After tonight's livestream there's no question that VEN's nodes will be absolute goldmines and nothing can compare to it. They're already pretty expensive though.
>tfw strength node
w-what is it though user
what are the nodes boys, i don't know what a masternode is.. is it just a bunch of a certain coin or do you have to buy a totally separate thing
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY LINKS
dawgs will be dangerous moving forward. if you're a high school football star you're going to want to play for a bro like kirby smart over a robot like saban. and you're damn sure going to want to live in athens, literally the best town in the entire burgerland, over tuscaloosa some shithole in alabama
kek
you need a minimum amount of tokens. depens on the coin on how high that minimum is. next to that you need to run/maintain a server which operates as a node (e.g. vultr, aws, azure, any other dc). you could, in theory, also host one on your desktop but most of the networks (if not all of them) require a minimum amount of uptime, latency requirements and so on. also: if your not a techy person, forget about it.
How hard is it to learn? I'm not techy at all but own a shitload of crypto. Surely it can't be hard to buy a dedicated node computer and follow a tutorial to set it up.
how much would this cost to run per day? electricity wise? or is it negligible?
kinda depends on the coin. shouldn't be that hard indeed.
this is a nice example of an easy one. also highest ROI. bout 400k a year.
Buy an Obsidian Masternode. It gives you a 10% return per year.
depends on how much you pay for electricity. But as i said before, running a node from your home only works if you live in Sweden next to a fucking hub or smthing like that. it would make more sense to rent a vps for like 50 bucks a month.
so what's a good node to pick up for cheap, any ideas? i'll put in a shitload of work setting everything up if it can possibly make me something like 1K a week in a year or so.
Posw will give you a minimum 40% per year
also how are the returns dispersed? and how often? can you take weekly/monthly gains or is it just yearly?
theres a list at the masternodes.pro website. you can check the roi there. also worth mentioning that ICO's offer a good chance to buy cheap coins to run a masternode.
I think you get paid in coins of whatever network you're running.
depends on the coin. some coins even take in account the reputation of your node (uptime,latency,...)
correct
ideally i could have a passive income to support me while trading shitcoins. not sure if the cost of entry is too prohibitive though. looking at that polis node it'd be 40Kish just to get going
sort by min worth on masternodes.pro, starts from $151
