Dear Link community, in the last few months we have been through hell and back trying to make the first decentralized oracle smart contract platform come to light. However, events out of our control have made several partnerships impossible to continue, and therefore ChainLink is no longer viable effective immediately.

The project has taken on dimension that is simply not possible in the sensitive environment of the professional world. Community harassment, doxing, and a segment of our community associated with alt right imagery have made it impossible to go on.

The rumors of the shadowfork were not rumors but happened on the sly on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018. The transition will be continuing to make ChainLink go on in private sales, where we will return on the public market once our partners are pleased with progress, and community has been severed.

I realize this will make many people unhappy, but there were only two options. One, to go on as a skeleton chain with diminished partnerships and prospects, or a shadowfork.

Weak FUD. I will let in on some insider information my fellow linkies whose hands might have gotten weak with the rampant FUD we are experiencing. An insider in the ChainLINK staff (I can only say that his wife has a black son) already confirmed that Sergey and Jason have a massive stash of the high-res logo of LINK. This shadowfork FUD has gotten out of hand.

know what the sad part is? its usually really poor anons who post this kind of fud so they can "keep accumulating" putting in pennies from their mcdonald job, greedily wanting the price to remain low because they wish they had 20k to put in at once.
