Infinity is a 28mm scale futuristic skirmish game by Corvus Belli where god fucking damn it, I said I was going to take a break from these. That means other people do it.
Does Bakunin has problems with alien impersonators, like people who get bio-sculpted into looking like Tohaa or Morats or something? Would make it a bit difficult to tell if you've been infiltrated, unless you hide very thorough scanners all over the place.
Isaac Parker
Nah.
Also OP, I was in the shower. If you waited a few minutes...
is there anything special to remember or take into consideration when putting together 200 point lists? is it still 6 SWC or only 4?
Tyler Edwards
It's only 4.
Ryder Rogers
Its 1 SWC for every 50 points
Joseph Russell
It's one swc per 50 regular points.
With 200 points, it's still good to try to have at least 8 regular orders.
William Bennett
Bakunin doesn't. Dawn on the other hand...
Charles Lewis
Forget aliens, there's probably a huge market for people getting biosculpted in famous people and making all sorts of transgressive recordings. >get sculpted into Joan of Arc >make satanist porn
Aiden Gutierrez
Just had a game were I ended up possessing the enemy tags several times. By the end I controlled all his tags. Tags are great and a lot fun guys !
Jeremiah Reyes
>all his tags >playing against an opponent with multiple tags to begin with He deserved to lose.
Camden Butler
Maybe opponent tried to use gecko duo or something.
Sebastian Flores
Could've been Nomads or CA with their pseudo TAGs.
David Green
He had an Iguana and Geckos. The mission was a quadrant control mission with extra points for tags. He had a good repeater network but I ended up bringing more hackers that wrecked shop.
Jonathan Nelson
That's even more reason to bring the relevant hacking support. Has only himself to blame.
Joseph Edwards
He thought an interventor would cut it with a good network, but I bought two interventors and a bandit. Great killer hacking support too.
Owen Richardson
Oh yeah, he definitely needed a KHD with that. Iggy's repeater is a fun time, but you need to be able to take advantage of it with a real nasty hacking team (which Nomads can get for pretty cheap).
And triple TAG is real gimmicky even with the cheaper ones, you gotta know exactly what you're doing to pull it off. I bet he didn't even have an EVO bot for the TeamPro -> Reboot combo.
Jack Ramirez
Yeah, he did mention it was gimicky, but went a head with it. He was a pretty cool player, he didn't let thinigs phase him and he was trying things out.
Jason Diaz
Well tell him a stranger on the internet recommended the EVO hacker bot to him. TeamPro is really good for getting Geckos up the board and can be canceled into Reboot to give any hacking attempt against his big guys -3 WIP (provided they reset). Brain Blast can also be useful for ganging up on overconfident KHDs. Getting his own KHD in there is a must as well.
Carter Miller
This pretty much.
Angel Robinson
Getting an heavy Mass Effect feel from this pic F
Hunter Morales
Infinity vidya when?
Isaac Cook
They are really jealous of their IP But yeah they should try making a vidya. Maybe an RPG
Tyler James
I painted a Cerberus themed Janissary not too long ago if you want to talk about Infinity Mass Effect Mash-Ups.
Who the fuck put PanO basic drones in there anyway, especially while they're using YJ models of all the special ones? They stick out like a sore thumb.
Jackson Adams
Why would I screencap incorrect information?
Logan Jackson
That's a real risky one. I wanna see how hard you get blown up when they're just reworked Haramaki.
To laugh at how dumb and wrong they were.
Ian Stewart
IDK, maybe in the fluff some PanO company has been whoring out to war criminals and Merc Companies like crazy, and Druze and Ikari have been reaping the rewards.
The stats are identical anyways, so it doesn't bother me because I'm just going to use YJ ones regardless.
Disingenous and homosexual.
They're in between the rest of the JSA HI listed in that one image of the Army list.
And Zensenbutai is the same name that it shares with the former Haramaki. But hey, if come next month it turns out that against all forms of logic and reason you were right, then hats off to you.
>The stats are identical anyways, so it doesn't bother me because I'm just going to use YJ ones regardless. Me too, but it's weird because it actually makes more sense to proxy them like that, both aesthetically and economically (since you're gonna have them anyway from playing JSA). Even an excuse of fucking the NA2 players into buying into as many factions as possible doesn't hold water, because under new proxy rules very few players are gonna do that.
Brody Hughes
Don't underestimate the autism present in the playerbase.
Julian Morgan
Are any of these particularly good fireteams? All I see is soup.
Blake Wilson
>now random mercenary units are getting sectorials before the Russians CB, just take me out behind the barn and put me down.
Matthew Murphy
>implying the Russians won’t also be a merc. sectorial [/endspoiler]
Alexander Martinez
Wu Ming Haris seems good
Gabriel Howard
I could see us being decently heavy on allowed mercs in so far as having a decent bleed-over from Tugunska. Russians are the leading faction of Ariadna and have strong-ish ties to the Nomads. Having the Russian Mafia Hacker faction working closely with the Russian ODON faction works well enough.
Jackson Powell
Seems to have a big Tanko focus so it's hard to tell. Wu Ming linked with a doc seems alright, though WIP12+cubeless keeps it from being really great. Wu Ming having haris in general is cool.
Both merc armies do seem really soupy though. They're something to play around with, but a bit disappointing coming off the super sleek Druze sectorial.
Adrian Torres
>implying the autists would stomach one kind of drones being not from the same faction even though they have the same stats I mean, I can understand pasting Yaokong names/logos onto the army lists PDFs, but come on.
Evan Martin
Just looking back into Infinity after a year long break due to burnout.
WTF do I do with my Haramaki now?
Hudson Campbell
Run a quad ML list before next month to send them out in a blaze of glory. Then melt them down with a blowtorch. It's what they would have wanted.
Carter Adams
dannydevitosayingtrash.webm
Luke Myers
Because capitalism The PanOceanian military industrial complex needs to deal with overproduction
Evan Davis
>but a bit disappointing coming off the super sleek Druze sectorial Not a proble, CB will alleviate the feeling by making DBS soupy too in the actual book list.
Anthony Cooper
>Run a quad ML list before next month to send them out in a blaze of glory. Then melt them down with a blowtorch. It's what they would have wanted. Only if it is a plasma torch
Adrian Stewart
Guess they are now proxies. Pretty shitty move by CB, invalidating an entire unit type people with have several of.
William Richardson
They're directly replaced by the incoming Tankos, though those are only AVA3 so there's still going to be 1-2 left out.
Julian Clark
Fair enough. Tanko proxies it is!
Christopher Flores
I'd agree, but they're old miniatures and look ridiculous next to the Domaru. Also they're pretty much Tanko. Uprising has been more of a bummer for ol' 'nilla Yu Jing.
Lincoln Edwards
Yeah...I actually have vanilla too (a lot of it) and use to love the mix of units. The stuff that they e removed has really messed up a lot of fun builds I used to enjoy.
I might just keep holding out for Invincibke Army, which is the idea and models that got me into YJ in the first place.
Robert Smith
I'm in the same boat user. A bit pissed off that I'm not interested in ISS though, leaving me stuck in a neutered vanilla until Invincibles arrive in 2019.
Noah Harris
But they confirmed them for this year.
Lincoln White
My main gripe is that instead of one really nice, sizeable YJ collection I now have 2 incompatible armies, both of which feel incomplete.
I’m selling the JSA parts I think, and will just not use my YJ until more comes out to fix them.
Isaiah Cooper
I don’t believe that is correct user.
Bentley Sanders
>believing any confirmation from CB [Angry Cheeki Breeki sounds]
Thomas Reyes
Now we know what ENOUGH was really about. It wasn't what the Japanese say to Yu Jing oppression, it's what Yuchinos are saying while daddy CB beats them.
Ditto, famalam. And every time I look at the Second Ed book and glance over at the Ariadna unit list, I get fucking livid.
Mason Rogers
Yup, I'm doing the same. CB fucked vanilla Yu Jing players with no lune and no apology.
Henry Barnes
>implying the autists wouldn't realise that Ikari have PanO drones because PanO sell their drones on the open market much more than YJ do
Ayden Murphy
Ironically in the RPG the basic S3 drones available to PCs are Yu Jing ones.
Hunter Johnson
But very few starting PC are considered professionals or soldiers. So they buy the cheapest less tech stuff. A merc knows his life depends on the gear he has, so he buys the best most high tech thing.
Dylan Long
Yu Jing drones are made by Koreans. Guaranteed to be better than PanO trash. Would you trust Malaysians with your electronic warfare tools?
Sebastian Rogers
I would trust the Swiss...
Also in the RPG Armbots and Garudas are also listed, but not Auxbots or Meteors. I m also annoyed that StarCo has no Meteors either. I really like Meteors but I almost never play vanilla Nomads so I don't get to use mine.
The official forums are cancer att he best of times. I dare not look upon them now.
Henry Reyes
On WGC?
Brayden Williams
Not true. I remember the multi-rifle being made by a French-German consortium
Jordan Powell
Franco German makes the weapons PanO sells to Nomads.
Parker Ortiz
The discussion has been stale for the last few days, what makes you think he's trying to censor it?
Thomas Murphy
I wish you warcor shills would fuck off back to the forums. Why do you feel the need to shut down ALL conversation about this? CB can't see what you do here anyway.
Brayden Morris
Why so aggressive? Discussion can only go so far before it's the same things being said over and over again. I'd bet it's the same people stirring trouble too. Also; You still have all the models you paid for, no one stole them from you. Now you have the oppertunity to play any of three sectorials, two of them brand new. Yu Jing tears are flowing like a river, but for absolutely no reason. Grow up.
Liam Kelly
>unironically defending this shit wew lad
Isaac Robinson
on the official forums
Cameron Davis
>crying about something that's been brewing since the very beginning
Brayden Gomez
is that you AMao?
Henry Lewis
I'm aggressive because CB is using their Warcor's like the Gestapo, to shut down community discussion about some bery poor choices, and the even worse damage control that has followed. Have you read the post they made last week?
Adrian Kelly
It doesn't effect me at all, but it's just another example of CB pulling the same kinda shit that they said they'd never do after the Exrah while using unironic paid shills to shut down discussion from people that are understandable pissed off that they're being shit on. It's a decently shitty thing todo to your consumers, and the way they are handling the dissent is even worse. CB has some of the worst damage control I think I've ever seen in this community, and it's just hilarious to watch them light the bag of dogshit on fire and then try desperately to stomp it out.
I will however snarl and howl about shit that's "been brewing since the very beginning" because I'm a Kazak player, devoted in his autism to the point that I exclusively run Rodina units.
Nathan Myers
We've got a player like that at out store, and he's half-joked about the fact that he's just going to throw away his army if AF drops and it's the French rework instead of the Kazaks. And I honestly won't be surprised if and when they pull this shit, since it's been over five years since they were first told that they get going to get support.
Isaiah Rodriguez
What post, the one explaining the JSA seccesion? Or another Yu Jing players (our customers) are crybabies comment?
Xavier Edwards
TAK is coming out this year. It's one of the five.
Luke Sanchez
The one explaining the JSA succession (the reason for which everyone could guess on their own), and giving YJ players no reassurance that it wasn't CB completely screwing them out of use of a large number of units.
>inb4 just collect JSEC, you only need to buy some more models
Christian Young
The upsetting comes from CB saying on the forums that it would explain the future of YJ. I don't frequent the forums, so I can't say if they specifically said the mechanical future, but technically the post does in that it's got some stuff on what YJ are doing to their remaining Japanese citizens. It's definitely not what was wanted, because it doesn't address the holes left in the YJ lineup.
>he's just going to throw away his army I can't understand this, like the people who're selling off their Jap units. Just put them in a box or something until you decide you want to branch out or something. Then again, I generally loathe the idea of selling my shit.
Ayden Stewart
At this point, I will only believe they are coming when they are out. They first told us they were coming back in 2012. I don't even really care, and it's not like we'll gain much more than ablative wounds for Vet Kazaks from any possible sectorial. But it's just irritating to have been shit on for so long.
Ayden Bennett
>been shit on Pls. Being shit on is what happened to YJ, the Russians are just being ignored.
James Allen
>unironic paid shills Nah, it's not even that respectable. Paid shills at least do it because they gotta eat. These faggots do it for free.
Eli Robinson
>Kazak sectoral comes out >absolute garbage >everyone plays vanilla instead
Wyatt Davis
>Kazak sectorial comes out >10 man links of 1 vet kazak, and 9 guys with no guns >Order spam intensifies
Justin Adams
>they said they'd never do after the Exrah >We didn't delete these units, we just moved them :^) Ignore Asuka, Raiden, and Haramaki
Nathan Cox
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the Uprising campaign. The references are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of political science most of the plot will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Bostria's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from classic Maoist literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of Warcor posts, to realize that they're not just unpaid shilling - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Uprising truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Bostria's existential catchphrase "I've been drinking Yu Jing's players' tears," which itself is a cryptic reference to Romance of the Three Kingdoms I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Interruptor's genius unfolds itself on their reader screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Japanese Secessionist Army tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for true Infinity players' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 10000 € of my own account (preferably lower) beforehand.
