But then, I'm not into shorting or leverage. Tried it a few times, got lucky, but realized that I don't fully understand them, so I stopped.

I don't know how else you'd show it, you start out owning 0 shares and then you sell shares that you don't own in effect giving you ownership of a negative (-) amount of shares in that company. I dunno, it makes sense to me.

Shorting. Borrow and dump at market. Repay shares and interest.

You don't necessarily have to dump at market value, you can (and usually do) use limit orders when shorting.

I was up about $400 earlier this morning, now I'm down about $200.

For brunch I browned about 1/3lb of ground venison and seasoned it with taco seasoning and some garlic & herb. Once I cooked the liquid off I added a spoonful of salsa to it and cooked the liquid off once more then I cracked an egg into the pan and mixed it all up. Formed it all into a patty and cooked it on low heat until the egg was cooked enough to hold everything together. Melted a little cheddar cheese on top at the end. Not bad, I'd give it a 7/10, just wish I had some fresh fruit or veggies to go with it.
