Since last spring the attractive young women of the kingdom have been absconding to the forests to cavort in satyr groves, leaving behind their families and refusing to return. Whole villages are left without eligible young woman, and even girls from the cities are beginning to depart for the woodlands. Attempts to retrieve the women by their fathers, brothers, and husbands has only left the menfolk rebuffed and humiliated.
The king is fearful that whatever affliction is taking hold of the peasantry will soon strike the nobility, possibly even the royal family. He needs you to fix it.
I just read a synopsis for this book and boy does it sound like Brian Keene suffers from impotence.
