Don't panic. The South Korean government has been preparing a #cryptocurrency exchange closure bill since December 13, to shut down any exchange that is not compliant with regulations.

The gov't already said it intends to regulate / foster the market.

yup this is literally nothing, just a bill that goes after non-compliant exchanges. Bithumb which is the only one that really matters right now is already in full compliance with Korean laws so this shit is just FUD over absolutely nothing.

Kinda sad that people in this market are so stupid but hey whatever, easy money for some of us I guess.

I SOLD THE EXACT BOTTOM ALL MY ETH @ 1156 USDT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

LOL, no, it is ALL EXCHANGES.

"There are great concerns regarding virtual currencies and justice ministry is basically preparing a bill to ban cryptocurrency trading through exchanges," Park Sang-ki said at a press conference, according to the ministry's press office.

SELL SELL SELL SELL

That's why you need more sources of news besides Veeky Forums. If you followed all the shitheads on twitter and this was real in any way, you would know. They fact that there was not a single peep out of Twitter means it was bullshit

I nearly did the same as you but i did 10 mins of reading first.

lol retard

PREPARING a bill. Thousands of bills get prepared and tossed. Doesn't mean jack shit.

reuters.com/article/us-southkorea-bitcoin/south-koreas-major-cryptocurreny-exchanges-raided-by-police-tax-authorities-idUSKBN1F002B

Bithumb has been raided for suspected tax evasion lul

Alts are tanking as we speak, ICX is getting dumped on

Holy fuck this crash is going to be ugly
$100 incoming

It does in ROK you nitwit, it's barely a Democracy. If a bill is being "prepared" by the Justice Ministry it will be implemented. Immediately.

EVERYTHING is tanking.

I dont see the problem? This is good thing for two reasons

1. Everything crashes and we have to wait for it to recover. We know the ATHs and we can buy low and wait for it to recover and pass where it was.

2. We now have more time to make money with crypto. This gives us a an extra year or two in crypto trading.

We will all make it look at the bright side

the S Koreans will issue the usual clarification oops we didn't really mean that we're just after the bad actors

If you fucking MORONS actually thought you could make money consistently every single day then you have just found out that you were greatly mistaken, weren't you? Dumped my alts into ETH and cashed out at the top of this drop. I'll see you guys at a close to nothing crypto market cap.

sure you did

Is be worried if China banned it. South Korea will be a little dip, we’ll be back in a week. Better buy up

My portfolios gone down 33% in value in the past 2 hours and it's still falling. This is the most JUSTed I've ever been. You said ICX was a safe hold til main net, Veeky Forums. This shit better recover.

this

so should we hold or tether up? I'm only in alts right now which are holding up very well

Yeah, probably because it's unlikely this will be an isolated event. You can expect Japan to follow suit. This is part of a systemic takedown - just wait 48 hours and see. Japan's incredibly high debt is only maintained because Japs deposit their Yen at the post office bank. This is what keeps the economy from collapsing. Japs moving Yen into crypto could literally crash the economy. I have been hearing about this from banker friends for months.

China is about to de regulate crypto. So much market manipulation from slant eyes going on right now

It will never pass both the house and senate, much less get Trump's signature.

y don't they just get a vpn

Seems like a lot of attempts to regulate an unregulatable market.

Slanties never really understand anytihng anyway, just copy answers.

Unfortunately the answers are wrong this time.

0. Sorry, failed the test Slants. Looks like you threw away your one chance to try to one-up the west for cucking you so hard for the last 300 years, that your women basically reject your own men in favour of western men.

Stay poor. While the rest of the world benefits from crypto exchanges and grows wealthy you peasants are going to stay poor.

>There are retards that still actually believe the lying media word by word
Just watch, any second they will promote XRP again so people can save themselves from this "crash"

>panic sell
I don't understand why people do this

I took the virginity of 2 SK chinks while I was stationed there for a year without even trying. SK dudes looked at me like I was a god. I'm basically a NEET faggot but in the army. The whole country is basically being cucked and I think they like it.

why is everyone on binance so weak handed? price 11500 there, 12800 on bitfinex

Binance has all the bug-brained Chinese traders on it

Hold and accumulate

sure you do user, you and me are just not in their shoes. We both invested what we could afford to lose. And because of that we can think clearly and they can't

they are 100% laying the groundwork for icon

Yeah, it's literally fucking nothing. The timing is very interesting though, isn't it? That this happens almost immediately after Goldman Sachs embraces crypto. Really makes you think, doesn't it?

Anyway, buy the dips and HODL. Don't be a weak faggot.

If you guys thinks SK is banning crypto you’re crazy. It’s just another asset they can tax gains on. They just want your money. They’re not your mom.

Give me a break.

lmao
its 10k on Kucoin
eth is at 900 dollars right now over here, managed to buy it at 999,
feelsgoodman

>I nearly did the same as you but i did 10 mins of reading first.
yep. this is why i'm glad i'm an oldfag without adhd and with a solid amount of patience. thanks for the easy money kiddos

I have ADD but still holding. First a bull run then a little crash, now is a good time to buy.

Because it's ending. What are you speculating on ? Normie adoption essentially. It's clear that ROK's government doesn't want it. USA and Japan will follow. You can trade these coins with your pals and try to scalp each other for pennies for as long as you can want but its clear governments won't be allowing the crypto casino to keep operating and suck normies in. This is the perfect time to crush it, right before it becomes legit and mainstream. They aren't hurting real people, just scummy NEET's, pajeets and shills.

>its over

I'm just now getting into crypto and waiting for 7.5k USD to deposit in my gdax...I really wish it was here right now so I could buy these dips of ETH and LINK. But there's talk of weekend dips? Why?

Kek, nice reading comprehension ya got there!

At first I thought he was trolling but then i realized he's just an average american lol

>You can expect Japan to follow suit
Most retarded fud I have ever read.
Congrats

>Average American
Well, within one standard deviation maybe.

Strong argument. Here's mine:

cryptovest.com/news/south-korea-pushing-deeper-collaboration-with-japan-china-for-joint-cryptocurrency-regulations/

Remember, dipshit, they don't have to "ban" crypto, just the trading. And they will. I hope you enjoy standing over hot french fry oil for 8 hours a day @ $12 per hour :)

Consider this a lesson learned.

"Seoul’s official news agency Yonhap quoted South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) Chairman Choi Jong-ku as saying that vice ministers from the three countries had recently concluded a high-level meeting in the nation’s capital, and exchanged ideas on new cryptocurrency rules.Choi said Seoul wants to "set up a detailed system of cooperation" with China and Japan. The official also warned the public against "irrational" trend of investing in cryptocurrencies, and added that a "fever of speculative investment in cryptocurrencies is ongoing."
