A chapter of space marine lands in Shire. How quickly can they cleanse the Middle-Earth from all the xenos, the heretics and the unclean?

Does Sauron have any way of hurting them?

Like, at all?

I don't mean just Sauron, I mean everyone - xenos trash like Galadriel and Gandalf gets the bullet too.

they get tom bombadrilled

>Implying bombadil would not just force their xraft to fly into a dark hole before they even notice the planet

why post this? why do 40kids feel the need to compare their immature setting to other settings? WHY?

>Tom Bombandil gets bolter'd in the face
>Dies
>The chapter moves on

>Implying some cuckmarines could hurt bombadil

Because 40K ALWAYS wins.

>A bolter round?
>Around and round!
>Into the back of your head sir
>Because pound for pound
>Tom Bombadil don't take no shit
>No bend your ass over
>Lets see if I fit

t. Tom Bombadil, probably

>Implying some hobo from a forest can stand before the Emperor's finest

Maybe but space marines sure as fuck aren't the emperor's finest. At this point they're not even third place.

They find a Balrog or the like, assume the entire planet is corrupted, and bomb it into oblivion

This comment made me love this thread.

Bring some Primaris Librarians and you're golden.

>Bombadil
>Hobi from the Forest

Anonim watch your ass because you are healing for some ass punding by bombadils massive dick

You must be 18 to post here.

Well played user. 9/10. Credit to board.

You do know Middle-earth is earth's past right?
For all you know you denied the emperor's existence with your little shenanigans. But not the orcs, they always endure.

No it's not you stupid cuck. That's a bad fan theory.

No, it's pretty solid canon as stated by Tolkien himself that middle-earth is just earth.
Hobbiton famously is in the same place as Oxford would later be.

Glad to see most people is bait.

Is this trolling or what is this?

>3rd age ended circa 10000 bc
>10000 bc is when the emperor was supposed to be born
Emperor is Sauron confirmed.

Negative.

He is Samwise The Strong.

They can't even get past third breakfast

Typical 40kid has no argument.

Eru Illuvatar wills them out of existence.

They need a librarian and a chaplain, otherwise they fail morale checks against Nazgûl and Sauron

They'd probably befriend the hobbits early on, not zenos just mutants
But as soon as they run into crazy shit like balrogs, nazgûls, or wizard bullshut they are fucked

Or the Valar send Tulkas to fuck them up.

They wouldnt be able to hurt Balrog or Sauron, and the power of the Ring would render them unable to do anything other than fighting between themselves until they would be ready to give in to Sauron.

if they`re loyal - they will die
if they`re renegade/chaos - they will rip and tear till the Mordor, then turn around and kill each other for lulz/glory/their gods

/thread

Elves and Orcs of Middle Earth are quite different from the Eldar and the Orks of 40k, thus they'd probably considered Abhumans rather than Xenos.
Ratlings and Squats are Abhumans, anyway.

The planet itself would be seen as an yet unincorporated world, whose populace does not need cleansing by sword and bolter, but to be taught the Imperial Truth or Creed (depending).

Which means there would be nothing and no one for the Astartes to kill, unless the do thorough investigation and discover dragons, Balrogs, etc.

So they leave only a small garrison in Gondor and inform Imperial authorities to handle the case.

How does that deal with the Ainu?
They can have children with the elves and likely the men as well so wouldn't they also count as abhuman?

Would the Astartes even encounter those beings, unless specifically searching for them?

And if, would they be able to distinguish between Elves/Men and the Valar and Maia in their elvish/human physical forms?

They die rapidly because they're in a world that no longer runs on shitty 40k logic and their powers don't interact with the magic in this setting.

>implying he isnt aragorn

Anyone who likes 40k is probably a cheetos hoarding 25 year old+ virgin

Arent Spartans roughly 8ft tall too?

40k always wins because they have the resources of most of a galaxy, as well as being on a total perpetual war footing, while most, If not all other universes have significantly less resources and manpower to draw from
They have the option of drowning any other universe in bodies even if the heavily armed space marines can't decapitate the enemy due to sheer draftable population

>they have the resources of most of a galaxy, as well as being on a total perpetual war footing, while most, If not all other universes have significantly less resources and manpower to draw from
That’s a pretty small scale comparison to multi-galaxy spanning settings.

Both are generally 7' tall, the whole 8' thing is fancanon.

>Implying astartes need magic to kill anything.

Those are the few settings that would handily beat 40k, though those settingd are rare to see

They die before they existed.

Attached: armour.jpg (250x386, 119K)

I remember seeing the that the height of Space marines varies just as much as it does for mortals, some are marinelets, others are 9 foot behemoths
Its probably the same with Spartans

Why would someone hoard Cheetos instead of eating them?

I don't think he'd get to killing until he saw an Orc or something.
Hobbit would be abhumans, and they don't seem violent or heretical at a glance, so he'd leave them for someone else to decide if they need purging or not.
Dwarves are in the same boat, I think.
He'd be suspicious of the Elves, but they're not dicks like the Eldar, so again, maybe later.
If he gets to Gondor or Rohan, he'll be quite pleased at how non-degenerate their form and society is, even if they don't have the light of the Emperor yet.

Can't decide how fast Gandalf would catch a bolt round, but he doesn't hardly use magic, and when he does, it's against something that's clearly Khornate, like the Balrog, or Tznechien, like the Mouth of Sauron.

Holy shit!

Attached: 1513959085430.jpg (2000x1922, 173K)

The men, hobbits, dwarves and elves are close enough to human to count as human. Orcs might count as abhuman but given their inconsistency and degenerate nature are more likely to be counted as mutant and therefore purged.

Those with the blood of Númenor would make excellent recruitment stock. Elves are probably too far removed from the baseline for the gene-seed to take. They would make better commanders and administrators. Noldor in particular with their attitude would win them some love from any Space Marine chapter.

Hobbits and the men of twilight till the fields of the almost agri-world Arda would become. Dwarves make the tools of the farmers but unless they can be inducted into the Mysteries of the Omnissiah they won't be given training for anything more complex.

There have been several books that have stated Space Marines can be around 8 feet tall. Abaddon was stated to be almost as big as Horus. They were once human beings, so there is some variation in their height. 7' is probably on the lower end of the spectrum.

40kiddies literally can't recover from this one.

>Butthurt tolkienfags denying the obvious truth

How would Sauron Orcs react to Ork Orks?

BasedAnon and bain are gay rapists

See the (sadly abandoned) fic: The Culture Explores Warhammer 40K.

The only part of the 40K setting that's a genuine threat to them is Chaos, because Chaos can corrupt anything (which means it gains access to whatever overpowered tech you might use against it).

This is /tg, not /pol. Anyone see what I did there?

She joins in during the second verse.

I don’t know how to feel about this. On one hand, This thread is a low effort shitpost, and this post is funny. But on the other hand, Tom Bombadil is a shit character.

I'm trying to see how a High Lord of Terra or I guess Guilliman, would propose Sam to manage the fieldwork, similar to how the Ring tried tempting him.

Books!Orcs, Movies!Orcs or Shadow of Mordor!Orcs?

Books probably, Movie Orcs would just job, and Shadow of Mordor Orcs are just Orkz without the WAAAUGH! Field.

>Orcs, Orks
>Corrupted Elves
>Mind of Wheel and Metal.

Whose to say the discovery of this planet doesn't unite the Orks, Eldar, and Schism the Tech-priests into one glorious omni-faction?

The imperial falls without it's tech-wizard backups within a century.

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 25K)

The hobbits and Dwarves would be fine, because they would be mistaken as rattlings and squats (which are abhumans.)

The Elves would be mistaken for eldar, and would likely be treated as such.

user, these 40k threads while very self fap ish are perhaps purest of the more common Veeky Forums threads that keep popping up.
If not talking about the game itself it at least keeps people looking at the published lore instead of thinly veiled porn threads, or non-veiled /pol/ shit.

Given some of the other options? keep these types of threads coming.

They cant, all cross IP travellers end up as incoherent molecules shreded by the forcible transition to 2 and 1 dimensional space and back.

>an army of unstoppable genocidal lunatics indoctrinated to blindly obey a shiny golden man
>Sauron can't shapeshift anymore
He would trash his room like Charley Kane and throw his palantir into the toilet all the while screaming like a woman.

Off the top of my head, universes that operate at a larger scale and power level than 40k:

The Culture series
The Xeelee Sequence
The Lensmen series
Some stuff in Dungeons and Dragons
Strike Legion
Macross
Gurren Lagaan

The list is by no means exhaustive, and these aren’t obscure settings. 40k is middle tier.

And before you bring up Chaos because I know one of you faggots is going to, chaos corruption by it’s nature wouldn’t work on anything from outside of 40k. Chaos can only corrupt and possess things with a soul or objects which have been specifically prepared to receive a daemon, and in 40k a soul is clearly defined as a creature’s connection to the Warp. Because the Warp only exists in 40k, nothing from outside of 40k would possess a Warp connection, and would thus be immune to chaos corruption.

>they have the resources of most of a galaxy
The Imperium is the only faction that can claim systematic exploitation on an interstellar scale, and the Imperium is a shaky shitfuck of randomly colonized systems that probably doesn't cover 0.001% of the area they claim on the map.

>40k always wins because they
>they
40k is a clusterfuck of factions trying to kill each other and occasionally teaming up

If you mean the Imperium, it itself is fragmented and hampered by archaic bureaucracy. Not saying they can't get things done, but I'd hardly say they have the resources of most of a galaxy.

Can sm chapter defeat Ungoliant?

Really Rings my dil dil dillos

>Greater Daemon of Slaanesh (excess of hunger)
Yes but with difficulty.

You mean Ungoliant the dreaded? The same Ungoliant that casually shitstomped Melkor, greatest child of Eru and would have devoured him utterly had it not been for him calling in his Balrog forces? The same Ungoliant who was closer to being a blackhole within the song that the world was forged out of rather than an actual living thing? THAT Ungoliant?

She merrily and greedily gobbles up the entire Chapter.
