>"According to all known laws of topography, there is no way that a river should be able to flow. Its sources are too small to get its fat little current across the ground. The river, of course, flows anyways. Because rivers don't care what anons think is impossible."

Not bad, not bad at all
HOWEVER

Littleton better consist entirely of fae and other smallfolk, so help me God..

>wonderland forest
>dismal swamp
Really?

>There is a town literally called Box

You do realise that most real places have similarly banal names? I mean ffs there was even a time when 'Eastern Realm' was one of the primary powers in Europe.
I myself live in place called fucking 'Ore Island'.

thats the joke

What about using Europe?

>Brandywine

So the campaign is about crazy hillibillies hobbits?

Can I join in?

Afraid not, it's in-person. Also we're all autists (literally, we met at a communication therapy group).

>Riddick Crossroads
>Dismal Swamp
>Wonderland Forest
>Warwick Corner
>Lazy Oak Corner
>Sunbeam
>Savedge
>Poor Farm
>Isle of Wight

Wow

>uhh yeah we get on highway 64 and take it up to Poor Farm

>fantasy realms are just typical American countys

>well shit, looks like 2 miles down the road you encounter a bunch of drunk hicks trying to rob a feed station, and mistake you for law enforcement

Buzz off.

>Savedge
Geez, user, learn to spell.

>Savedge
>a town where everyone wears a dark cloak and sits in the dimly lit corner

Steamed maps?

Cute.

>Panther Landing

Sometimes on the non-flag boards I forget there are other countries here.

>HRE symbol is loss

It's West Virgina. That's less of a joke than you think.

Of course they are.

I just pick an English county with no major cities in it. Northumberland or somewhere like that is good.

The more you zoom in, the weirder the town names get.

"user, you can't name your town fucking 'Shitterton' or 'Little Snoring', what's wrong with you"

But what do you do when you need to set up a tussle?

I can, just as I can have Slaughter, Bottom-end and Grope

What do you mean? Obviously the towns themselves and NPCs are generated by me.

What? There aren't even any bifurcations

Yeah sorry try again faggot no river on earth does that shit. Try opening a geography textbook some time retard.

>what is the nile

>Upstate New York
>Cradle of Civilization
Yea that's a fantasy map alright

More like the Death Valley of Mental Degradation

>Could they be true?
Kind of? On one hand, I've never gotten in trouble for "misgendering" someone. On the other hand, the Folsom Street Fair exists

What did you mean by this reply?

>not using tasmania

>The Dungeon
So that's where all the adventurers go. No wonder they meet all kinds of crazy things, because Australia.

Where do you get the maps in this style? I think I might do that.

idea
>actual place names
>then translate them to like old english, welsh or german and use that

>isle of wight
>oh WOW i wonder what's there

mygenealogyhound.com/maps/Virginia-County-Maps/VA-Halifax-County-Virginia-Map-1911-Rand-McNally-Houston-South-Boston-Turbeville.html
Be careful though, sometimes the towns and there names are a bit hard to read.

just google "[insert location] old map"

>Homeville

>ooze lake
>dangerous hole
>ding dong rainforest

They compliment my planning and depth of campaign

>each mission/adventure is one page of a few bullet points on a notepad.
>monsters barely have stats, many of which i make up on the spot
>npcs have zero stats, just names

Tasmania was the penal colony where they sent the hard cases. The Australia of Australia so to speak
