As what it says, I'm willing to do both! However, I am looking for a GM/Player for a one on one game. Had poor luck with groups falling apart in the past due to time, and I'd like to run with something a bit simpler. Plus, I've really enjoyed every solo game I've had. Duo-games are also my style if you're dying for player-to-player interaction. If you have any ideas for a campaign that doesn't work well with a group, or maybe just prefer solo games as well, hit me up. If not, I can think of something I can run.

Basically a new player, though I've read the PHB and had more experienced friends check out my character sheet and expectations so hopefully I'm not doing any goofy That Guy shit. Last time I played was almost a decade ago, 3.5e. I'd play with my friends but they play futuristic magical robot girls and I'm hankering for more of a fantasy/save a village/hunt down some monsters/kick a lich's bony ass experience.
I'm looking for a text only game; play-by-post and real time sessions are equally appealing. I like roleplaying and interacting with settings and stories; being a murderhobo doesn't appeal. My buddy who DMs stated his biggest gripe with players is when they don't reply to his play-by-post threads within a reasonably prompt amount of time, so upfront I'd like to promise I won't neglect my shit like that.
