Is there any way to run Kroot Carnivores/Shapers in a list? I like the models a lot but they seem like a pretty irredeemably bad unit, like not even worth it for fluff or narrative.
Do dice "go bad" ? I got a dice cube off GW when I started back in 2010 and I seem to see more 1s and 2s than usual. Where can I get a reasonably priced quantity of good dice?
>chance to fail orders mechanic that conscripts have is now applied to everyone.
Christ that sounds rough. But at the same time pyschers have to deal with bullshit rolls for abilities like that. And pyschers only get one per turn and don't bounce the powers.
Unless you're gouging bits out of your dice they should be fine If you really want to test their randomness either roll them hundreds of times and hope to find a correlation or dump them in saltwater and see if any side is particularly biased
Jason Miller
Kroot are good for deep strike denial but that's about it. Basically just cannon fodder now. The Dal'yth warlord trait just gives them something FWs can do leagues better anyway & the strat for rerolling charges if hounds make it in is maybe okay but a bit situational & you need a few units to make it worthwhile
This is it. This is the thread we get 1000 posts in.

Speaking about Seth, in his audiodrama where he faces an Eversor, he enters into a death struggle with the assassin. He overpowers the Eversor and then cripples him. The reason said for this is because while the Eversor are powerful indeed they are still human. They are just men taken to the peak of human performance. On the other hand, space marines are post-human. They easily exceed the lowly peaks of mankind and thus no Imperial assassin can hope to defeat a Space Marine in a feat of strength and endurance.
We did that with the Plastic Sisters one. I remember because I made the stupid Goku charging a spirit bomb image.
Oliver Bell
They're getting a points bump, probably to 18-19.
Thomas Richardson
Nerfs to "broken" stuff that makes sisters good and buffs to counter balance. The nerfs are huge and the buff don't actually fix what the nerfs bring and are no where near equal.
Like acts of faith trigger if you kill something, but are limited to that specific phase. So only shooting in shooting etc.
Ethan Reed
So, I've got a question about space marines. The troops have the "combat squads" ability, letting you split a full unit of 10 into 2 units of 5 at the start of the battle. Now my question is what is the fucking point of this ability? The off chance you've somehow managed to fill in every single troops slot in your army? Because that's difficult enough as is since so many detachments give you +3 troops slot option.
Maybe I just don't fully understand the game, but I just don't understand why this ability exists.

Breed with an eldar right now, it's your duty to the emperor and failure to do so is heresy.
If they're man-bodied you can just stick them on marines and just say they're huge amazons protected by armor. Primaris marine bodies I mean.
Joshua Richardson
Don't be greedy, bro, there are still some Space Marine subfactions that don't have their own books yet.
Wyatt Stewart
From the pen and paper standpoint a single eversor could easily take multiple space marines. Also 100 eversors killed more than their number in space marines during the beheading.
Christopher Walker
An average spess muhreen? Fack no. But a chapter master? Yeah its believable.
Isaiah Lewis
if you have 2 objectives near your board edge you arent worried about him being able to take, now you have only 1 squad sitting on 2 of them, instead of 2 squads. theres plenty of other uses, deploy them in seperate spots, now he has 2 units to shoot instead of 1
Angel Cooper
>They do left >add 3rd party heads to fix them >gw bleeds money as 3rd party piranhas fix their mistake
Left would be the best desu
Jace Roberts
Yes, why wouldn't it be the case? If marines, especially the most veteran of marines like a fucking chapter master of a second founding chapter, could be be easily bested by a human at peak performance and then put on drugs, then marines would have no purpose. The great crusade pitted them against far worse things than an eversor. Marines should be far beyond human skill, especially if we're supposed to believe a mere million of them can make a major difference in the galaxy. Anyone who disagrees is a retarded HFY-fag
>the head is molded to the body because they're monopose plastics
Charles Bennett
No, Assassins are even less human than Astartes. They have no pride, no life, no other purpose than their mission and no set of beliefs beyond their own capabilities and their faith in completing their task. The Callidus are so inhuman they use their own emotions as tools and weapons, never to be enjoyed or felt but to disguise and manipulate. Assassins are most definitely post-human and give Marines a run for their money.
The feats they are able to perform are way beyond human, I mean there's that Vindicare that sat for years in one spot waiting for a Dark Eldar pilot and took him out mid-flight. Or the fact that Callidus are able to infiltrate Genestealer Cults as Genestealers or pretend to be Orks, or that Eversor that sat for days in burning oil to kill a cult of tech-priests and the fact that Culexus are have such null-fields that they can go "invisible" to mortal perceptions.

Leadbeltcha.

Can infantry units charge enemies on the 2nd floor if there is no room for models to stand on? How about with models that can fly? Can they attack the 2nd/3rd floor even if there is no space to stand on?
Hunter Peterson
Codexes ranked in terms of how good/fluffly/fun they are.
Great Codex: Necrons, Blood Angels, Custodes
Good Codex: Eldar, Tyrandis, Imperial Guard, Death Guard, Chaos Daemons
Meh Codex: Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Dark Angels
Bad Codex: Thousand Sons, Grey Knights
Zachary Phillips
Assassins have been confirmed to be able to kill primarchs with one even having a primarch kill, assassins are expensive as hell to make though it's like saying custodes make marines obsolete.
Elijah Evans
Jokes on you, I'mma just convert lady primaris from femcasts amd say it was one of cawl secret upgrades
Jacob Barnes
Honestly if the pull a daemonettes or that aos dark elf shit I'm going to fucking buy nothing but wargame sisters and post them on their Facebook until the fan submission includes them.
James Bailey
But then, whats the point in taking it as 1 unit and spliting it when having it as 2 units wouldn't have cost you any more points?
Liam Hall
It's a remnant from older editions.
Carter Anderson
>Assassins have been confirmed to be able to kill primarchs with one even having a primarch kill
The Primarch didn't fight back and she had a C'tan Phase Sword.
Jayden Watson
Grots shot the WAAAGHBOSS

Dark eldar tier on top of everything else
Adam Gutierrez
Like that's gonna stop me. They could fill their heads with anthrax and id still convert them.
Ryan Jenkins
2 units take up 2 slots in your detachment. sometimes thats a big deal.
Tyler Torres
Did you forget to put the toaster fuckers in the Bad Codex catagory or are they so shit-tier they're left off the list?
You can take MSU and ignore morale while deploying as 1 unit and getting the heavy weapons options. Unfortunately, all this is predicated in you wanting to take tac squads, and you don't.
Zachary Richardson
Source? So where can I get better?
Chase Campbell
Honestly the deathguard codex is pretty cool. Pretty mono play atm but everything feels designed with a purpose.
Jackson Anderson
Bullshit. Actually go and try it.
Luis Foster
Oh yeah, I forgot them. They're a meh codex.
Colton Bailey
oh shit, it's fucking rape horse!
Sebastian Brown
I choose left as long as the kit comes with enough helmets for every girl, it's a win win because the sisters helmet is patrician as fuck.
Someone put like 100 different dice in one of those casino dice calibrator. Theyre heavilly unbalanced on the 1s.
Just buy 3rd party. No reason to buy overpriced gw shit.
Ryder Anderson
I mean, most common detachments give you a free +3 troops slot. I've never seen an army thats filled in every one of their spare troops slots. Eventually its just points being bled.
Isaiah Brown
??? You'd still be buying the base kit for the bodies. GW still gets your money.
Evan Richardson
Only because Curze let the assassin kill him. And said assassin was also armed with a phase sword, which is literally made from a C'tan,a fucking star god
Yeah but any agreed particular brand or supplier that gives good dice?
Robert Martinez
Cheap Crisis and expensive Guardsmen :3
Anthony James
1/4 out 4 assassins manage to defeat plot armour and bad writing.
For fuck sake the Vindicare missed twice! Callidus lost in melee within a closed space and within spitting distance. Let’s not even start with the “smelled wrong” part. Fucking Callidus can disguise as Eldar and GSC, you know two factions that can fucking read your mind
Camden Cook
but DE were already good user
Dylan Ramirez
Those rumors are bullshit. There is zero chance of them removing Grinding Advance from LRBTs.
Jaxon Clark
I have no idea.
I heard cheesex has some bad balance issues too. I use them and don't have much issue. Don't buy anything like casino dice, just get some 12mm that aren't gw dice.
Brody Sanchez
>Fucking Callidus can disguise as Eldar and GSC
That was in Inquisition Wars which is a Heretic Tome.
Adrian Long
We were always good, we were just waiting for you scrubs to realise it.
Caleb Perry
Supposedly a load of new vehicles at the end of the year.
But still no fucking warboss
Joseph Russell
why are you spamming this WURRL STTARR tier shit?
William King
> T. Guard faggot
Sure thing user. Grinding advance changed to "Add +1 to the models dice rolls when shooting"
