Plus, insane money multiplying is more of a crypto thing. for me, having some passive income that can replace a low wage would be such a level. I.e. assuming 5% yearly return, I'd need 360k. But with taxes and all that and having 5% in dividens is not that easy, it's probably quite a bit over .5mil. Oh, well, just 18 years till I get there.

Same here, I've never used Robinhood, I just come here because it's the only non-crypto thread on the board for discussing stocks and derivatives.

I'm up about $3k (on $29k invested) since the beginning of the year, feeling pretty good about most of my positions ATM.

I for one greatly enjoy paying 15€ on every sell or buy, unless I can't get stuff on a cheap exchange. Then I'll be extra happy for anything between 30 and 50€.

I pay $1 commission at Interactive brokers and can trade a shit load more stuff than Robinhood and can trade US stocks from 4am to 8pm. Margin interest is cheaper too

You might have free commission but you still end up paying with bad price tracking and poor execution. When I used to use it, Robinhood lots of times would give me incorrect prices or not even update in Premarket/Afterhours
