The line clearly goes through the air vent at the top of his helmet, and you're a retard beyond comprehension if you don't realise an inch is crazy thick as an estimate for armour playing even with power armour.

You just paint over them, dumbo, no one will ever notice
Matthew Watson
I am not great at painting so the model better look as good as it can.
So is there a reasonably competitive motorized Tau army I could build that wouldn't get fucking tabled immediately? Apparently Hammerheads, Sky Rays, and Tau flyers suck ass. I don't want to just spam battlesuits, I want to build a somewhat fluffy Tau army (lots of infantry, vehicular support, battlesuits only used as elite assets for precision strikes). I'm not a WAACfag but I don't want to get tabled immediately.
Try to imagine Gulliman fitting through a rhino door then tell me if you think modern Primarch lore has them at a retarded size.
Connor Nguyen
No, for some reason marines and CSM CT/LT only benefit infantry, bikes and dreads. Why that's still the case when other armies get it on everything is beyond me. Esspically since you can't say it's because CT or LT are just more powerful, since many of them are repeated in other codexes
>starting with AdMech Bad idea, honestly. AdMech are really hard for a beginner to build and paint, I would recommend starting with a different army. I know you might really want to play AdMech, but it'll be much more rewarding if you work on your modeling skills on something easier before coming back to them so you can make something you're really proud of.
Ryder Harris
Not too bad for a first attempt. Paints a bit thick, though.
>modern primarch lore. You mean the only lore on primarch size. In older editions they're size was never stated, but given that the lore about what they are has never changed, it's safe to assume that them being xbox hueg was always intended. >inb4 some retard claims that primarchs were originally just really smart marine commanders No it doesn't, and you're a fag
James Harris
Maybe to avoid the -1 to hit on flyers ? idk, seems dumb, especially since Eldars can have it.
It CLEARLY doesn't you stupid nigger, it goes through almost up to the top of his backpack. When you subtract the helmet ridge and his boots from his height, that Space Marine is like 6'4", MAYBE 6'6" at best. Even if he was 6'8" it wouldn't fucking be impressive, there's people in the NBA that big.
Luis Cook
>imagine a unit of ten marines fitting in a Rhino
L-lewd
Jaxon Flores
Who cares about the models? Try to imagine a 14 foot Primarch squeezing into a rhino designed for 7 foot marines.
Owen Taylor
Forgebane's lore section says that if the Admech knew the origins and history of the Necrons, they would feel a kinship with them.
I don't want an autowin, I just don't want a list that is impossible to win with. Taking nothing but a fuckton of battlesuits is completely contrary to Tau fluff, it bugs the shit out of me.
Jackson Howard
Is Bobby G allowed to ride in a Rhino transport?
Nathan Gray
Primarchs were originally -legends- user, and like hell are the current creative team the same people who came up with Primarchs.

shade it or blackline it. this will be the most important thing you ever learn as a painter. nothing adds more quality to a miniature than the uniformity of the shading.
Daniel Nelson
They worship one of the guys the necrons did.

>Does that confirm that Admech are heretics? Admech can't be heretics the treaty of mars said so.
Jeremiah Johnson
Send forgeworld lots of emails pestering them to release an errata allowing this thing to use the new profile for the heavy burst cannon. >24 S6 AP-1 D2 shots And pestering them to actually sell the kit again, obviously.
The sunshark is pretty good so whoever told you otherwise needs to step on lego and the Heavy Bombardment Hammerheads are basically Tank versions of Broadsides they're alright, sprinkle in Firewarriors and Pathfinders maybe a fusion commander or two and you should be fine
John Ross
Have you ever considered the fact that it's so ridiculous is why it's not possible? >idk, seems dumb, especially since Eldars can have it. Exactly my point. And if stacking -1 to hit was such a concern, just say in the CT that it can never stack with any other -1 to hits.
Ian Sanchez
>imagine this thing that doesn't happen inside lore or the tabletop Imagine you aren't retarded.
Now no primarch can fit in rhino. In 40k they are monsters In 30k bulky(so they can ride in land raider or spartan)
Gavin Richardson
Simply false. second edition codex: ultramarines describes primarch exactly s they are now: gods among men. And that codex was written from an omniscient narrator PoV, so you can't argue that it's just an in universe legend.
Colton Hill
would some of the arm options or at least hand options from the Deathwatch Kill-team kit work with Primaris marines? I'm looking to get some guys ready in advance for Kill-team and would wonder if that'd be too wonky looking.
Would it be viable to run the two new mini knights+one big shooty knight with some Imperial Guard?
I really like the look of Vostroyan Firstborn but I also love the look of the knights. I kind of want to run both in a 2k list.
Could anyone give me some ideas as to how I would accomplish this?

Guys, I realized something. I have spent a whole day on building a little timmy CSM list and that was quite fun but can be CSM even played with no cultists and don't get tabled on turn 2? I like my heavy armoured bois and I can't wait to finally get my HH box but am I doomed to buy cultists anyway or maybe there is a slight chance I will be doing fine with my basic edgy marines and havocs?
