Alright Veeky Forums I'm going to propose to you an experiment
we're going to see just how good the autistic thinktank that is Veeky Forums is at picking /moon/ coins
The concept is simple:
>I have $10,000 set aside for the experiment
>Veeky Forums is going to create a portfolio with it
ze rules:
>dubs decide what coin to invest in up to $500 of the $10,000 allotment
>dubs must be confirmed/checked by dubs or higher to lock in the trade
e.g. you get dubs for $500 /allin/ stinky LINKy, user checks your dubs with dubs, the trade is confirmed and you're locked in
>trips get to pick anything without being checked, up to $500 allotment
>quads get to pick anything without being checked, up to $1000 allotment
>quints get nothing
easy as that. I'll let things go for a bit, and then when I'm back later today, trade out the portfolio or create another thread to finish whatever of t he $10,000 hasn't been distributed
Everything will be sold on 1/7/2019 and we'll see if Veeky Forums really can pick winners.
now, what I haven't decided is formats for the following
>trading
>redistribution
everyone can offer input here, should it be a buy and HODL, or should trading be done on group consensus? If trading is allowed, it'll be under similar dubs/trips rules (e.g. trips decides when to trade what coin)
redistribution would be done at intervals. so say, 6 months from now we re-roll and redistribute the portfolio accordingly (6mo being an example, the time period is tbd, maybe every 2 months)
