Let me tell you just a few of the reasons this would be a good option:
>no more private purchases, everything is saved digitally, the ultimate paper trail
>the fed has talked about wanting to get rid of cash for years, (thats what credit cards and debit cards are)
>no more tax evasion

blockchain isnt cost effective enough to warrant a change, why would you change to a system that does not benefit you? the goal is to make more money for yourself not for the good of the other people
