Welcome, user.

Attached: 42-15.png (1252x1800, 599K)

that's a cool wyrm design

Attached: 42-16.png (1252x1800, 527K)

That's not how you spell good boi.

Attached: 42-17.png (1252x1800, 458K)

I appreciate the way the back of his shirt looks when he's sucked in

Attached: 42-18.png (1252x1800, 532K)

I want a Farlyn plushie! I really liked how the long age of elves is dealt with in this chapter. How Marcille still feels like a kid, and how she doesn't like seeing her friends die before she does.

Attached: 42-19.png (1252x1800, 491K)

Laius is a shit uncle. I mean, he means well, but his methodes are tough love 101.

>loli with a choker and a see-through nightshirt

Attached: 42-20.png (1252x1800, 407K)

>he gets enthusiastic about the imaginary beast
Kek, Laius is the best.

Attached: 42-21.png (1252x1800, 456K)

About what level summoning spell would that be?

is she a halfie?

Attached: 42-22.png (1252x1800, 587K)

Could be that her dad just died young.

Death happens.

Attached: 42-23.png (1252x1800, 408K)

>loli with a choker and a see-through nightshirt
I'm getting extremely worried that Ryoko Kui posts on Veeky Forums. What if I shitposted in her thread?!

Attached: 42-24.png (1252x1800, 505K)

...Wait a minute...
Isn't this the exact reason that the "mad" elf wizard created the dungeon in the first place? "Death itself is banished here" and all that?

>What ho, Marcille! Might you cast us a spell?
>Ho ho ho ho! Of course, half-rotting human!
>I CAST BOOK!

Attached: 42-25.png (1252x1800, 533K)

Attached: 42-26.png (1252x1800, 369K)

Wouldn't have it been easier to just remove the clams?

Attached: 42-27.png (1252x1800, 346K)

>Book
>you can read it
>you can smite your enemies with it
>you can wipe your ass with it
>you can use it to start a fire

Books are literally perfect.

It would probably cause mental problems like he mentioned before.

>Roll SAN

>one page of cooking
This manga is forgetting its main subject!

Attached: 42-28.png (1252x1800, 432K)

Enjoy the currently rare sight of a genuinely happy and carefree Marcille.

Attached: 42-29.png (1252x1800, 609K)

True, but the line "than everyone else" implies that Marcille was most raised around shorter-lived races i.e. non-elves and humans in particular; that makes the most sense for a half-elf.

was right, he IS best boi.

As much as I absolutely love Ryoko Kui's art, I really really want to see this page redone by Junji Ito.

>the Farlyn plush has the same body language from earlier depictions of her running about in people's memories
Fucking uncannly level of attention to detail

Man, I really wish Marcille and Lauis got togheter.

The end for now.

On a sidenote, kudos to the translation team. I spend some gift card money on acquiring the tankoubons in french, and this scanlation blows the official french translation out of the water.

>all but physically I am a good boi
>BARK.jpg

>Marcille prepares to multiclass into Inquisitor

But CAN YOU COOK IT?

Only if you want trouble with the IRS.

kek

They are paper and leather, in some famines people cooked said leather to eat. Along with shoes, belts etc.

Yes. In more than one way at that.

>At least it's not NausicaƤ's german translation

Some panels there don't even make sense any longer.

Why wouldn't Neko-shinobi be able to escape? Not like the others can catch her.

I wonder whether this mirage is of Marcille's home or the Thordens' Keep.

>Lauis hasn't talked to his folks in 10 years
Is he really a good pupper?

Do we know how many floors the dungeon has?

French translations are usually very good, too. It's just baffling.

But if they manage to catch her they'll eat her. I would wait for a perfect opportunity too.

I mean, it's not like he could just call them or take a bus back. Independent of any desire to see/not see his parents, it would be very difficult to do so. This goes double for being as broke as Lauis is, given that all the money he made as a goldstripper apparently got stolen.

Plus if Lauis really did run away from the army, there's a good chance he CAN'T go back home. Deserters aren't exactly welcome.

>he doesn't know he's in a dream

They are six levels deep into a dungeon.

Good luck making it up to the surface on your own.

>counting satyrs to fall asleep
cute

Attached: Untitled.jpg (326x310, 40K)

Yep. Death and moving on are the central themes of the comic. There's a bunch of parallels throughout the story.

Good point, but sending a letter would be nice

But if she wants to escape that means she has to be ranking herself as capable of at least ascending the dungeon by herself.

I couldn't think for a good out-of-context setup for this ridiculous scene, what's he saying Veeky Forums?

Attached: Most powerful servant.png (1082x1120, 315K)

His name is Laius, not Lauis.

also, in case anyone forgot, this is actually a call-back (though his ultimate servant seems to have lost a hoof since its inception)

Attached: 7.png (1451x2147, 761K)

I swear every chapter I try and pick out every detail Ryoko adds and I still miss them.

Holy hell.

Marcille is for Farlyn

Could that portrait be her mother?

>Awaken my masters
>youtube.com/watch?v=XUhVCoTsBaM

Shit, I think I might be shipping these two now.

Makes sense. In the previous page, we see a portrait of a bird (Pipi) and a male human (80% sure it's Papa)

>fat kid trying to pose on her bed

points for authenticity, but that's all she has going for her

>Marcille in her dream literally carries around a doll of Farlyn
>sees Laius as a literal dog
Dungeon Meshi is a /u/ series.

So I guess Marcille's dad was human? She looks like a full elf, though, which pleased me. I hate the idea of 'mule' half-elves.

Kinda makes sense. 'Marcille' honestly seems like a pretty human name.

Here's Marcille's mom from chapter 3. Might be her?

Attached: mommy.png (872x832, 518K)

Laius and dogs is pretty much a Batman "in my mind, I don't call myself Bruce Wayne" thing, isn't it?

>sees Laius as a literal dog

A big fluffy dog that she hugs for comfort.

>loli with a choker and a see-through nightshirt
I'm quite
aroused

Well if it is bound in leather then sure you can cut the leather and boil it till it can be chewed.

Your sister was a heal slut, Laius.

Attached: don't worry about it.jpg (350x390, 115K)

I wonder what Farlyn learned about Sureau.

Headpat, in dream

>...does that count? What does that count as?

She admitted as much that she was not capable of that last chapter.

She just doesn't want to eat monsters.

Yep seems like she's half and half from this chapter. Maybe elf traits are dominant.

> I've been wondering for a long time how nightmares taste

God damnit, Lauis.

Like, can you just imagine how truly, deeply weird Lauis would be anywhere that wasn't the dungeon?

Holy fuck, if he had actually stayed in the army? Just imagine the reputation he would have gotten.

> That guy kills his enemies and actually EATS THEM
> Also, his impression of a dog a freaking amazing!
> But seriously, he's a cannibal

For what it's worth, the hair looks right at least. The black ribbon around the neck in the portrait might be a sign of mourning.

That's probably lucid-Marcille peaking through to react to him in the last panel, too..

Attached: hnnng.gif (533x300, 1.38M)

He'd be the poster boy for propaganda and demoralizing the enemy.

>They actually have a guy like THAT on their side?

>Also, his impression of a dog a freaking amazing!
>But seriously, he's a cannibal
I keked

>New recruits, huh?
>I WONDER WHAT YOU TASTE LIKE
