirit for water, etc).

Attack rolls with Bending were simply Fighting rolls, but with a 30 yard maximum range. This made Bending very strong, obviously, but it also meant a normie with high Fighting--and therefore high Parry--could hold his own just like in the show.

Each Bending type had its own damage roll. I don't have the writeup with my rules but IIRC Fire was Fighting+d8, Air was Athletics+d6 Non-lethal Damage, Water was Spirit+d6, and Earth was Stength+d6.

Each of the Bending forms had special abilities as well. Fire's was the highest base damage. Water could heal. Earth gave a flat bonus to Toughness. Airbenders could roll Athletics for otherwise impossible maneauvers like what we saw Aang do.

I never once had any balance issues in my games with these rules, though I don't know if it's because they're well-thought-out or if my players just aren't familiar enough with the system to abuse them.
