Thread Question >What do you hope to see from a likely Slaanesh release at the end of the year? Are you satisfied with the direction that Khorne, Tzeentch, and Nurgle all went? What sort of gimmicks do you expect to see?
>What sort of gimmicks do you expect to see? cult of high speed with mortal spear chariots to complement the daemons scythe chariots also the theme of the inhilus freaks to find ramifications in familiars and lesser heroes, like an ugly deformed magician of the senses whose sole purpose in the warband is to provide entertaining illusionism and lead to slaanesh or whatever else its higher senses can smell of interesting

I don't really like Dorfs, but I dig thee. I want one so I can make a little Vermintide squad.
Have them deep strike. Lore excuse, say they parachute in on their gyrocoters.

Anyone got the full kit instructions for the OK/Beastclaw Stonehorn kit? The Get Started box contains the full four-build kit but only has instructions for one of the builds.
Hi /aosg/, quick rule question: how do those stormhost battalions work? Do I need to pay the points both for the battalions that make them up, or only for stormhost battalion? Who gets the special rules, only what's inside the battalion or any stormcast I'd take?
Jacob Cooper
You need to pay points for both and only the units of the battalions get the special rules.
Cameron James
I somehow ended up with 56 witches because I got really lucky with old metals. If I can find 4 more for an even 60, great. Otherwise, I think 50 is fine. That gives me 30-10-10 with the two 10s having shields.
The issue I'm having is how to support it because I want everything. So far, I only have one box of birbs and sneks each, but I do have 15 warlocks and plenty of characters.
Luke Collins
So a list like this could work, with the units outside the Hammerstrike only gaining the bonuses of the Celestial Vindicators, right?
Allegiance: Stormcast Eternals Lord-Aquilor (200) - General Lord-Veritant (120) - Prayer: Lightning Chariot 5 x Vanguard-Hunters (140) 5 x Liberators (100) - Warblade & Shield - 1x Grandblades 5 x Liberators (100) - Warblade & Shield - 1x Grandblades 3 x Prosecutors with Stormcall Javelins (100) 5 x Paladin Protectors (200) 5 x Paladin Protectors (200) 5 x Paladin Protectors (200) 3 x Vanguard-Palladors (220) Celestial Vindicators Warrior Chamber (180) Hammerstrike Force (220)
Total: 1980 / 2000

Should I stick with my Dispossessed or should I buy into Stormcast? I can't stand being terrible in every way.
Isaiah Campbell
>Reading the Realmgate war series >Really like all of the Stormcasts MCs >Think their models are shit and so are thier playstyle Anyone else have this disconnect between fluff and crunch?
Without knowing what units are in which battalion. Yes. Yes, I think so.
Ryder Stewart
I can't tell if it's great or hideous.
Logan Clark
Kind of on a painting hiatus, I need to put together some more wolves to make a nice pack for my death dudes
Levi Sanchez
Because Kirby hates you and your legacy army. Play soup, faggot.
Liam Sanchez
Is it possible to put together the cauldron of blood, leaving the stairs unglued as a sub-assembly? That seems to be the part which blocks the most details.
Nagash is pretty beastly, I've wondered how well he would fair with nothing but morghasts as support

Yea. You can attach the front stair housing to the platform without glue. The only issue is the cauldron, which can be attached without glue, but will need some help staying raised.
Hunter Long
So today (or tuesday's ultra early morning for those living in the civilized world) is GAMA 2018. GW is coming there. Last year they introduced Kharadron Overlords, Shadespire and the trimmed down version of the starter set.
What do you guys expect to see this year?
David Gutierrez
I can't see the cauldron being an issue as long as the stairs aren't glued.
Angel Ortiz
Kirby left the company seven months ago.
Cooper Price
More Stormcast
Ayden Hill
His spirit remains.
Juan Hernandez
What legacy armies would you think work best with Stormcast?
Jordan Ramirez
As someone completely ignorant of what a CEO actually does day to day, how much impact would Kirby have actually had on releases? Would he essentially have just told the Jes’ to “end the old setting, make a new one, keep old models around, but focus on fresh exciting ranges”? Or does he actually say “Riptides sell good, make them strong”
Henry Gonzalez
Bretonnia and everyone with cheap battlelines.
Xavier Foster
Yes. Doubly so because he had merret, and he was the guy in charge of the IPs. Thankfullly both are long gone.
No, fuck off.
Leo Cooper
You're posting in the thread about one of his victims right now, nimrod.
Joseph Howard
Well Bretts are the only order legacy army, so Bretts.
Dylan Ramirez
Some units should be without a particular Grand Alliance, in my opinion, but with the possibility of giving them one of your choice like the chaos undivided units can take the marks I’m currently reading Undiying King and I’d really like to make a small army working with the concepts of the Drak, with the deads being the departed fathers, brothers and friends of the living ones, remained there to protect their families also the Free People would add some ranged options to death, which it sorely lacks
Jayden Evans
And as a stormcast player I would love that. Maybe Vandus becomes Lord Commander and gets his own model.
That or, most likely, we glimpse the idoneth or the rumours of a new starter box materialize or are revealed to be smoke.
all of them, you would hear REEEEEs just by opening your window
Andrew James
It's AoS, GW can asspull anything they want at this point, you would REEE just because it would invalidate another piece of your beloved WHFB. I would welcome fuckable female rats any time, you guise are just hella homo
Look, I got here during ET and jumped the AoS wagon in between KBB and Everchosen.
I still find it a HORRIBLE idea, with all due respect.
Adrian Brown
well i played whfb 16 years ago, i would still fuck that rat
Jeremiah Clark
You dumb fuck; the rats are like a bee hive.
Connor Brown
>It's AoS You furfags were spewing about it even then, I know, I was there. the truth is GW absolutely loathes fetishist fucks like your kind and purposefully went the way it went with lizardmen, skaven, orks, marines and yes, even beastmen in their own way and will keep on going in this direction.
>go sexualise an elf they are ugly, just like Morathi
Isaiah Phillips
So you're just a filthy degenerate who wants to fuck rats? m8 just use some google fu and jerk it to any of the existing rat porn there is out there. No need to make the mortal reams your magical realm.
Nathan Edwards
do you know what "asspull" mens
Daniel Gomez
Are you fucking stupid
If GW doesn't show the entire Idoneth Deepkin model line I will become a King of War player I swear (jokes on me)
Levi Sanchez
>So you're just a filthy degenerate of course i am, do you not know what website you are on?
Angel Jones
Back then, did the hero level actually mean anything? Or was it just a general eyeballing for 'They are X badass'?
Jack Reyes
it unlocked some things for them to take for points, like better spells, gear and artifacts
Hunter Martinez
I'm very aware of the Tibetan basket weaving image board we shitpost on but that doesn't mean I want what actually a pretty cool and very suiting bit of lore thrown out the window because 'Hurr Durr user wants to fug rat chicks with big tiddies'
Thomas Flores
>rat chicks with big tiddies i don't know user but you kinda post argument proving anons point
Isaac Perry
Furries are automatically faggots.
Anthony Sanchez
newfag here
Looking at the warscrolls of certain units (mainly seraphon) a whole shitload of them have "Summon ________" so does that mean you cannot start a game with them and they have to be summoned?
No, you have them on the field, but the wizard can cast a spell to summon more (many Death units used to have that rule too) However in matched games, which are going to be 99% of the games you’re going to play, to summon new units you need to save the points at the beginning of the match, so if you want to summon a 200pts unit you’ll have to start the game with 200pts less then your opponent
Grayson Cruz
Yeah, that's why they just made a monster girl army where some women are transformed into mind controlled monster girl slaves by "injecting Morathi's venom" into them.
when you make an army you have a total amount of points to divide between the ones you use for the units you field directly and the ones in reserves
for these units this means that you can both field them normally from the start of the game or, during the game, have your wizard create them from thin air (and the reserve points)
the advantage is that instead of having a fixed choice in your list, and being a bit restricted when it isn't the best choice against the situation or what the enemy fielded, you can summon the right instrument at the right time for the right enemy the disadvantages are that you start the game with less models on the field and that you have to summon them, risking a failure of the spell or the death of the wizard before it does its job.

>Building cauldron of building >Wheels covered in spikes. >Positioned differently so some aren't level with the ground
This is triggering my autism hard, It looks more natural this way, but It's bothering me that the wheels aren't all level because of the spikes.
They might look weird, but they are women. It's a femdom society.
Sebastian Cruz
>cauldron of building user..
Aaron Cook
I’d sperg because it’s giving yiffy cunts like you exactly what you want. Furries should be gunned down in the streets like the degenerates they are. Skeletons will inherit the realms.
>so desperate for any news about the Idoneth Deepkin I end up having a dream about them >mixes with the Splatoon I played just before bed one of my frequent anxiety-fueled nightmares >their fluff becomes Junji Ito-esque body horror driven soul reavers
Speaking of Bretonnia, how are they these days? Overpriced shit or somewhat good? Also, would you play somebody who fields nothing but black knights and black knight-conversions, but with bret rules?
Andrew Ortiz
Can anyone recommend a Youtube channel with non-shit AoS batreps?
