I think there's going to be at least one Kickstarter rip-off on a gigantic scale for board games that'll sour that a bit. There really is a huge acceleration to crowd-funded exclusive flash in that industry right now.
We will probably see another D&D edition within that time period. This is more likely if PF2 manages to achieve decent market share.

Probably shift over to Veeky Forums tier stuff, but people still will discuss tabletop gaming. Hell, technology might actually make it easier to have friends over for a tabletop game and what not.
Hopefully GW will stay on track with its new leadership (and hopefully Kirby fucks off out of the company) and develop into something that is customer-centric while remaining within reason and decent pricing.

God I hate those types. They want change, but they do nothing productive to perform it. Whine whine whine, but not fucking action. No, holding a sign is not forcing change, nor is holding up traffic. Those folk have no power anywhere.

But until then, making characters is fun in it's own right so I'm not hurting for content. It's just kind of annoying that all their development is finished later in minor writing projects that only serve to round off their stories.
