lol, only if all participants acknowledged that it was a scam and agreed to participate willingly. Hew would need to have evidence of them agreeing. Even pajeets know you need to get confirmation you accept them recording your sales calls from them. I worked in telesales for a while and you had to get them to agree to being recorded and also to accept all the T&C on price and what would actually happen and I wasn't even selling anything, only booking appointments. The company was liable to prosecution if you did not corectly inform the customer of exactly what was happening. That was without money changing hands. Any time money actually changes hands you better be damn sure you are covered from every angle and the customer is in no doubt as to what they are buying.

So the only way he knows how to "sell" things is to lie and make ridiculous claims. He doesn't realize that there's a difference in doing it in games and in RL shit, so people don't just brush it off as annoying if they don't like it but seriously start thinking of you as a scumbag or nutjob. The thing is that like I said, it's a devils circle, so the only response he knows is to double down on causing controversy. Now everyone thinks he is a literal cult leader (maybe it's true), nobody trusts him, his subs and views have dropped into dual digits, and he continues to be convinced that his method of doing things is EFFECTIVE despite all evidence to the contrary, because he is stuck in his way of thinking and doesn't believe being truthful is helpful despite all evidence to the contrary. For example, he claims that Trump winning proves his way, when it actually proves the opposite. People appreciate honesty, nobody likes lying politicians, "muh post-fact world" is a myth created by paid shill establishment media, and Trump's supporters supported him precisely BECAUSE they perceived him as a no-bullshit teller of hard truths. But Athene will continue to be convinced that lying and not caring about the truth is effective for his goals even as his followers keep dropping.
