Crypto newbies GET IN HERE

ITT: we post useful links and information that teach anyone WHAT Crypto is and HOW it works, along with all of the pros and cons of using digital currency.
Hardmode: do not mention a specific coin unless it solves a con or has a specific use case (ie. Audiocoin, SingularDTV, Monero)

To start, I like to point my normie friends to this particular video whenever they ask what the he'll is so great about crypto:

Do you have brain damage user?

Coinbase to charge money and buy btc and eth.
Binance to use your btc and eth to buy ICOs.

Getcrypto dot info has a lot of info on how to start buying from scratch. Arguably, there are more efficient alternatives but what I like it's how clear it is.
Something we should try to encourage on nabs IMO is to check urls and shit (make sure you're in shictoinwallet.com, not shitcoinvvalet.com)

I can try to make a PNG on stop orders and shit like that which can look intimidating at first, worth it?

Have a Binance referral ID? I'll put it in when I register.

Altcoinexchange and Bleutrade are free to sign up with along with many others, but I've never had a problem with either of the two I listed.

Bump.

Total newbie in the most literal sense of the word you can think of. All i know is that there is a chance to make some profit if i invest some money into crypto - and that there is also a chance i might lose that money.

Now let's say you have 100 $ and want to invest it in crypto. Can i get a step by step guide on how to go about it, with any detail you can possibly give ? I'd really like to make some money - i am a poorfag from Romania, my job is shit and it took me a couple of years but i have some money saved up - i'd love to multiply it if possible..

Getting verge newbs.. heard it was on the verge to moon.. other than that get the fuck off this board

Is there a faster way to get USD in besides.

These week long bank transfers from Coinbase suck.

lol ok

Thx user

No problem user.

As noob, I think binance and kucoin are the most useful for now, with these two you have access to a great range of different alts and it's pretty easy to get verified

I know that binance in the last week is a bit tighter with new members joining tho

Yeah cuckoin is fine

Coinbase is shit, fees are super high. If you can find a different exchange, or use it just once and then pass to GDAX

THEY RE the same company as coinbase, but have no fees and are generally better. Only down is that the verification process is a bit longer

Why is binance tighter?
Verification or transfer times?
It's located in Japan, so I'm guessing it's safe for now.

If funding fiat via bank account, Gemini (US based) is way faster than Coinbase with a fractin of the fees. The only real advantage to Coinbase is the ability to quick fund with a credit/debit card, but you pay out the ass for the privilege.

Ok faggots, I'm still a noob but not a total newfag, I bought my first coins almost one month ago so I still know more things than you and most important I know how fucking Frustrating is to ask for informations here on biz as a newfag and see how no one helps you.

So this is why I think these kind of threads are a good idea (in fact it wouldn't be a bad idea to make it a general thread) and I will try to help as much as I can

So here's a list of important things that I would have like to know before starting to do my trades, again I'm a noob too but still I think these things could help you

- first, you buy btc and ETH with real money (called Fiat) in exchanges like coinbase, bitpanda, coinmama and so on. In order to buy in these exchanges, you have to get confirmed, and you do this by taking pictures of your documents and send them to them.
- once you have your btc and ETH, you can use them to buy altcoins in other exchanges namely binance, kucoin, cryptopia and so on. Every exchange offer his specifici altcoins, plus the most famous one that are everywhere. You need to get verifies here too, but the process is way faster
- don't keep your coins in their exchanges, put them in a wallet! I'm using a mobile wallet on my phone called coinomi, works fine although it's not really needed if you have less than 5000$
- lurk biz a lot. Seriously this place is a gold mine of informations, once you realize how to tell the difference between pajeets, regular idiots, and people with real Information. Other good ways to learn about crypto are YT (SOME channels are really good) and places like bitcoin talk, plus be sure to follow the telegram, discord and Twitter pages of the coins you have in your wallet, so you're always up to date with everything. Reddit is fine too, but it's mostly full of idiots.
- don't daytrading, you will just lose money. Also don't follow pump and dump, or if you do only use a small percentage of your money

Cont.

Should i wait for eth to return to 1.3k or should i start trading into smaller coins

Part two

- BUY LOW, SELL HIGH!! Buy a coin when the price is low, and sell it when the price is high. Doing the opposite will ruin you. Don't jump on a coin that's already mooning, it's a risk, maybe the moon will continue, maybe not, and you will get stuck with bags of coins that you paid a lot and now are useless

- HOLD your coins! Don't get rid of coins that don't give you an immediate profit. Maybe that coin that now is wort ten cents will be 3 dollars in two months, don't get rid of your coins if doing so means you're losing money! as a general rule, NEVER SOLD AT LOSS unless very specific cases.

- don't believe everything you read on biz, a good portion of the people posting here are just trying to sell you their useless bags of coins. There are also useful advice, and as I said it requires a bit of time and experience to tell the difference between the former and the latter

- GET A GOOGLE TWO FACTORS AUTHENTICATION for your accounts in exchanges and wallets!!! Very important!!

- get in as many discord group possible, it's a good way to learn new things. Occasionally people put here their invites, always join them, then lurk for a while ND decide eventually if they're worthy or not. But always join them at first!

Continua.

Do you buy both bitcoin and ethereum or just dump all your money into one? Do you buy in 1 or more exchanges? What documents do you mean?

Why can't you just keep the btc and ETH - why must you buy altcoins? Can't you buy altcoins directly ? Also, do you buy more than 1 type of altcoin?

If you have less than 5000$ you can just keep your coins on their exchanges?

What's daytrading and pump and dump?

How does the selling process go ?

this is by the way - i genuinely don't know these things

- don't buy coins that have just finished to moon (=to increase their value really fast), it could take months until they moon again, and now you're buying them at full price, so just don't do it idiot

- stay away from pump and dumps (pnd) . I don't remember if I already said this, anyway stay away from them.

- always DYOR when you want to buy a coin! DO YOUR OWN Research, look at their website, their Twitter, see if the team is made of reasonable people or if it's a bunch of sketchy pajeets or some dumb teenagers that have no idea what he's doing. Don't just believe the hype, actually be the one looking for information about the company you're investing in! Very important advice, but hard to follow, since the majority of people prefers to follow the herd instead of educate themselves

- learn how to read graphics and candles, there are lots of good tutorials on YouTube about it

- when you're sending and receiving funds from one exchange to the other, ALWAYS check the wallet adress at least three or four times!! There are countless stories of people losing thousands of dollars because they sent their money to the wrong adress

- download a good portfolio app, like Blockfolio or Delta. I think the first one is easier to use as a noob. Check again YT tutorials to understand perfectly how to use it, it's one if your most useful tool

if any newfags wants to help a poorfag out use my binance referral id 22877828 pls and thanks

I might as well throw my Binance referral out there too 13275106 it would help this poorfag out

Thanks for posting in detail. One thing I'm finding a bit confusing is all the suggested exchanges I've seen so far are only listing BTC, ETH, and a couple of others, but there are hundreds of cryptos. How do I find the ones I ACTUALLY want to buy? I can't afford BTC so I want to get something broken into smaller denominations like TEL or QASH.

TL;DR

buy UFR and get x5

Invest in Bitconnect! It's a solid project

>being welcoming to newbies

THIS IS HOW YOU DESTROY A COMMUNITY YOU FUCKING REDDITOR NIGGER FUCKING KILL YOURSELF

SOMEONE PLEASE DUMP YOUR GORE FOLDER

The only noobies welcome here, are the ones that learn themselves

Part 3

- do your trades in ETHEREUM rather than bitcoin, the fees are lower and it's a general opinion here on biz that ETH will soon replace bitcoin as the main crypto coin. We'll see it tho.

- LITECOIN is another one of the main coins along with btc and ETH. It's quite shit, except for one aspect, it's super fast to trade. So if you generally have for 4-5 hours for a ETH or Btc movement to be confirmed, if you do it with LITECOIN the waiting time will be way less.

- be patient. Don't ask to your coins to double their value in a couple of day, and don't get mad if your wallet takes some time to increase. Get accustomed to just check your wallet a couple of times a day, and realize many coins are a long term investment, and by long I mean months or even years.

And that's all I guess. Sorry for the poor grammar, English is not my first language and I'm writing on my phone right now. Follow these advice, do your own research when buying a coin, buy low and sell high, and maybe you have some possibility. Good luck anons, if anyone has some other questions I'll be happy to answer.

If you liked my posts, a good way to say thanks is to use my referral code to sign up on Binance, the exchange I told you about earlier. It will give to both you and me some benefits in the future

Come on user, no one here's THAT new.

>if anyone has some other questions I'll be happy to answer.
yeah reply to this if you can , thanks

>if you have less than 5000$
That's time for a real hardware wallet IMO.

Op is a turboFAG who thinks this is reddit

Also these are some cool discord group that could be useful for you guys, I'll put the invitation codes here.

To use them, copy the code and paste it after the discord adress, for example discord(dot)gg(slash)and here you put the code

94CaJe coin launcher
dQvtS5
7DXsvW ICO launcher
4fc6v6
J2GrQE crypto army, probably the most useful one for you guys, lots of info and tutorials here

Trezor or ledger?

What are some quality mobile wallets to use until I get a hardware wallet?

Start trading into smaller coins, the market is bearish now and almost every coin is on sale with a discount price basically, this is probably the best time of the year to get into crypto

Lots of questions dude
People buy altcoins too because they're more prone too rise and make you earn money faster. But they're also more risky, as they could lose a lot of value in no time, it's your choice. Btc and ETH are more "safe" ways to invest, but also waaaaaay slower.

You don't need too many exchanges, I use only one to buy btc or ETH from fiat money, and then three or four other exchanges to buy alts

Every exchange has its documents, with a passport you should be fine

For other questions, git gud and DYOR

As I told you, first you change your real money (Fiat) to btc and ETH, and then you move those btc and ETH to a different exchange to buy all the other smaller crypto coins, called altcoins. To know which one to buy, lurk biz, DYOR and hope to be lucky.

These, people, is a pajeet. Don't listen to pajeets. Never buy Ufr

in case its not clear, you don't have to buy an entire bitcoin or an entire ethereum to start, ffs.
You can also buy 0.05 ETH or btc, or even
smaller proportions of them.

Trezor has a comfy display and is easy to use
Ledger has better coin support and has a curve to using it.

You browse biz so I bet your in altscoins so your better off with the ledger.

How long does it normally take to get verified on Gemini?

Verifications processes are closed sometimes because too many people are trying to sign up, and the exchanges need time to upgrade their shitty servers so they don't crash every three minutes.

THEY need time to verify (depends, from a couple of day to a week usually) the transactions are immediate. Another thing that take time is transferring your funds to one exchange to the other, or to your wallet

What kind of delays are we talking here?

> Do you buy both bitcoin and ethereum or just dump all your money into one?
To anyone new I would advise buying ETH directly. Transaction fees with Bitcoin can be a big problem if you have a small capital.

> Why can't you just keep the btc and ETH - why must you buy altcoins?
You could. The idea is that you trade them for SOLID altcoins that will trade better in the future because they're undervalued. For example, you trade one ETH for 2 DOGE (Not the correct exchange rate, just an example), then in a year you trade 2 DOGE for 5000 ETH. There are a lot of strategies that involve more or less risk and are faster or slower. Think about trading fees.

> Can't you buy altcoins directly ?
With Fiat? Hard for now, who knows tomorrow. Look for those pairs or for plans that they will be added in the future, but don't expect to ever find every shitcoin.

> If you have less than 5000$ you can just keep your coins on their exchanges?
You take it out of exchanges to avoid risks of hacking or the exchange running away with your money. It's your money and at least think about those decisions.

> What's daytrading and pump and dump?
Trying to profit from the market daily. In the ETH/DOGE example we waited a year to sell, daytraders will buy and sell multiple times each day. They won't hope to get 2X gains on each trade, just small margins multiple times. Expect to get devoured by seasoned traders if you didn't know what it is.

Pump and dump is a manipulation of prices. A person (or coordinated group of people) buys a lot of DOGE early, buys a bit more at controlled intervals making the price rise (pump) and hoping others join for fear of missing out once it's 10000X more expensive. Then he sells all at once (or as much as he wants when the price has become high enough). Usually leads to panic selling and after a while the cycle can begin again. This can be done in more subtle ways. Beware of anyone that asks you to join their PnD scheme, good chance you are the mark.

It depends, for example when I send my ETH to a different exchange, some hours or even an entire day. If it takes more time than this, then it's time to be worried.

All right.
I guess it's still not the end of the world.

I'm buying FUN, do I make a wallet for this or am I supposed to just hold this on my Binance account?

Again, it's up to you. Consider that if you put them on a wallet, you pay fees to move them on a wallet, wait for them to arrive, then if you want to sell them you pay again fees to move them on an exchange from your wallet, and plus you have yo wait again for them to get transfered.

But if the exchange get REKT or it decide to scam you and steal your money, like it happened with MtGox, then if you have money on your exchange you're fucked.

Motherfucker this crypto shit is stressful. How do you people sleep at night?

Hi there newbie here too :) I've read on Facebook about bitcoin shares. I would like to get a few, since they are still cheap at £50. Any tips?

I had some ETH before the high. Sold it before it started declining and made more than double profit on a little bit of money.
How do I repeat this great feat?

Oh, important point about wallets. Make sure you're using the correct one. Don't sell your BTC to your ETH wallet or they may be condemned to forever wonder in limbo, shouting but heard by nobody.

Fuck you, I had to feverishly lurk here sifting through shit for little nuggets of actual information until I had all my shit set up.
Stop enabling lazy normalfags.

Maybe I was wrong about you, kid

This softcore porn posting is annoying, because I want to learn about investing, but instead I feel the urge to masturbate.

About 3ish days maybe more since everything exploded, that’s how long it took me

2 questions for anyone:
1. Where is a place where I can get the newest Palm Beach Confidential (PBC) leaks quickly? I've tried looking and can't find any.
2. What are some good graph indicators apart from MACD? I've tried Fisher and BBW (lmao), any others?

Damn, I've been waiting for about a week. Thanks.
