You become the definition and meaning of your name. This is a world of fantasy so abilities, skills and spells are applied to your name.
>First Name: How the world sees you. >Middle Name: Hidden Name, only known to those you hold close >Last Name: The family's trade and occupation.
>Dubs: You can create an item, weapon or spell based off of your name. >Trips: You can create a city or type of creature based off of your name. >Quads: Create a country or monster based off of your name. >Quints: Godhood.
>Prince of the Merciful Kingdom Also, threads based on dubs are literally shit and your thread is shit, you do know we can roll on Veeky Forums, right?
Benjamin Bennett
Oh, and feel free to use any celebrity's name if you're not comfortable giving your own.
>Neil: Hornblower, Champion >Patrick: Noble One >Harris: Army Ruler, House Ruler
Do you create money or earn money? And machine herder?
>Pureblood, son of a victor, from a line of ... bag makers Yeah... My last name kinda spoils it. But, hey, a noble dwarven clan that recently gained monopoly on the production of Bags of Holding?
Zachary Richardson
>An old god of fire, possibly a corruption of the name for eyeless, dog-headed god of lightning and death. >Beautiful Face >Literally means "Son of the Sanctified"
So I'm some kind of nightmare fire cleric from a family of clerics? I'm down for that. Funnily enough, my dad almost was going to be a priest at one point. Instead he went into the military, left the military, and became an artist.
>First Name: a servant >Middle Name: a defender >Last Name: son of a bug So it seems I'm a serviceman in a military organization, who tries his best to prove his worth and redeem his family's reputation, which was stained by his ancestor's betrayal. Neat! Paladin would fit better with all of that redemption, but there is nothing religious in my name.
>First name means "follower" I'm okay with this >Middle name is private Meh, I'll take that >Last name is a color How would that even work?
Christopher Butler
Oh sweet, dubs. I'll make the item related to another similar word to my first name, which is the prefix in the language used for sour fruit like guavas and plums. I also chose this because I once destroyed a mortar and pestle while using it, and have never lived it down.
>Andisolian Molcajete A small pumice mortar and pestle with the image of two coiling serpents decorating the bowl. The temolote is made of jet black pumice while the molcajete is a soft white. A single piece of polished fulgurite surrounded by a mosaic ring of obsidian is inlaid at the center of the coiling serpents, held between their jaws.
A blessed item, the Red Dawn Molcajete uses divine fire magic to purify food placed within. Any dish prepared using it is excised of poisons, rots, or molds, the afflicted portions burning away quietly with each ground push. Additionally, the item has a specific potency with fruits, especially those grown on volcanic soil. Any dish prepared with such fruits will act as the spell Goodberry for each serving, and will taste delicious, if with a faint spice.
Just be a warrior who wants redemption instead of a paladin.
Anthony Wilson
>Son of Lawrence. Alternatively, 'Son of the place of the laurel leaves' >Tile/Brick maker >Noble Rulers
I've always been stumped by these sorts of threads. They don't really go together.

Bentley Hill
>tfw you can't never participate in those threads because you're from a country with different naming conventions
Andrew Lopez
Since the world sees me as a rival I guess I will make a spell that make people rival each other for a short period of time even if they weren’t rivals before
Ryan Bell
Then try to retrofit it for your naming conventions, or make a version that gets a similar kind of result but with a different method. I'd be interested to see a system like this for other languages that don't follow the forename-middlename-surname format.
Carter Nguyen

so, held by a vow and a conqueror. with my hidden name being the sea. my family are the commanders of an army who are the representatives of the ruler. so the character would be a commander who has taken a vow to serve the king and has conquered lands.
>Free Man/Manly >Lover of Earth, Follower of Demeter >Defender of Mankind, Sand
I came from a family of defenders based off of deserts or beaches. I myself am a looked at as a free man not confined by the concerns or ruling of others. I am also spiritually devoted to the Earth and all that it brings.
So with a military background, manly freedom and my love of the earth, I'm probably a traveler helping those in need across the globe rather than restricting myself on the sands. But if there were sand I'd be even better. I'd probably use Nature and Sand elemental magics with utility magic to get myself out of binds, traps, cages, etc.
I'm guessing white would be something involving the church or clergy.
Christian Hill
>He who holds Christ in his heart. >People's victory: the patron saint of children, sailors, and pawnbrokers. >Derives itself from the German word for bear ("der Baer"). Divine Bear Priest is go.
