Tzeentch

Catachan Guard!

No, I'm sleepless user and waiting for the painkiller + alcohol concoction I just downed to kick in

Reposting because thread died on me:

So, starting with scions, 2 sc boxes plus what to have a reasonable army?

Scions

Flyrants and Winged DPrinces gonna be reduced to 1 per detachment. Can’t wait for the tears of people who don’t follow tourneys bitching about how “Taufags got their way”.

Another 2 SC boxes

Titan legion.

forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Legio-Titanicus-Titan-Maniple at a minimum

Anyone got the newcron codex?

Attached: 245433.jpg (694x1000, 164K)

>here's an ability that allows you to have 7CP like the average list with the simple 1HQ 1Troops compulsary detachemnt thrice so you can easily get your cult/coven/kabal army together without too much in tax units
>and for larger games we'll double up this ability so you don't get shafted in 3k pts game
REEEEE, LET US GO OVER THE 3 DETACHMENT LIMIT OR WE'RE MISSING OUT ON 11 CP

I'm fine with that. I only ever brought 1 DP anyways, and half the time I can't find the points to even give him wings,

Legion of the Damned backed by Deathwatch,

Why lie about this, friend?

It isn't out yet so no

3plusplus.net/2018/03/necron-codex-leak/

The leak is 100% what is in the book

2 squads of Bullgryns to put in the Tauroxes or a couple of Sentinels/Leman Russes.

Welcome to the Drukhari, Kabalite.

2 stompas and a barebones warboss

So, I want to start Orks because I enjoy converting and Ork lore. I also planned on scratchbuilding half of my army instead of buying most of it since that was half the fun of the hobby years ago before everything started getting overpriced models.

Do Freebooterz still have rules or should I just use a regular Ork list and just call them Freebooterz? Also, do all Games Workshop stores accept Forge World lists? I kind o fwant to do a Dreadmob.

CAPTAIN TITUS AND THE ULTRAMARINES

>Flyrants and Winged DPrinces gonna be reduced to 1 per detachment.
As a Tyranid player I honestly think they should do this.

Sisters

Ogryn Regiment

You have to pick four units from your army to best represent their range of themes and aesthetics, as thoroughly as you can. Which do you choose? Bonus points for pics.

Attached: techmarine design philosophies.jpg (525x771, 126K)

You doing God's work son.

So, I got the full list of what my friend is selling for necrons, I sort of offered $120 and I don't wanna back out on that cause jewing him would be douchey af, but here's what it is
>40 warriors
>A fuckton of scarabs
>10 tesla immortals
>4 Destroyers
>3 Canoptek Wraiths
>1 Monolith
>1 Doomsday ark/Ghost ark (fully magnetized)
>metal lord
>metal canoptek wraith

They're mostly primed black, some of the stuff is NoS I think , a few of the warriors (like 4) are poorly painted, and the metal wraith has a hideous paintjob. Is this a terrible deal for me?

Pure navigators list

Daily reminder that WAAC tourney fags are cancer on the game and GW got some saps to "playtest" 8th edition, and those saps are tourney fags.

is the new faq thing out yet?

It's for open play clearly. In matched play you can follow the same rules as everyone else.

Oh fuck off

user, I...

Holy shit, well done.

Stripping it will be a pain but it's still definitely worth it.

They delayed it to incorporate feedback from the Adepticon games.

Nope, no news on it either it seems

You're buying more than if you had just bought the kits so to me it seems like a good deal.

okay, thanks

It's mostly just primed, I don't have to strip that, do I? Everything but what I explicitly listed is either primed or NoS I think.

cadia broke BECAUSE the guard did

Attached: 1520299219657.jpg (811x743, 82K)

I mean I'm not into crons that much but this'll be my first army.

I agree with you but at the same time i'm sad because
>Average list 7cp
>LaughingTyranid&ImperialGuard.jpeg
especially ImpsGuard. I mostly play pure CSM so I always have trouble getting more than 7-8 CP.

Is the Imperium actually allied with the Eldar now? If so, can I finally realize my dream and get am Eldar GF?

Papa's boys

Attached: custodes aroused snickering.gif (800x444, 925K)

What are you into?

That's a great deal user

Depends on if he primed it too thick, check to see how fucked they are before painting.

AdMech and scions

Get Forgebane and start 2 armies maybe?

No and no

Unbelievably rude, user

*blocks your path*

Attached: Kasrkin_conversion.jpg (545x556, 45K)

Alright, makes me feel a lot better, thanks.
They looked really nice, and he's pretty damn good at painting stuff in general, so I think they're primed fine. He did a lot of board game pieces and stuff too that I've used, and they're all really nice.

>Thanatar
>sicarian infiltrators
>Dominus
>Ordinatus

What does everyone think the eventual SC! Death Guard set is going to contain?

I imagine:
- Plague Marine squad
- Champion
- blight-hauler or blight drone

Attached: 99070102007_DeathguardChampion01.jpg (920x950, 97K)

Hey I remember you. I still think it’s a shit idea to take on that much as your entry into the hobby, but you seem like you’re gonna go through with it anyway. Good luck user

The scions SC! is one of the best deals out there

Carnifex
Hive Tyrant
Genestealer
Hormagaunt

>dark eldar get a rule that lets them be good
>it doesn't work in matched play

Bad sign for the codex going forward dudes. I'm ready for all sorts of utterly pointless buffs, like decreasing the cost of the haemonculus, but increasing the cost of all of his weapons by the same value.

>Vostroyan sniper team
>Techpriest Enginseer
>Leman Russ Demolisher
>Regimental standard bearer

It literally does not effect you at all how they choose to enjoy the game. Some people love game-theory and competition, and find 40k to be their favorite outlet for that. If anything badwrongfun fags like you are the real cancer.

I could do that, honestly probably not a bad idea, but I'd really rather just start with one. Can't buy more minis until you've painted all the ones you have, right?

What do you mean take on that much? Too much for me to paint you think?

Yeah, seriously, coming with 2x $35 squads, plus a taurox and a commissar.

Plaguecaster
10 Poxwalkers
7 Plague Marines

You can use it in matched play just not in a tournament that uses the suggested tourney rules

any leaks about the faqs?

I heard that poxwalkers are changing to cost reinforcement points and tide of traitors is only going to reinforce 10 models to the unit. That coupled with 0-1 flyrant limit ala commanders and likely changes to reapers in the March faq should bring down some of the strongest armies in the game.

Get started user. You asked for this you little bitch

>*Laughs in 30”*

Aww...

Paint (especially the metals) is a tad THIC but not bad user not bad.
7/10 would play a fun game against

Strike Teams
Hammerheads
Riptides
Ethereals

Primaris when?

Attached: Techmarine.jpg (615x929, 104K)

Never, they were a one off thing

I must have missed it.
Could you point out where the paint is thickest?

Lord of Change
Bloodletters
Plague Drones
Soul Grinder

Attached: do it for duncan.png (1024x730, 551K)

What the hell is this?

There's nothing clear about that. Nobody else has special detachment rules that get limited like this.

>slugga boyz
>shoota boyz
>weirdboyz
>MANz

Kabalites
Incubi
Raider
Hellions

Could 6 Knight Armitages or 5 and a Knight Gallant be a decent ish army? Seems like a good number of in your face threats.

Culexus Assassin
Eversor Assassin
Vindicare Asssassin
Callidus Assassin

:3

I’m sick of you retards, gonna post this again.

you spelt
BOYZ
BOYZ
BOYZ
AND MORE BOYZ YA GIT!

wrong.

Is this a meme?

Just spam the same shit?

Thanks! Looks Nice!

You end up with lot of commissars though

What sweet sweet lore bits are my fellow Archons Succubi and covens types looking for in the new codex?

Attached: 6A5843D9-69C9-4CF7-8877-6AC09F291519.jpg (1280x935, 238K)

Easily converted into primes that you'll actually use without having to split a scion squad

>I heard that poxwalkers are changing to cost reinforcement points
Unlikely

I'm looking forward to reading about different Kabals etc. Got my first box of SC! D.Eldar and am excited to see the different kabals paint schemes. I know a lot is out about them already, but will be cool to see more.

games-workshop.com/en-US/Necron-Dynasty-Battalion-Detachment -2018

I need it

>open play restricted to 3 detachments
>DEldar get rule when taking 6 detachments

It's for open play

>4 identical HQ's
But why though?

Nearly everyone uses the suggested tourney rules.

It's not restricted. It's a suggestion to tournament organisers to streamline play.
