Attached: 1521176754334.jpg (1920x1080, 620K)

Lottery: Selection by the God-Emperor's grace, and a little luck. 51-55
but who's in the lottery?
d10

Rolled 4 (1d10)

Rolled 4 (1d10)

Elite tithe: The best of the best of the planet were recruited for this regiment. (If caste-born or nobility was rolled on demographic table, you may select this by default) 2-4
twas also meant to be
whether service in the guard counts as winning or losing the lottery can be decided later
next up homeworld
d100

Rolled 85 (1d100)

NICE

Attached: 1521783339439.jpg (1600x900, 680K)

Shrine World: They charge into battle eagerly, and their very prayers are warcries. 81-90
probably winning the lottery then
terrian now d100

Rolled 57 (1d100)

Attached: Imperium_048.jpg (533x1066, 425K)

Rolled 29 (1d100)

Ice: Cold-blooded, with hearts of fire. 51-60
frozen shrine world
cool

next up core units
d100

Rolled 96 (1d100)

96-99 Shock Troopers
their selected from the elites right?
specialisation d10

Rolled 4 (1d10)

>elite shock troopers from frozen shrine worlds

I'm stealing this already.

4 Lightning Strike
zealous blitzkrieg
goes well with the shock troopers
d10 for loyalty

Rolled 6 (1d10)

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Please don't be heretics.

6-7 Undisciplined: Will follow the Emperor but don't expect them to bow to authority figures.
1 Overzealous: need to be actively held back from giving their lives for the Emperor
maybe both
>don't attack now that's suicide
>> if the emperor wills these heretics to die NOW then by the throne now is when they shall die!
special equipment now d100

Rolled 5 (1d100)

We have Koolaid crusaders here

1-10 Traditional Weapon
the're faith in the emperor is MORE then enough
next up d100 for regimental creed

Rolled 6 (1d10)

d100

Rolled 79 (1d100)

oh shit it was 1d100

The finest warriors of their planet and they're emperor loving traditionalists, I love it

Attached: 482.jpg (600x792, 77K)

76-80 Glory In Death: The regiment's mission is to die, and take as many enemies with it as possible.
so
zealous crusaders selected at random from the elite
they prefer shock troopers that compliment their blitzkrieg tactics and are so eager to fight the enemys of the imperium as to be unruly

shit
d100 for regiment friends

Rolled 65 (1d100)

61-75 Imperial Guard (of a specific world)
OK guards gotta stick together
d100 for enemys
also name

Rolled 38 (1d100)

The Ivory Lances

32-42 Eldar
them dam knife ears
need a name but i think this turned out pretty well

maybe the lottery is for recrutment into the shock troops and if you lose you get to be in the regiments other assets

Rolled 31 (1d100)

Attached: 558_realsize.jpg (2000x1068, 5.22M)

...

>hating the empress regent
Not gonna end well for them.

Rolled 5, 6 = 11 (2d6)

the who?

I like the idea of mechanized pioneers packing bundle grenades, carbine and traditions short sabres. They excel in urban fighting and can also exploit openings in the front.

Most of the IG regiments names are based off their homeworld name, so...

[Planetname] firebrands?

it's an ice-world so..
Frostbite?
the Frostbite Firebrands?

>frostbite

Come one, you can do better than that.

On the other hand
>ice world
>stortm troopers
>traditional weapons

[Planetname] frostblades?

FrostBlade Firebrands

Rolled 2 (1d10)

Attached: 1443916080569.png (217x225, 22K)

Helanort Glaciarguard

you know what
we did roll another guard regiment for allies so why not roll them up.
Imperial Guard: A true regiment, drilled and competent in their service. 1-4
these guy have close and good relations with the Frostblade Firebrands lets roll up the rest
d100 for Recruitment Criteria

thats also a good name

Rolled 83 (1d100)

Gangers: They fought each other in the slums, now they fight a true enemy. (If Penal Legion was rolled, this may be taken as default) 71-85
former gangers
but how are they recruited?

Rolled 95 (1d100)

it's a d10 but i forgot to put that sorry

Rolled 2 (1d10)

Elite tithe: The best of the best of the planet were recruited for this regiment. (If caste-born or nobility was rolled on demographic table, you may select this by default) 2-4
they mat be gangers but they know their stuff
next up homeworld d100

Rolled 48 (1d100)

Death World: For these people, life was a war before they could speak. 41-55
what kind of death world?
d100

Rolled 14 (1d100)

Rolled 41 (1d100)

Recommending ice picks/axes as their traditional weapons

what about repurposed climbing equipment?
that cover a hell lot of stuff

Jungle: Masters of stealth and inured to disease. 1-25
Desert: At home in sun, sand and wind. 26-50
desert jungle?
maybe jungle at the poles and dessert around the equator
perhaps it's considered a death world because of all the gang warfare?
anyway d100 for core units

Rolled 61 (1d100)

Attached: Tallarn_Sniper_by_Obrotowy.jpg (780x780, 146K)

maybe is something like crips and bloods, junglevsdesert

Trench pick. Functions as an axe, pick, ice picks, tool, weapon, etc.

Attached: sgi47-pic3.jpg (1280x960, 274K)

the planet is cut in two by a massive and inhumane dessert while the poles hold tundras and everything in between is thick jungle.

Perfect weapon to slay the enemies of the emperor

i thought that meant traditional guard weaponry
lasgun bayonet etc
this makes more sense
holy shit yes
56-70 Mechanized Infantry
d10 for specialisation

Rolled 10 (1d10)

Depicted: Imperial priest of the planets dominate sect blessing the regiments lasguns

maybe the northern hemisphere dessert vs southern hemisphere
constantly feuding to the point the planets considered a death world
10 Hive Warfare
could we re-roll that its makes no sense

Forgot picture of course
It can, it can also mean like, a traditional folk weapon, like a special side arm or knife.

Attached: 800xex.jpg (600x421, 86K)

Rolled 9 (1d10)

9 Guerrilla Warfare
works both in the jungle and in the dessert
d10 for loyalty

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Attached: psw8xl2.jpg (2034x1413, 272K)

>guerrilla warfare
>gangers
>mechanized infantry

So basically popping caps on the 40k cadillac with 40k MAC's lasguns

Fitting

Anyway these guys are a mechanised division, it's clear they drive the wheels that get the other guys to the fighting faster, then lend skirmish support while the ice worlders lead the assault.

1 Overzealous: need to be actively held back from giving their lives for the Emperor
fits with their allies
maybe when the north jungle gang vs south jungle gang war heats up to much the official governors of the planet take the most dangerous gangers (the elites) and turns them into a regiment

shit
d100 for special equipiment

since the space in between the two jungles is a huge dessert the gangers use vehicles to shoot each-other up hence the mechinized warfare
and since their just gangers they have to be careful with their vehicles hence the guerrilla warfare
also
this is great

d100

Rolled 23 (1d100)

youtu.be/Wo5ro1nWsPU
GLORIUS GANGING FOR THE EMPHRA

21-30 Specialized Lasgun Pattern
las oozies? las 45s?
the're space gangers that like drivebys so
las-oozies sounds like it will fit
d100 for regiment creed

Rolled 34 (1d100)

1-40 For The Homeworld: This regiment's mission is to demonstrate the skill and steel of the homeworld to the rest of the Imperium.
on the homeworld it may be spacebloods vs spacecrips
but in the guard it's about representing space Los-Angeles
the're friends with the Frostblade Firebrands
but who are their enemys
d100

Rolled 24 (1d100)

REPRESENTING THE SPACEHOOD

3-31 Orks
pansy ass greenskins

these guys need a name

Angelis 45's Bloodcrips

i'ma go eat dinner and then make a summery

The Uzimandes "Uzi" pattern Las pistol features a fully automatic firing mode and is typically fitted with double stacked power packs. It is commonly used by drivers to provide close fire support for nearby infantry, or to perform light hit and run tactics.

love it

first of
THE FROSTBLADE FIREBRANDS
>live on a frozen shrine world
>are blitzkrieg specialists
>because of this they make heavy use of elite shock troops that are "hand picked by the emperor himself" (chosen by lottery) from the rest of the regiment
>however they can be almost overzealous in their willingness to die in the name of the emperor
the FROST BLADE FIREBRANDS hate all the imperiums enemys but hold a special disgust for the eldar
they also hold good relations with...

...

perhaps Uzimandes could be the name of the planet

the Angelia 45's Bloodcrips (definitely need a better name)
>live on a jungle world with a huge barren desert along the equator essentially splitting the planet in half
>the northern and southern hemisphere are both home to gangs with a bitter rivalry with each other
>the two gangs are constantly at war two the extent that the planet is sometimes classified as a death world the attrition rate is so bad for both sides
>due to the massive dessert separating their turfs both gangs have developed a cross between guerrilla and mechanised warfare with a emphases on drive-by shooting which they carry on into the gaurd
>they also utilise the uzimandius pattern lasgun otherwise known as the "Uzi"
>when the gang war heats up to much "as in the planet is reclassified as a deathworld" the planetary governors round up the most dangerous and effective of the gangers into a guard regiment
>the gang rivalry in the regiments is mostly forgotten partly through both gangs sharing a fanatical devotion to the emperor partly through heavy use of commissioners putting down any infighting and partly through the idea that the gangers have now left their old gangs to represent the home world (manly the commissars)
they get along well with the FROSTBLADE FIREBRANDS and hold a healthy hatred for the enemys of man with orks receiving special contempt from the troops
