Well, it all started on New Year's Eve, 1999. I was honestly in a pretty bad place. Down on myself, down on my dead-end job, and my girlfriend had just dumped me. I really wasn't sure how I was going to get through the next day, let alone a new century. You know how it always seems like the future promises such great things? We're going to have flying cars, theme-parks on the moon, and hot alien babes! But none of that was going to come true, at least not for me.
But then I got a delivery call. One pizza for an I.C. Wiener at Applied Cryogenics....

Here’s minecracked both from packs. The lava burst is missing it’s bottom and has a black cards artist name up above.
The curse of deaths hold has a streak of extra black bleeding onto the card, I actually really like the look, makes it look like the spells power is warping the card itself.

i collect an unique misprint in the history of mtg, the french version of Hot Springs, it's a shit rare (on the RL kek) from ice age. As you can see the "enchant : land" is fucked up, the white writing is out centered while the black is normal.

As promised, some pics incoming. We'll start with this one, some choice alters from Daretti. Top left, by the way, is a signed Italian Maze of Ith named Labirinto de Ith (which is just fabulous). The Platinum Angel is a Mirrodin pack foil. In case you don't get the references, the Powerstone is the Dark Crystal, the Temple is the Luxor Hotel, the Monolith is, well, the Monolith from 2001, the Cube is the Borg Cube from First Contact, and the Helm is Bender's head.

We continue with some stuff from Tymna/Akiri. The Sword cycle is all signed (except Light and Shadow, the artist left before I could get a copy for him to sign). The Hippie is a promo foil with best art and flavor text. The Vindicate is judge promo and my my third favorite card. The Flamespeaker is just a baller foil. The Vault is a solved Rubix Cube.

This is from Ghoulcaller Gisa. The Swamp is my favorite of the mana base, which is all non-matching foil Swamps. The Grave Pact is the best foil of that card. The Necropotence is absolutely amazing (1000 points if you know who it is). The Coffers and Coat are both great foils and the Mike is signed. The tokens are just neat.

My least interesting deck, this is from Vorel. The Ancient and Reactor are great foils, the Fog is Beta, and the Witness appears to be some kind of Alien, keep your distance.

These are randoms from my binder. The Numot is textless extended. The Path is Tron. The Crossroads and Day of Judgement are extended. The Ascension is (I believe) Japanese foil. The Dreams is foil and signed by the artist. The Nicol Bolas and Cromat are both pack foils.

I collect three cards. Here's one of them. Norin is my favorite legend and I have over 60 of them, mostly altered by the person I got it from. I have six foils, including this clean foil set that I play with. These are the two good alters, one of the left is Necropotence (you'll see why in a moment) and the right is Ice Cream Norin, both done by a guy I knew at FNM.

And here's why I have a Necro-Norin. I also collect Necropotences as my legit favorite card ever. I have about 30, these are the best (other than the one in Gisa). The alter on the left is Vision, from Marvel comics. The center one is double signed, the rest are normal signed. Tedin was a real champ one time and signed them all for me.
