>What are your expectations for today's reveal? For AoS - Fishy Aelves will get a decent amount of new kits, a book, dice set and cards For 40k - have no fucking idea. I wish we would get some news about new Kill Team but it might be too soon
Also any fellow StD players here? Mind to share your 1000pts lists?
Order is fine, but over-supported to the point of activating my contrarianism, Death is literally a single alliance faction at this point, and while Slaanesh is still dead, fuck Chaos.
>Fishy Aelves will get a decent amount of new kits, a book, dice set and cards And cone in a box with Stormcast. Don't forget the Stormcast.
Nolan Gomez
i am the contrarian king but there is nothing close to my liking in unpopular GA's
Austin Sanders
>0/4 Artillery >weirdnob with literally 5 orcs >some sort of weird spiderfang detachment >no forgeworld monster filth
?????
Jaxon Jenkins
>What are your expectations for today's reveal? I hope user saying the RPG is the big reveal is truthful, I want to sink my teeth into worldbuilding, fluff bullying and meme crafting, also sweet sweet speculation. >On scale of 1 to 11 how disappointed are we going to be? around my post number
Hunter Hernandez
How important do you think a recent model line is? Do you think of leaving the model as they are suggested or heavily convert and get creative with paints?
Daniel Russell
Grots have bows but the builder doesn’t let you distinguish, and the Thundertusk is the other range. And had some ‘Ard Boyz to back the shaman, but preferred more Mournfang instead.
May I ask why you're taking a 120 wizard who is mediocre even in its own faction when you can have 80 point grot wizards with better spells?
I'm still partial to the actually good war machines Destruction gets. And honestly, you might as well pack in some of that delicious Forgeworld cheese like the Dreadmaw.
Carter Barnes
i am not good enough for conversions so i would leave them vanilla-ish but i would try my best with painting
Aaron Lewis
final questions: do you think you would like better an army that can possibly do many things or a more specialised, less flexible one? any particular concept or theme, even about a vague understanding of the fluff you may have, you particularly like?
Wyatt Hughes
wisely back to posting the pre-painted version
Jack Cooper
the only thing you did good was gluing the pauldron upside down
Mason Russell
Used to play Vampire counts, like nature or fire theme, dig some of SCE vanguard units with gryph hounds, chaos doesn't seem bad, not destruction. I'm prefer ranged stuff rather than melee but it doesn't have to be pure ranged. heavy on magic is good too. Rather something flexible
Henry Fisher
I need only 4 glade guard to finish out the 20 I need, but the kits are sold in packs of 16 and bit sellers sell the bits in pack of 16. Feels bad.
Isaiah Brown
What do you have against sylvaneth?
Andrew Moore
Actually the good thing was making Stormcast interesting. For once.
Leo Martin
mandatory scenery seems a bit icky and honestly they don't have many kits to work with. I like the visuals but there are few tools at least in my opinion. Like, Bow Kurnoths lok great but people say they are not worth it. Or that the Spite revenants are useless which already reduces a small unit pool
Jeremiah Flores
The Cave-shaman has too many weird little games combined with his abilities, and I already have the Spiderfang Shaman. Just needed a little range support.
My primary opponent is a Skeleton-horde user and the main strat I’m going with is rush down through scenery and smash their wizards before dealing with their inferior melee.
Play Tzeentch Warriors, knights and tzaangor for melee and skyfires for ranged mortal wounds. There is a battalion that gives all your slaves to darkness units -1 rend
Jayden Bell
you need 4 sets of legs. there are enough bits in gladeguard to make extra upperbodies Try getting some robed legs or something that will blend with the tops
Jason Jones

I love your paint scbeme user
Ayden Miller
buy from 3rd parties I guess?
Oliver Cook
>buy from 3rd parties Get banned, be my guest.
Owen Davis
i consider it, i really like tzaangors, cultists and LoC, but i am not a fan ofpink and blue horrors though and they seem to be important in the army. There's also no good SC box, only pure daemons one.
And obviously we have today reveals so that might change something.
What do you think user
Adrian Ortiz
So I tried this new template in the pastebin. Formatting text in photoshop is worse than facing Tzeentch.
What? I doubt people will ban you if you put 4 heroic lookig glade guard from 3rd parties.
Luke Young
3 and a half hours

Yes GW says their release tonight will be "bigger than last year, and last year we announced the new edition of 40k" along with deathguard.
We are probably getting 1) Deepkin 2) AoS 2nd edition (new box is supposedly death v stormcast) 3) New sisters of battle and Dark elves codexs because they havent gotten new 40k codexs yet 4) misc necromunda or maybe a new mordheim
Ryan Thomas
if you want competitiveness dictate your playstyle use sigmarines >but I don't like the models use just the rules, while using another army models >but people wouldn't let me if you had the stormcasts instead of the proxy models people wouldn't bat an eye, if they do now they are either acting irrationally, for opposition's sake (possible in a neckbeard dense tournament) or because it's genuinely confusing; you can fix this case through conversions: you could have your sylvaneth fluff to have them grow from a battlefield of valiant heroes, the sylvaneth rising from the ground acting more chivalrous than usual or directly wearing parts of the armour of the fallen warriors; where some stormcast mechanics involve teleportation through lightning you may decorate the bases with writhing vines or deep pools of water or convert some token spites to form portals or hold magical mirrors, they use to move rapidly from spot to spot. even just some helmets could make a difference
Grayson Morris
Nice spiders, spiderbro.
I've ditched shamen from my list other than the spiderfang ones - they actually live long enough to get shit done.
Planning a more casual list for later in the year and my choices are between Pestilens and mixed Destru with a grot focus, and I think my deciscion depends on how much of a hassle theese fucks are to assemble.
anyone here knows a polish or german AoS forum? I tried finding one that is active, and all I could find was 9th age or even 8th WFb.
Isaiah Peterson
>Polish AoS FB group - the biggest community, a few hundred players
Cooper Perez
Not difficult to build, the issue is how you arrange the 'hangers-on' - things tend to stick out awkwardly unless you're careful, so should be aranged to to have 2 contact points, e.g. the grot's rope attached to the chains, and his leg touching the upper-squig. Likewise tuck the ball and chain on it's leg in so it doesn't stick out beyond the base's footprint.
>So, you mean the same thing they did last year with the new edition. >Get the fuck out of here 'boi' i am just telling you how disappointed we will get
Zachary Richardson
No idea mate, I'm trying to avoid other poles in the internet at all costs. I have a small local community so I don't need to take part in anything bigger. For files and rumours I'm coming here
Robert Stewart
Disappointed? Like you are actually expecting anything big? I'm keeping it realistic. I want to see the new Deepkin models. But I'm not expecting 'BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENT EVR OMG follow us on Twitter'
Jose Peterson
cut 4 of them in half and convert the halves to be moving in and out of tree scenery
>Like you are actually expecting anything big? kinda, unless all the attention goes to 40k (likely) and we get dogshit scraps. Realistically all we get will be Deepkin
Dominic Taylor
maybe they are just going to tell more about the thing they will announce, rather than the thing they will announce being bigger
Bentley Butler
40k will move to square bases is the new thing.
Noah Davis
ok, I was trying to find someone playing AoS in Warsaw, yeah I know, but it is rather bizzar. All the shops I knew from the 90s and 2000s are closed, the few that are open run stuff like historicals or infinity as their main product. There is a GW store, which is mind blowing by the way, but they don't seem to have people playing there. 3 tables but they are only for demon games, or the store workers paint stations. So it is buy and get out store. I know there are tournaments in wolomin, by wolomin to me is like mafia central, don't want to get my head cut off.
And the strangest thing is that people all around Poland in really small cities or even towns seem to have a FLGS to play at. While a 2 milion capital city seems to have 0.
And I get the avoiding part. 2 months working for a pole in UK tought me, why imigration is good and why working with other poles is not.
Tyler White
What parts you need to finish the 4 remaining GG? I know they came with extra torsos/heads/legs.
Carter Brooks
I envy your easy access to historicals.
Brody Perez
>staying up to watch them reveal a 30 second video showing fish elves MAYBE I seriously hope you guys dont do this Just check it in the morning
Blake Long
Siema, bym pograł z tobą jakbym miał modele i kurwa pieniądze
Nolan Butler
> 2100 Central time is staying up late Get the sand out of your vagina
>And the strangest thing is that people all around Poland in really small cities or even towns seem to have a FLGS to play at Man, I'm a Silesian scum and I have like 3 stores with a game support in my city and 3 more in nearby towns but my day schedule is fucked up so I can't even finish my army and start playing the game. Anyway, you should try to find FB groups like Age of Sigmar Warszawa and just ask about the game - it will do the trick
Liam Gonzalez
>living in non American time zones I seriously hope ya’ll don’t do this.
Connor Howard
I was suprised by it too. WWI/WWII was always a thing, I remember even russian systems translated in to polish from the 80s. But there is WWII now, napolenic era stuff, and I seen people play XVII century stuff and migration time battle with vizigots fighting byzantin expedition forces under belisarius.
eternal problem, przyjacielu.
Josiah Cook
>eternal problem, przyjacielu. nie mają w złotych tarasach stołów do gry? chyba jakies tam były. Chociaż dawno byłem bo bieda i praca w anglii jak debil
Lucas Adams
>unironically living in america More often than not I get the idea that people live in the usa despite it being the usa, like it's some survivalist achievement.
Caleb Smith
>tfw I live in waking distance from one of the largest AoS GTs in the world >tfw massive GW community >tfw if I want to play anything else though theres nothing Not like I wanted to try some meme game anyway h-heh
Henry Powell
I've added extra pins between squiggos and one connecting one bellow to the base. Grots were randomly allocated on them, just to make them fit in place, it looks nothing like a box art, but serves well
Mrok.
yeah, that is kind of a my problem, I decided to never use facebook. It is kind of strange how all forums, and all stores just died in warsaw, I remember tournaments that had like 100+people, a huge warmachine sceen, ton of w40k players, a booming recasting industry. Now the recasters of all have legal companies and make stuff for w40k and serious buissnessman, when I remember casting sm bikes with them, when bikes were really shit :D
