Fug, should have gone with "they deserve each other" for the OP pun. Oh well.
Jeremiah Taylor
Why the OP talks about YJ and PanO but the picture is from a PanO and a Japanese?
Alexander Wood
Not yet.

> JSA killing its supportive allies Just can't break the habit I guess.

Convince me to play this game after being proved that CB are way bigger jews than GW
Matthew Martinez
Just play Kazaks, CB forgot they exist so they'll never be negatively affected by new judaism
Dominic Anderson
Kazaks will be destroyed in a general Ariadna Uprising event where USA, France, and Caledonia all fight for independence. All the ruskies will get lynched, genocided, and their units will be purged for design space for the three remaining factions to fill out.
Grayson Morales
>CB are way bigger jews than GW out of the loop, what happened?
Benjamin Rogers
I think that would legitimately cause the kurwa segment of the playerbase to consider military action against CB.
Gabriel King
Well, the new-ish Kazak Speznaz, Dog-Warriors and Scouts will get added to a NA2 sectorial. So don't complain, you can still totally play the models you always used.
Brandon Wilson
It's not as bad as GW really. JSA has split off from YJ, it is its own faction now. All the Japanese units besides Ninja will no longer be usable in YJ, so YJ players who played mixed armies are left out in the cold. It's not great though, YJ has less profiles and the same amount of sectorials as ALEPH now.
Gavin Young
And there I was thinking I missed the YJ shit I got rid of. I do like the new JSA stuff though...
Jaxson Stewart
Japs split from Yu Jing, and are their own faction, with only Ninjas remaining for YJ. This was done to leave space for new Invincible Army units to fill out and be included in the YJ roster, which is expected to come out later this year.
Ryder Roberts
> This was done to leave space for new Invincible Army units to fill out and be included in the YJ roster, which is expected to come out later this year. There is actually no indication of this. In fact, our only official designation on IA status is that it won't be this year, because Bostria said it would be a 'tough year for Yu Jing' in a video.
Also, the whole 'it was done to leave space for IA' thing seems pretty hollow to most Yu Jing fans, since all other factions will be getting new sectorials and units over the next two years as part of Paradiso N3. So why Yu Jing is the only faction that needs to make space when PanOceania and Ariadna are already bloated at 3 sectorials with unique units for all of them remains a mystery.
Aiden Parker
You’re also assuming they’re not losing some stuff as well...
Eli Sanders
Well come December 2018 we will what really happens, but I don't think any faction has an outstanding internal problem as strong as JSA. I think it would make Yu Jing fans less mad if it was part of a larger game shake up rather than just 'ayy fuck yo faction', but I rrmain skeptical.
Daniel Anderson
>There is actually no indication of this. In fact, our only official designation on IA status is that it won't be this year, because Bostria said it would be a 'tough year for Yu Jing' in a video.
There's no indication of when IA will released thought, the "next year" rumour is still entirely fans speculation.
The only thing we know is:
>Bostria said it would be a 'tough year for Yu Jing' in a video.
While there's also: >"Yeah, IA will be next for Yujing" And >"I'm not really woried about JSA leaving since i know whats will coming for Yujing"
So its all still pure speculation.
And we will never know when it will actually got released because they want it to "blow in everyones faces". So don't expect them to give clarification either.
Dominic Gomez
I'd be less mad about YJ specifically but more mad overall. There are better ways to deal with bloat than taking a machete to some random sectorial, such as actually fixing your shit. Especially when the first faction you go after is one of the least bloated around despite having so many units.
Aaron Roberts
Yu Ching was just the first one on the chopping block, game will transition to a sectorials-only state just in time for them to invent some new brilliant scheme to redo everything all over again for an nth time. Can't wait for Kazak resculpts to get invalidated with the release of the new Space Chechnyan sectorial six months later.
Josiah Murphy
> What spray Varnish do you use? I have an old can of GW that's about gone, but the new kind they make now has nothing but shit reviews.
Thomas Myers
It's still relatively cheap and they're probably not so much greedy as they are dumb.
Bentley Watson
I use an airbrush. Testor's dullcote is apparently good.
Jonathan Martinez
> being proved that CB are way bigger jews than GW
Wew
I bet you living under a rock for 18 years. Both are jew. But bigger? HAH, not even close.
But if you only want to be assured, i suggest you go away from wargames as far as possible. Buy a board games, get a friend, have some fun.
Hudson Murphy
>they're probably not so much greedy as they are dumb. Yeah, it's less >buy our new box and our new book and more YJ to patch the holes goyim and more >look at our neat new thing, we're really excited, we're doing something we've wanted to do for a long time, and we've got these neat NA2 things to play with and it'll all be great >huh, there's a big hole in YJ? It'll be fine, we've got stuff in the works
Josiah Jenkins
>these neat NA2 things to play with is anyone actually excited for those?
The JSA stuff is at least selling to the people already interested in the sectorial/models, but the other NA2 factions are just white noise grab bags.
Nathaniel Jones
And what makes them more greedy than >Look at all that new stormpecs >STORMPECS >Your old army? Fuck em, have STORMPECS
And >Those skirmish games we sell to you before? Not happening again >But we have the brand new STORMPECS, now with totaly not bolt gun crossbow! >Buy it now and more >Look at this shiny new super hitech gangs >What? no, we're not take it from other wargames, we swear ot goyim
Jack Sullivan
Well people have been asking for Druze stuff and they got it. Ikari and Starco not so much but at least there's 3 options if you want to play merc armies which is also a thing people have been asking for.
Jordan Price
>is anyone actually excited for those? CB
Some units might get some more profiles, like the Druze did.
Samuel Flores
I'm not one of the salt elemental Yu Jing players shitposting around, but I am a semi-salty YJ player. This is basically what I'm thinking has happened. I'm not going to abandon the hobby or anything, but I'm much less likely to spend my wage slave bucks on Infinity stuff until Corvus shows some positive stuff to the Yu Jing players.
Nathaniel Reed
Makes sense. If there's nothing you want to buy, there's nothing you want to buy.
Christopher Rivera
>t. Guy who has most of the YJ line.
Let's be real guy your not planning to buy stuff because your an established player that has the relevant models for his army already. The second CB puts out new models that are not resculpts of old ones you will buy them all up like a good little boy. Stop acting like your little boycott is actually stopping you from buying stuff.
Isaiah Cooper
That's exactly what he said though you simpering loony.
I'll just assume you're a retarded european or something so I don't bother actually explaining why you're a fucking nutcase.
Jaxon Long
I actually still need a few boxes and a half dozen blisters to polish off Yu Jing. I've been buying like 1-2 blisters a month as part of my hobby budget, but I think I'll redirect that to something else for the time being. The new proxy rules help me not buy more stuff though.
Joshua Reed
>when you don't have an actual counter argument for being called out on signaling so you resort to name calling and making assumptions about someone's national origin on a Mongolian basket weaving forum.
CB should axe Ariadna entirely And make a separate modern special ops game which would placate the /k/ommandos and get rid of them at the same time
Brody Cruz
Ikari's looking to be just my jam as it takes several of my favorite units like Al Fasid, Yuan Yuan, Rui Shi, Karakuri, Wu Ming, and the linked Clipper from Druze I wanted to try. The fact that I get to field my Keisotsu in a link as a core to it, which is my usual bread and butter, is pretty dope. Especially with Rui Shi and all my Yuan Yuan.
Plus, I get to be able to buy a Desperado and try out that Coca-cola theme I wanted to do for a USAriadna army.
I even drafted up how I'd paint this Bashi Bazouk I recently got, which is also a favorite unit of mine.
As long as the JSA version of the Rui Shi is virtually identical to the Yu Jing original, or possibly better, which I don't see why not, I can see this being an annoyingly popular faction in upcoming tournaments.
Most likely. Only other thing it could be with those samurai side pads is a Domaru blister with some equipment.
David Sullivan
>retarded >anime image Yea that checks out.
>Remove one of the most popular factions because of YJ salt. Yu Jing players really are a bunch of scumbags trying to drag everyone down with them. Honestly pathetic.
Benjamin Young
Which is better, the Aerocam or Sixth Sense Warcor?
360 visor was what it was FAQ'd to. It does something, but the question is if it's worth it over SSL1.
On a similar note, on a Haris of Odalisques, should I got for Sixth Sense or 360 visor?
Julian Morales
360 visor.
Tyler White
Nobody had to go down in the first place though. This is squarely on Corvus for being bad at implementation/communication.
Aerocam just gives 360 visor currently, which is the most popular one currently. Being able to flash pulse/discover/alert in all directions is pretty good.
>CB are way bigger jews than GW >Nips starter still cheaper than 3 GW plstic models
Justin Gonzalez
I have Most of Vanilla YJ, Steel Phalanx, and most JSA shit is on its way.
Still spent less than a 40k army.
Lucas Davis
What's there to refute? I'm saying you're a salty bitch.
YJ is being split and will supposedly get new shit anyway. You chickenlittlefags should kill yourselves unless you have a Nostradamus among you who has some semblance of a clue and already knows what's down the pipe.
Jonathan Murphy
>You chickenlittlefags should kill yourselves So are YJ players supposed to be overreacting or not?
Robert Scott
As long as they shut up who cares.
Wyatt Myers
>because of YJ salt Nah. YJ could be doing fine or have never existed in the first place, and removing Ariadna from the game would still be a good idea.
Hudson Evans
Show us on the doll where the kurwa touched you haqq scum.
Cameron Butler
What do I have to be salty about? You must be confused. Thanks for the (You)s though.
Never ever run the BSG Spetsnaz. Its job is done just as well if not better by the BSG Scout, while Spetsnaz shine with Ambush Camo. Likewise, I personally dislike putting the AP HMG on the Tankhunter. I much prefer them with Missile Launchers for the reactive turn or the autocannon for a bit of both. Vets and Spetsnaz are just much better vehicles for HMGs. Sure, the Spetsnaz might not be AP, but it's Shock and ignores cover penalties while giving you another marker for the deployment shell game.
Gavin Clark
An AD trooper isn't quite the same as an infiltrator. You can arrive at vectors unexpected, or delay entry for turn 2. For turn 1 Alpha strikes, the Scout can do it sure. Takes a few more orders though.
Chase Barnes
Yes, but the Infiltrator also isn't as limited in terms of vectors. Remember that Spetsnaz is a Parachutist, no Airborne Infil. So you're picking out your entry prior and can potentially get fucked over simply by ending up on the wrong side of the board. Meanwhile, that BSG Scout is one of 2-3 midfield Kazak camo markers. I literally always run one, and I don't even always use him for Alpha Strikes -- if I'm using a Dog, they blitz instead and the Scout is a sledgehammer assassin to pick at the pieces while the other Scout or two relish the fun of a short-range sniper.
I will say that I don't play in a Sensor/Sniffer heavy meta, so "delayed" until Turn 2 is just a matter of holding off on the trigger and letting my opponent determine whether or not they want to approach. Another benefit is that since my opponent's know that one of those scouts is always a BSG, they tend to be much more leery of the fuckers in approaching midfield which I wouldn't be able to manipulate quite as much if I was holding off a parachutist.
Bentley Murphy
Their shit internal balance touched my autism. Even PanO and Aleph don't have it anywhere near this bad.
Adrian Morgan
I've been rereading The Black Company books then the Free Company of the Star came out. I already own half the models so I'm pretty fucking stoked. I hope Massacre can haris with Grrls, would be pretty fun army with Alguacil firebase.
It's a fair point, not any wrong choices: I happen to LOVE Ojotnik scouts so much because of their insane range band. Two or Three of them can cross-fire a section of midfield from vantage points, and always achieve optimal range against whatever they are fighting.
Michael Martinez
>retarded >anime image Yea that checks out.
LaughingGhazi.jpg
Logan Perry
Yup. And that's why I sprinkle in a BSG in the mix. I always have at least 2 Scouts, if not 3. And they work wonders to cut up midfield, especially when you have one of those as a close-range death machine just waiting to be unleashed. Don't forget about them also having an easily-available FO to make them button-pushers, too.
Honestly, I just much rather save my Spetsnaz for the HMG or maaaybe the Sniper. But honestly, I'm a shithead that prefers an Autocannon or a Missile "sniper" instead.
Having played pure Kazak for so fucking long, I have internalized my army to the best of my ability. Hell, I basically play with an open Lt as well since I have only used the the AP HMG Vet Kazak as my Lt for every game I've played with 'em for going on... five years now? I did a few games with the Colonel to figure out just how shitty we was, but other than that, everyone I play with knows exactly who my Lt is. And they've also learned how asininely durable a Vet Kazak with an HMG in Suppression with Sixth Sense and NWI is.
Eli Campbell
>CB >cheap a decent 300 point MAF list will be around 300 dollars MSRP (converted to freedombux) if I don't use proxies, and will be about 20 models (but only using 14). A decent 2000 point sigmar SCE list will be also around 300 USD MSRP, and will be 36 or so models. Infinity isn't really that cheap. CB's 14 USD average (converted) per miniature is double that of reaper and often several times more expensive than GW squad boxes.
Nolan Morgan
Here in freedom land you order from miniature market or Game Nerdz, the worst discount is 20%. Also a GW army will cost you like $600-800.
David Green
When the fuck did GW stuff stop using 50ish infantry+an 80$ big thingy or two.
My Onyx list costed 150$ or so. Suck my dick. Steel Phalanx 200$ got me almost everything in the line.
Anthony Miller
Yeah, these prices are completely bullshit, fampai.
He's lying. The average AoS army will cost you $400 if not more.
Jacob Scott
>a decent 300 point MAF list will be around 300 dollars MSRP This is an outright fabrication. $150 will buy you a complete Infinity army, with up to $200 giving you enough units to run a variety of lists.
Gavin Lee
Seems like you're talking about a very specific and cost-inefficient list. MAF starter specifically doesn't mix well with itself, but you can easily dodge it. Best way to start MAF isn't the starter, it's the box of whatever your first link team will be with some Zerats and Dats sprinkled in. And even if you do get the starter everything inside is totally functional. Raktorak is mediocre but no longer as bad as his reputation would suggest, Oznat needs some Hungries to lean on but is solid support after that, and rest of the box is good.
Julian Carter
maybe that's the problem then. A vanguard link with treitek ends up being a very expensive, in dollars, unit for not a lot of points.
James Phillips
When they made infantry cheaper so you have to take more.
Lincoln Morris
Eh just you, my average 300pt Corregidor list cost me 170ish freedumb bucks if converted, that already includes expensive $$ stuff like Geckos. My last 1500pt Skitarii army cost me 360ish dollar, that already includes 2 getting started box, with 20% black friday discount from my store, and that is still 3/4 of full army.
Also 2000pt SCE can cost you 400$ dollarydo if you don't waste your time skimming for 2 player starter set split.
Also MAF are expensive point wise, so unless you're going nuts on gakis/pretas+Oznat bollock list, most of 300pt list doesn't even exceed 200 $
Adrian Young
Yeah, that's definitely true. Depends on what you want to run. Some missions the Vanguard fireteam is just what the doctor ordered though.
Cooper Ortiz
>Some missions the Vanguard fireteam is just what the doctor ordered though That's basically how it goes. You sign up to make one list, but then there's those other units that look really cool or seem like they'd be useful, and then you accidentally the whole faction.
Hudson Ramirez
Are you me?
Hudson Garcia
these kids are pretty tacticool, but are they any good?
What so long as you are not being a 100% WYSIWYG that link is like $35 for 100ish points.
You just use the 4 pack of Morats as what ever you need and Zerat as Treitek.
This is even easier with the new proxy rules.
Charles Collins
I prefer to be at least mostly wysiwyg even if my opponent is ok with proxies. If I just slapped down an SWC box claiming they were all combis but the HMG, and an thickly painted old space marine for treitek, I am not sure I could l live with myself.
Eli Nelson
>ASS Yes, kind of limited by the link leaders they can take, but they're invaluable support for your big fucks.
>vanilla SMG is a fantastic cheerleader if you like your backline defence, 360 visor SMG+chain rifle+flash pulse is some good shit. Other profiles not so much.
Hunter Harris
Fair but that is very much a you thing. But you can do it and the game allows it. You are the one who is adding cost to it.
You can't say something cost a lot of money because you make it cost more then it could. Do to your personal taste.
I also bought both boxes just because I wanted to have the models because I like them. On the other had I also bought a tiger solider and gave him hair because the old Rasyat's clash so much with everything else.
But you don't have to do any of that to meet the rules of the game.
Also just want to say I am saying you should just throw down whatever you want. The Proxies I recommend are pretty close to the models they are filling in for. Like for all the Dire Foes I am fine with people just using a model of the same profile since I don't expect anyone to spend like $30 for 1 model for there faction.
Jason Murphy
Source or are you literally pulling shit out of your ass?
MI who have cheerleader cost. Dead killy and hard to kill for the points. They seem almost broken desu
Brayden Wood
Fuck Corvis Belli.
This spits in the face of their customers and their setting
Tyler Price
>and their setting You mean the one that's had the Japs as oppressed second-class citizens with agitators urging for revolt for pretty much the whole game run? The one that, according to Bostria, had as one of its base notes "Japanese uprising at some point"?
Lucas Smith
The more important second part of that statement isn't confirmed. Bostria mentioned "making room" at some point iirc, but at no point has it been inferred that IA will be coming out this year. It's not a long shot, but it's far from certain.
Nolan Mitchell
>setting that strives for realism within its factions and its world to the point that even the clearly evil alien empire is depicted as an "existential threat" more than anything >JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE HONORABU >ONLY NINJA DOGS STAY WITH YU JING FOR THEY ARE DISHONORABU
If they want to go full cartoon then make CA full evil alien that literally Tyranid planets into computers.
GET rid of Atechs in PanO. Get rid of the downtime of coming back to life and handwave some bullshit to explain how population doesn't explode.
Get rid of evil corporations from different factions exploiting Ariadna. Get rid of the retarded cold war premise of the entire setting
Owen Gutierrez
They're super good and can form multiple links. ASS players should take them more. Marksman Rifles as standard issue on BS12 ARM3 for 15 points is incredible.
Levi Ramirez
So the Japanese will take up Yu Jing release slots for the next few months, how is this fair?
Owen Diaz
>the revolt can't be justified, that's cartoon shit There's also a fluff bit from one of the BoW videos (I think it's the Kempeitai unit fluff from the new JSA box's booklet) that says that the Kempeitai have significant power in the new JSA state, and use it to Stasi anybody they suspect of not being sufficiently SAMURAI HONOR PRAISE THE JAPANESE EMPEROR.
Joshua Nelson
Things like that have always been a bunch of weird propagandist shit. See the new Keisotsu description and how eerily it resembles the old one, or more blatantly the Kempeitai and how they went full ISS on their own population instantly. It's like those instances of Ariadnan free-spirited good boys being so viciously invaded and attacked by higher tech nations for their resources and territory.
They could really use a character to better accommodate long ranged HMG/feuerbach links though. If you so much as don't want a spitfire you have to sacrifice your only infiltrator, and even he's still more about the short-mid ranged life.
I wouldn't jump the gun on this one desu, we don't know for sure. I fucking hope not though, that would be a bunch of bullshit.
Jason Williams
It is late here and at least I can sleep comfortably knowing that retards like you are booty blasted.
>more blatantly the Kempeitai and how they went full ISS on their own population instantly. It's funny, if you compare the new Kempeitai and the Maakrep (who their own populace prefer to pretend do not exist), the Maakrep actually seem like the better people. They hunt for Trigon members and people assisting them to try and get rid of the EI, while the Kemps haul people in for ill-defined "not being Japanese enough". It's trivial to manufacture evidence for Trigon membership, but at least it's better-defined.
