D&D 4e Art Thread

Last one crashed in the night, so let's try this again. Trying to gather up as much artwork from the 4e era as possible. Anyone able to help?

For reference, you can find the books at the link below; 4e Dragon Magazine began with issue #364, and 4e Dungeon Magazine began with #155.

It's always confused me... 4e had some of the hotted dwarf women in D&D. So, why are the muls so damn fugly? This is, like, the only decent mul art I remember seeing in 4e.

I mean, seriously, this is the Mul PC portrait..

And these are the Dwarf pc portraits.

Honestly, I thought Yan-C-Bin really benefitted from the transition to 4e.

I had a crush on the dwarf shamaness from phb2

This one, you mean?

Honestly, 4e did some really, really hot dwarf women.

They got the worst look of both parents.

Also inheriting their dwarven parent's baldness probably didn't help much. Goddamn magical oaths

Anyone got that pic of a Mul slave-gladiator from the Dark Sun Creature Catalog?

Muls were never really meant to be attractive. They're workhorse mules bred for physical labour.

It's sad that William O'Connor died earlier this year. He was THE artist for 4e, did most of this stuff, hot dwarf chicks included.

Damn, that's a shame. Turns out that some of the 4e artists have DA accounts; for example, pic attached was done by Ralph Horsley for the Monster Manual.

It's a shame that 4e produced so much amazing art that's been forgotten, as it's usually overshadowed by the reputation of it all as a shitty system.

A fair amount's been recycled into 5e.

Really? I can't say I've noticed any.

Shit I didn't know.

F

There's Heroes of the Feywild art in the 5e PHB iirc

The dragonborn warlock in the phb is one

The fuck is that art? It looks more like it came from some OSR 'we wanna be creepy' game.

That is the official artwork for Torog, God of Torture and Imprisonment, from his statblock in the 4e Underdark sourcebook.

is what he used to look like, and it comes from his article in Dungeon #177.

the big beetle-dragon motherfucker is his house now.

>tfw we’ll never go back to 4e Gnomes

I’d appreciate any cute Goliath girls you have!

Sadly, this is the only one in my collection.

No, the one in the opening page, with the bear behind her.

Speaking of which, anyone got 4e gnome art? This is all I have.

Don't have that one. Can somebody post it?

Which is also too bad, cause it's not a shitty system. It's just not the system people were expecting. For a skirmish wargame rpg mix it's probably the best on the market, with Iron Kingdoms the only other good option only coming much later.

Thanks a lot, I was missing those.
