When I tried to buy LINK on ED post-ico (but before listing) I had to post the address and the site asked me how many decimals to use, I put '8' thinking in sats (not gwei), so instead of buying 5700 LINK for 1 ETH I bought like 0.00057 or whatever.
It was a pretty heavy hit like 10% of my portfolio poof gone
