Have seen an user who recommended having a drink or two whilst painting as it steadied his nerves & helped him get in the zone more, but overall probably a bad idea

>Next chaos god is rumored to be Khorne >Source says Angron is gonna have a huge model >New black legion set alongside Space Wolves set, with an Abaddon and a Leman Russ model >Russ said to look more like Odin, will have a transformation rule like Morathi in AoS What do you think of these rumors anons?
Ryder Adams
What's a better use of 359 points in a Marine list? Stormraven with 74 points to play with or a dread with 118 further points to spend.
Jack Perez
Take a Leviathan or Deredeo
Nicholas Price
I think it sounds pretty cool actually. Mostly because same person mentioned a Kroot codex which sounds neat.
Aiden Torres
Sounds like that user may have had essential tremor. Alcohol is known to calm it down.
>You may even be referencing a conversation I was having on here 2 or 3 months ago lol
Charles Martinez
I'm just drinking and staring at my models. Been doing it since my best friend an hero'd last week.
Dread hands down, the stormraven will be ded first and you risk losing its payload as well and those extra points can help spread some love around your list
Aiden Stewart
I mean, I'd rather not use Forgeworld stuff in this list if I can help it.
Brandon Wilson
RIP in pepperoni
Evan Robinson
dread with 118 points of additional dread
Michael Bell
>Second Khorne update before Slaanesh gets 1 I wanted to believe GW wouldn’t be this retarded.
Owen Sullivan
> a starter set with two special characters > special characters that are usually like 110 bucks a pop (daemon Primarchs, AoS gods/monsters) > in a starter set (ie reasonably priced to move more product) Literally not going to happen. But God knows we need a new Abbadon model. King Yiff can stay gone I wish, he will print money when he is released with all the fucking furfags
Jackson Walker
wonderful idea the liquor is a bedder painter than you the liquors calling the shots now >rerolls charges in 7.5acpv
the set probably wont feature them but they'll come out alongside it
Jack Nelson
Stormlord out put is eh. I prefer the Banehammer.
Jack Lewis
Odin looked like Gandalf the grey. In fact Gandalf was based on Odin.
Nathan Cox
>Slaanesh never ever ha ha lol it's like being cucked is xis fetish >as he should, hopefully looks like pic related rather than the horrid pre-daemonhood art >first Abaddon model in something 14 or 20 years, at this point I doubt it >Russ a shit worst primarch
Fuck man that's harsh... but give the drink a break, a solid week'll start you down the slippery slope and you don't want to associate it with 40k, people use it as a way to get out of addictions
Fatigue sets in. The way this new campaign is going (results ONLY count for games in GW store, ONLY models bought since the campaign count) is setting the tone for the future. Buyers will get fatigue going from one campaign to the next. They aren't having a big AoS campaign AND 40k campaign in one fucking year.

>picked up eisenhorn from my local shop (the only one they had) >probably never going to use him Oh well.
Isaiah Peterson
> use typhus This is key: DON'T. Spam Poxwalkers. There. You are done. 5 dollars please
Tyler Gomez
>results ONLY count for games in GW store Fair-ish
>ONLY models bought since the campaign count ...What
Hudson Jones
The major announcement is that tencent is looking to expand their domain and will be buying GW and FW. Expect an end times event along with the launch of 9th edition which will bring back multi-faction alliances, streamlined rules, prepainted miniatures and lootboxes with random units and DLC codes for the upcoming games (both mobile and console)
Caleb Hall
drop the flamer, I doubt you'll get close enough to use it, I rarely do
Owen Ramirez
As an engineer I'm gonna say heat sink.
Perhaps they have something similar to Myomer Accelerated Signal Circuitry (from Battletech). Let's em go extra fast but makes all the servos heat up like mad.
Austin Cox
>results ONLY count for games in GW store How else would they moderate it? >ONLY models bought since the campaign count This is fucking stupid however. True milking. How would they even know? Are you expected to present a fucking receipt?
Brody Wilson
Normally I wouldn't have added it, but looking at the sprue mine didn't come with the bolter for some reason. I guess I could just say it counts as though.
Landon Cox
GW used to have punchcards that earned you rewards, maybe it'll be like that
Camden Rodriguez
>giant doubnle bladeds chainsword >same stats as little itty bitty sdreadnought power faist
Joseph Turner
Dat's what we in da mekky-jeerin' community call "gubbins."
Dunno, I always try to give them cool looking helmets instead.
Cameron Perez
I have a question about the tyranid instinctive behaviour special rule. If I have a carnifex outside of synapse range and I declare a multi charge targeting the closest enemy unit and another unit do I still get the -2 to my charge roll?
That looks like a nice custom chapter man, whats the fluff
Dylan Ramirez
Don't think it's GIANT, if I read the scale from the Forgebane photos right that's a dreadnought base.
Though you do raise an interesting point; statwise the Knight Armiger is essentially a dread with 50% more wounds and an ion shield.
And the same antitank weaponry as a Devil Dog. And the same speed. In fact it's basically the angry offspring of a dred and a Devil Dog with an invuln save.
The Wraiths are shrunken in that pic. They're on 40mm bases. Knight bases might be 80mm
Isaac Allen
I've not really built up a bits collection yet.
Xavier Hughes
Not sure about every army at every point in history, but Soviet officers in WW2 didn't wear helmets, as it was considered cowardly and uncool. Maybe space marines also as well?
