What is going on is that the SK justice minister went on record, telling people that crypto is not seen as an investment, but rather on pair with gambling.
He also mentioned that it does not contribute to the economy of SK and people are already to heavily invested in it, so should a crash occur, the damage would be fatal for a lot of people.
They are planning on to enact a law prohibiting transactions on virtual currency exchanges.
