That happened to me, lost so much, literally thousands of images, over a 100 books and PDFs for different systems, so many gigabytes, lost....
Also lost all my old /pol/ flags (that would be worthless with new/pol/, lost all my people memes (literally just short of a thousand different pepes), lost all my reaction images (had them all well organized into neat and easy to navigate folders), lost all my WIP home brew setting, all my porn, all the literally best YLYL from /b/ and /gif/ (only saved the stuff that was actually funny and not just cancer).

In nothing but a single second I lost hours and gigabytes of information, years gone in a flash.
