It doesn't. It's a vanilla blockchain with block times of around 5 mins, so it takes around 30 to get decent confirmations. I can't believe ECA is still being posted as it's clearly a scam.

pretty sure this spread because of the big pump n dump that happened a few days ago. eca is not as fast as xrb, but you get the confirmation of the transaction the second you receive it so i guess that gives people peace of mind? still has a lot going for it apart from speed
