I am looking forward to these guys. More fodder for my stormhost is always welcome and this will add a little variety to the vanguard chambers. Plus, I'm really curious how their crossbows will work out in Shadespire.
I wonder how these guys will be in shadespire. At three dudes and a doggo I would assume each is individually worse than the sigmarites, but better than orcs or dorfs. But, really, I have no idea what their niche will be.
Well I could understand the OP greentext so OP is slightly less of a fag than normal
Although that's not saying much

Can’t wait for everyone to be disappointed with the Deepkin models because of all the expectations I see in this thread.

While I do love Tree-Revenants, I fucking hate the look of the Spite-Revenants. Do you think there's a future in a conversion using either the Revenant body or Dryads and converting it to have an individual Spirit Host emerging from the wood?
Could simply be because they all have their units normal unit weapons and the stormcast have 2 special weapons and 1 normal weapon.
Ayden Watson
I'm already disappointed since the time the rumours clarified they were not actually chtulu elves but atlantean elves; biological looking armour would have looked dope instead of another half naked infantry kit.
for now I'm expecting dynamic swimming poses to repurpose with added wings of sorts, fish mutants and paleoshark things, if it's normal sharks I'll riot

18 stormfiends with two warlocks is 2000 points
Ethan Morales
Well there are less expectations from them because they're a new army and not an army of bulldykes.

>if it's normal sharks I'll riot knowing GW it's time to put on my riot gear

Might be cool. Have Swamp Revenants to inspire you further, made with Plaguebearer bodies.
I don't think we'll see Battletomes for factions without Battleline and Leaders- I feel like Beasts of the Grave and Monsters of Chaos are directly intended to be ally factions, you know? Not that I wouldn't want to see Beasts of the Grave have more than just the Terrorgheist and Zombie Dragon, but look at Monsters of Chaos- if Chaos Warhounds and Centigors aren't going to be Battleline, I don't think they're intended to be any more than allies. Same way Ironweld and College Arcane will likely be.
They have more HH to get through before doing anything else.

>described as Teclis' abandoned fuck up yeah my expectations are pretty low
Leo Powell
I don’t get it
Nolan Allen
It would be possible if they didn't have to cater to Matched Play. In fact I think Battletomes shouldn't mention things like points values or unit types at all, it'll keep them from being useless as soon as the General's Handbook invalidates them a few months from release.
Isaac Hernandez
Agreed. You'd expect the ranger-types to have a more dynamic pose. I had hoped for all of them to be running and at least one femcast among the lot. As is I can build that team with a box of vanguard-hunters and a single spare vanguard-raptor bit.
Whats wrong? Its a big angry demon looks pretty cool
Adrian Edwards
I don’t know who it was at GW that told all the designers to literally only work on Khorne shit but holy Fuck, Fuck them with a rake because it’s all we’ve gotten from FW and all GW seems to be making too. It’s any wonder we got Nurgle
Henry Carter
I like it. Not good enough at painting yet to warrant trying it though.

>This was originally supposed to be a K’Daii destroyer but they converted it to a Khorne Demon
Ethan Diaz
a dude in my LG store has it
Daniel Young
Want to know how to anger chaos dwarfs even more? that thing is the repurposed corpse of the kdaii destroyer in wip
